no you are the idealist. this is like saying money will always exist because taxation is 'universal'. imagine for one second that war was not just an immutable principle, but an act contigent on the material needs of a nation. it follows that abolishing the anarchy of production, that creates artificial scarcities, will alleviate the main catalyst for war. noting all of that, marxism doesn't even assume there will be an end to history, only stages of history higher than the current one.
