Check out our new store at shop.leftypol.org!

Feel free to discuss any consumer electronic products you use.
Picture two are my Chi-Fi: Tin-HIFI T2.
They're mostly neutral with some deviation in the highs.
Much less bass heavy than most Chi-Fi judging from the graphs.

Picture one is my phone, an ironic branding for a midrange device.
Am hoping to install Lineage 21+ after an unlock token arrives.
Interesting apps are as follows:

- NewPipe (youtube alternative)
- personalDNSfilter (global adblock)
- KurobaEx-Beta (leftypol client)
- Obsidian (note taking software)
- OsmAnd (google maps alternative)
- Messanger (RCS is a monopoly)
- Aurora Store (bad play replacement)

/g/ migrant here. I didn't know you guys had datamining threads.
Why?

>>29393
>datamining threads.
Guess was just thinking of something to get folks from the overboard posting on /tech/.
Also guess don't really see how it could compromise opsec in anyway.
It's mostly just generic consoomerism stuff.

>>29394
well, sorry for my bad faith, but i'm kinda paranoid

>Also guess don't really see how it could compromise opsec in anyway.

any info you reveal about yourself, including software and hardware you use could eventually be used against yourself.

but, yeah, I'm paranoid.

That's fair anon, definitely used to be that way.

>- my cock (gets hard when i touch it)

>- cum (in my ass)
>- spiked dildo (also, in my ass)
>- cock ring (makes my cock harder)

Biotech, lol, very cool.

I have a pixel 8 pro with graphene os.
My bluetooth wireless earphones are the cheapest on amazon. 20 imperial monies. Work like a charm.

Heard good things. How do you use it?

Oneplus 8 with Lineage

On my phone mostly just for bibliographic notes on movies and fact notes from random articles. On my PC have bibliographic notes on books which is a little more interesting because duplicate and link to fact notes from there.

There is also org-roam and logseq which are opensource alternatives.

Anyone have a good app for free and libre music streaming now that spotube, and vismusic are kill? The best have found so far is a fork of vimusic called vitune.

https://github.com/KRTirtho/spotube#user-content--spotube-is-banned-from-using-spotify-api-
https://github.com/vfsfitvnm/ViMusic
https://github.com/25huizengek1/ViTune

Simpmusic seems more popular than vitune, but probably just because all the simps using it.

Have tried five or more of these (some abandonware) youtube music clients now, none of them have worked. Some of them even bugged my phone enough to require a restart. Anyone know of any that actually work, or if this is an ephemeral occurrence?

Some Samsung phone that's like 8 years old.

Am currently waiting on the unlock token for my One Plus Nord N10 (seems like its going to take two weeks or more). Am also trying out MetroList a Chinese Taipei take on the ViMusic clone. Seemingly the most rapidly updating, and perhaps the only one to have fixed the relevant bug within a week. Sadly no FDroid repo, so have to treat it more like proprietary software in terms of installation and updating (am switching away from Aurora Store).

This is so much more of a pain then it used to be.
Even things like downloading an OTA, or transferring files to phone.
Like since when do you need a virtual filesystem to transfer files?
Since when do you need to transfer bins back and forth to your phone and computer to patch them.
Since when do you even need a computer to root a phone?
Then of course my laptop only has three USB ports each on a different side!
Since when can you not have a keyboard, mouse, flashdrive, and phone plugged in at once!
And then lol sorry you actually still need that fancy unlock token they haven't sent you for three weeks.
Ugh!

I have a Samsung a35 right now. I have google fi as my carrier so i just get whatever is a cheap phone with SD support from their store whenever the current one dies out

This never did show up.
Am going to try using MSM on an old windblows machine to restore to an international firmware.
Really disgusting.

This completely failed so gave up.
Seems like am going to get something unlocked next time.

a samsoong s25, sorry for being a consoomer, i was worried about trump tariff so i splurged
a kindle paperwhite gen 7 with koreader after jailbreaking it, koreader is fucking awesome
sometimes a miyoo mini v4 for gaming

Any simple phone/dumbphone with open source code, including the drivers? With a programmers manual for the SoC?

May be not so simple, it can be buttons or sensor display, but not expensive.

just inherited a pixel 7a and installed Graphene. gonna slowly migrate from my current phone (Xiaomi poco)

- OnePlus 6T I got as a birthday present
- AAA battery powered Bluetooth Walkers headphones. They're too muffling (meant for gun ranges) but they sound good.

- DNSNet
- Kaomoji+ (app for kaomoji.ru)
- KDE Connect
- Markor
- Neko Atsume 2
- Simple Soroban
- RPG Simple Dice PLUS
- Simple Text Editor
- Tarot!
- Thumb-Key
- VLC

I don't have a browser because every option for android sucks enough to be not worth it and if I wanna download something I can on desktop and then KDE connect it to phone.

OnePlus seems to specialize in ADHD management stuff, like locking out of the phone except for calls and camera with Zen Mode, and Bedtime Mode that sets the screen to greyscale at night, and Focus mode, that locks out apps marked as distracting during work hours / days.

Apps I have locked out between 9PM and 5PM in focus mode:
- Fedilab
- Arknights
- Limbus Company
- Tsuki's Odyssey
- Reverse 1999
- Uma Musume
- Brown Dust II (new, I was curious about how it's fighting system works but early game doesn't explain it well at all, might not stick with it.)

>>32039 (me)
In fact this thread has convinced me I'm not interested enough in Brown Dust II to use the storage it takes up for it.

>>32039
I'm sorry for facepalming at your post
