I love my screen getting blurry and bloody when I get hit. I love all the little interaction animations. I love having a first person view model with animations. I love having bullet physics. I love having realistic AI with realistic firearms. I love having missiles fly and fall at realistic speeds. I love modern military uniforms in post apocalyptic settings. I love drug visuals and being able to bash open locks.
Games are experiences
>>40034Yeah, call of duty is pretty kino
>>46130How can weapons be scarce if you're killing people who use them though?
>>46178some weapons are scarcer than others, cheaper broken stuff can be around, the cool guns you have to collect and repair which is expensive.
or buy in a better state which is also expensive.
I can't tell if you're joking, but that stuff isn't realistic; lore accurate mods that add context are way better. Last time I played NV, I had a mod that gave the NCR more varied loadouts. So alongside the regularly equipped soldiers there were guys with things like varmint rifles and uniforms in varying states of disrepair. It reflected the NCRs overstretched up supply chains and added to immersion. NCR soldiers shouldn't be equipped like 2010s US Marines, they should realistically have the uniformity of Russian rear echelon troops in the current Ukraine Conflict.
I would question how old you are, but you have to be at least in your mid 20s considering that New Vegas is Unc Slop
>>46228I just turn my New Vegas game into my own giant fanfic
what you gon do about it
