I don’t think games outside of cod and arma have night vision mechanics this developed. Pretty hard to believe that this is just a mod too.

I'm unfamiliar with the subject, I assume the green one is for good terrain vision, and the grey one is for infrared?

Yeah. The infrared is pretty advanced for a video game—especially one running on gambryo. Pretty amazing knowing that fucking modders put this together in a couple weeks.
