Is Elon actually good at math and physics? How good is he in economics? It does feel like his knowledge of economics is actually shit but I keep seeing people saying he was an A-grader in school and uni.
>>28553He seems stupid when it comes to technical things, but he seems to have good business strategy. It's smart to integrate yourself so thoroughly with the richest government/military in the world and leech off of them, provide them services, etc. It's smart to buy the president and immediately leverage that into a massive data haul. Plus he's good at securing funding and knows what investors like (e.g. massive personnel cuts). He's also great at remaking history to make himself seem like he is the cause of success, rather than just another investor.
He's still a retard overall though. He has no clue about the technologies he sells, and his skills are not useful to society.
>>28553he is smart in the "getting people to do things" way. His actual products aren't really successful.
Starlink is overpriced and slow, he purchased twitter at way over market price just due to the huge userbase, but i guess that is paying off with his govt influence now, Tesla is beaten by Chinese manufacturers in terms of products now, his Solar business and stuff like Tesla Semi and Cybertruck were outright unviable, the tunnel boring thing went nowhere, and SpaceX isn't any cheaper than other launch services.
