Just a thread to post what anime from the past year or two you've enjoyed and why you think other anons should watch it. I haven't been able to keep up with anime recently due to personal circumstances so I'm trying to catch up. I know we have old wishlist and seasonal anime threads but this one is primarily to recommend stuff to other people, and then maybe others can comment on the rec. Pic not remotely related

I don’t keep up with a lot of current anime as much as I’d like for lack of time and I’m not really big on isekai or battle shonen. I guess Look Back, the new GitS and Gundam Hathaway are good

i just watched hte first two episodes of studio triggers cyberpunk edgrunners season 2. and i'm digging it so far. one thing that stands out though is all the use of game assets and concept art from the video game. in the game night city can appear deserted at times because it doesn't load crowds and traffic correctly. when establishment shots that use game assets and/or concept art from the game that also show the city to be deserted they stick out and appear strange. they did to me anyway. they don't really sell night city as well as ghost in the shell sells any of it's urban environments
