>>47479You can't immediately become good, but you can do it in a few hours, here's my leftypol guide:
1) Go deep through the division designer and try to understand what makes what, soft power good against infantry, hard against armored targets, aa etc… It's really all simple math hidden under annoying UI.
2) Assess the status of the country you'll play and the one of your rivals, how many factories? Do they have planes? ships? tanks? And what do you have?
3) Adapt your production and designs to this, the simpler the better, take time and efficiency in account, don't overproduce, the artillery will be all there in a few months and you can put some points elsewhere instead.
4) Try to understand the bonus/malus the terrain, generals stuff, air thing, fortifications etc… You can totally bleed an enemy by holding a well fortified mountain and reinforcing it just when it's gonna fall.
5)
