LOL.. no. (check flag)
knew it. this place has been secretly overrun by nazis.
What are our plans for immigrating from here?
>>28814if you find some, lemmino
Tor posing works fine, it's mostly German exit nodes that are blocked.
>>28848I stand corrected. German nodes work too.
>>28849actually no
some are banned. reason: TOR exit node
Why does onion service here have to force you to enable javascript and use a hcaptcha?
Stuck in captcha loops, posting this from the clearnet address (still under Tor)
Don't understand what the fuck the point of having an onion address is if you're gonna discriminate Tor users every other day
>>28916you signed up for difficulty posting when you used the child porn network
>>28814>What are our plans for immigrating from hereUnironically touch grass because the internet is not fun or interesting anymore and use cafe WIFIs if you're going to do something illegal, preferably on a throwaway device
>Recently, the Tor Project made a controversial decision to permanently remove the operating system spoofing feature from the Tor Browser, which previously helped disguise users' actual operating systems in HTTP headers, thereby enhancing privacy and anonymity. This change, reflected in the release of Tor Browser version 14.5, has raised concerns among privacy advocates and users, as it appears to weaken a key aspect of Tor's privacy model by making users more identifiable. The removal was justified by developers citing compatibility and entropy issues, but critics argue that it exposes users to greater risks of fingerprinting and tracking, particularly those using less common operating systems. The decision reflects a shift towards a more standardized user experience at the expense of individual privacy protections, prompting calls for alternative solutions like Tails OS or Whonix to better safeguard anonymity.
>>29326The entropy argument is that it doesn't substantially increase entropy on Linux and Mac, for compatibility issue. Estimates at an approximate 1.37bits of entropy.
inb4 more fed posting. >>28814The .onion domain works fine (although your default name gets changed to Glownonymous), it's just that you can't post on the clearnet domain from tor
How usable is the web today with Tor?
Am looking for excuses to avoid caring about fingerprinting.
>>29815usable still. lately i've been compression bombed a few times by some tor nodes, which i had to blacklist. if this is happening to you, you will see so in your tor log.
>>29816It's dramatically faster than remember it.
>>29815>>29816>>29826So far the only trouble has been XDA, a random softs site, and
https://fonts.google.com/icons.
>>29815Very usable tbh. I remember when I first tried it 10 or so years ago it was too slow to even consider for anything other than if I absolutely wanted to go to an onion. Now I think I could get away with using it for every website that doesnt demand an account. Note the word demand, think Normiebook and the like
Tor posters are all Peruvian.
