I dunno, what's the Glock sub-compact model? I like Steyr and Beretta. You could just go down to a 22. I don't really know why you'd 9mm for carry anyways. I'm pretty sure getting hit in the face with a 22 would stop anyone.

a lot of 22 cartridges lack reliability so you could have a reliable gun but it just won't go bang when you need. Still better than nothing though. I would recommend any modern micro compact over a 22 if you have the budget such as the hellcat, sig p365, m&p shield plus, kimber r7 etc. csx kinda sucks since the grip panels can fall off from inserting the magazine just right and the trigger has a false reset so I hear. Fingered one in store once and was somewhat impressed with the size though.

Yeah sig is not bad too. I'd go Euro brandwise anyways. A $200 or $300 dollar difference shouldn't matter when it comes to protecting your life.

oh also fondled a G43X at the gun store and not only was it perfect but also they had a model that came with a shield RMSc already installed for a good price.
