Installed NeoVim a few days ago. It's my new favorite Emacs!
Am currently writing some monadic parser combinators in Common Lisp with Vlime.
Using nwm as my window manager inside of NeoVIm!

Because of the same blocking behavior as in EXWM, NWM doesn't really work.
Currently switching to StumpWM, and rewriting my NeoVim config in Fennel!

600 lines of code later and just a few a functions away from a relatively cohesive Emacs + WM.
What's missing of the base <C-w> commands there's only go to top and bottom which could be copied over.
Still have to create the tabpage and group bindings, there aren't so many of these, and they're mostly builtin.

here's mine! finally got around on actually configuring niri. yesterday i spent maybe 3 or 4 hours trying to get dwm to my liking, only to realize again that suckless is not for me. niri works and doesn't give me headaches.
its really simple with just the things i need.

niri, waybar, kitty terminal, cmus, and vim with really minor tweaks because i'm too lazy to learn it and add on to it

Hadn't heard of niri, seems like it would be very good with a touchscreen.
Setup seems very utilitarian.
I would definitely crank down the kitty font size though.
Something closer to what you've got in your browser and you'd be able to see tons more at once.

Have been setting up the groups and tabpages, mostly done.
Am reusing some old function to convert arabic numerals to roman for the group names.
Missing the insertion of groups into the list and movement of windows between these groups.
Had a funny idea of how to allow insertions into the window/group lists.
Namely assigning it to the mediant of the preceding and insertion group numbers.
This is the simplest rational between these two numbers.
e.g. between I and II/III is III/IV.
Could easily be convinced to not do this.

well i like the big font. when i used st i had it around browser size like you suggested, and it just made me feel uncomfortable and i'd get lost easily… font now just feels cozier :3

your setup looks very cool and practical, i just feel stupid because i don't understand half of the words you're saying lol

Don't mind the gibberish it was a very impractical, and in that way not smart, way to arrange windows and virtual desktops which gave up on after a day. Should've known better than to make a suggestion like that. Best.
