I've never played a Call of Duty game in my life and probably never will, but I would if I actually considered one worthy of my time. If other intelligence agencies funded and made games that were worthy of my time, I'd play those, too. I don't think playing or not playing a video game is any kind of valid moral statement; you can accept that a piece of art is well-crafted and enjoy it even if you don't agree with its message.
Unfortunately, Call of Duty just plain sucks.
While we're on the subject, I'm liking Far Cry 6 rather a lot. The storyline is so bland and uninspired that I'm making my own up in my head as I go along, but the gameplay is addictive, and it's an openly anti-fascist game that does not paint the U.S. as the good guys.
