Games glorify violence for the spectacles and push pro-violent ideas on people along with multiple misconceptions of violence. I won’t blame video games for fascist scum to do bad things, but I won’t absolve violent video games and violent media any responsibility in misinforming gamers on violence either.

Action slop is slop because the fighters in action lack self preservation and preparation. Just compare how much less views an artillery or tank fight gets compared to any melee combat or gun fight. Even though the former is used much more often, it isn’t as interesting to proles.

I think milsims like arma and hell let loose get action right. There’s more focus on teamwork, long ranged combat, safety, and some level of maturity about what you’re doing. Gamers become much more encouraged to respect other people and not view themselves narcissistically like what self insert action slop does all the time. Ironically, I think the most realistically violent games do the most to discourage people from participating or consuming violent media.

The word "slop" has lost all its meaning, I hate it.
>milsims like arma and hell let loose get action right.
That's because… they're designed to do so? You do not complain about The Matrix or Mission Impossible do you?

Bro, if you like milsims then just play milsims, what's the issue? Although I understand your complaints when an arcade shooter presents itself like a milsim (CoD and Battlefield for example). It's like trying to be realistic but still fuck it up in key areas for some reason. Just go all out in the power fantasy.

There are too many power fantasies and they all promote awful ideas in people assuming they even have anything to say. Cod is genuinely pro us propaganda, and much of Star Wars lacks meaning

The vanguard of the revolution, everyone.

I’d rather than be educated on violence and avoidant of it than be a bloodthirsty fascist barbarian.

>>39564
You can't help using buzzwords for everything, huh?

>>39559
did you consider the possibility of aBBC, op?

This is a genuine criticism of CoD but it has nothing to do with it being unrealistic. Milsims sure are not the opposite of CoD in that regard, go play Spec Ops: the Line or something.
