Taiwanese DCCU looks so good, it looks like everything the american UCP tried to be but failed at. I really wanna get my hands on a full taiwanese DCCU uniform but its very difficult for two reasons - lack of avaibility and production is largely if not almost entirely made for smaller sizes. Last pic seems darker for some reason. I think I might buy a replica off of aliexpress or some other obscure site some day.

The only "camo" that gave a crap about being undetected by nvg was the DNC. Otherwise I haven't heard that about black b4.

That's one of the reasons they got rid of BDU. I still love my BDU. To me it's the OG. That's the one all fashion camos copy. I've been rocking my secondhand BDU jacket for 20 years. Thank you private Schubbe. I took off his name tag and the US Army patch too.

The color doesn't exist in nature for the most part. A very dark brown is the most you get.

To put it more simply, black at best replicates shadows to the naked eye. But that's irrelevant with NVG. You can see the true shade of colors, so you don't see any black-equivalent shadows, so things that are actually black stick out like a sore thumb.

BDU jackets are higher quality than any jacket I've ever owned by the way. That fucking zipper is so high quality I'm sure it's never going to break. Stitching, material, everything. It's indestructible.
