personally i'm really hyped for Onimusha Way of The Sword because Onimusha was the game i was introduced to videogames with – and Skyblivion so i can do catgirl slave runs in Cyrodiil :3

Archolos: Chronicles of Myrtana has a major 2.0 update in development. No release date yes, but it does seem like it could be sometime this year.

Elden Ring Tarnished edition is what I am waiting for before starting a full playthough.

no, but at some point I'll play GTAVI, nioh3, the new onimusha, and the other games I never got around to playing. as I'm getting older I've found myself increasingly disenfranchised with video games, they just don't appeal to me as much anymore, and I gravitate towards games from my youth, including those I've never played before, so that's where I'll spend most my gaming time, on emulators.

Not really, the last time I got excited over a new release was elden ring and shadow of the erdtree and i knew in the back of my head that it was the last time i would feel excitement about new releases in general

All of them came out years after Skyrim. I rate Skyrim for its time period (2011) and at that time it blew everything else out lf the water. Also all these other sequels are worse than what came before. DAI (Dragon Age hasn't been good since the first game), MHW (worst game in the entire series), and Fallout 4 (worse writing than 3 and New Vegas with a dialogue system that is a complete joke) are all regressions when compared to previous entries in their franchises, but Skyrim is easily and noticeably better than any Elder Scrolls game which came before it.

I think that has more to do with the fact Dark Souls clones are easier to make. Skyrim has a vast open world, voice acting, quests, myriad of systems, its too big for smaller studios to replicate, while there are soulslikes made by teams of two people.
