I never tried DMT but Salvia is like the craziest fucking drug. If I had to describe it, I'd call it hyper reality. It seems more real than real life. That's another thing is you get intense deja vu. Like it also seems that reality is more familiar to you than your waking life. My first time I tried it, I immediately thought during the come up "oh I'm going back to the place I was before they put me here." It feels also like your whole life maybe was just leading up to the moment you get high on Salvia. Or like everything that went on was just little blips between being on Salvia. I don't know how to describe it perfectly, but it's crazier than anything you've seen in any "mind-bending fiction."

It tends to incapacitate you, I usually seem to forget I have a body at all or that I have the power of moving it, but people have been known to jump out windows and stuff so be careful. Probably one you want a sitter for but I've done it alone a number of times.
Salvia really changed my life because before it, I was an absolute material reductionist. Everything is just little signals in your brain and all that. But Salvia made me see there is something more going on behind the scenes. Makes you question everything, but I'd say it's hard to get any concrete realizations out of it in my experience, but you realize that your way of looking at the world is just a small narrow window out of the endless possibilities. Oh yeah, also that you're just playing a character. You'll just be like "oh well, that life is over, I'm no longer that character anymore, that character has zero relevance to me now." And yet you still exist even once you abandon the character.

You also will feel like you will be there forever and people tend to say they feel like Salvia experiences last eons even when it's only a couple minutes.

But I've found smoking a few seeds, 5 or so, or a small bit of dried flower or leaf helps to sober up if i'm too stoned from weed, and it's not risky at all. Smoking the seeds used to be a mainstream asthma treatment in the old days.

I was just seeing some people talk about how Salvia changed their weed experiences, but narijauna is the drug that got me to altered perception while still retaining control and lucidity.
I don't think you need any drugs at all meditation is the way but drugs can show you things you are probably not ready for if you want to try and cheat the process.
