Depends on what you want to play. But overall, it doesn't matter much what you decide to play next. What matters is whether you're capable of developing appreciation of games. As Matthew Matosis nicely put recently, some games are harder to enjoy than others, and that doesn't mean they're less fun, just that you need a different frame of mind and expectations when approaching them. You might need context and outside information as well.

I played Timesplitters 2 when it came out and I have no idea why people like it. Very arcady mid-tier shooter.
Let me remind you that in the same year came Battlefield 1942, Morrowind and Hitman 2, so it wasnt a technical issue. Some damn good games came out that year and Timesplitters 2 is just bleh.

Found this upcoming game called Hypernet explorer. Don’t know where else to put it.

Just play Doom 1 and 2 and a few custom campaigns you won't want to play any other FPS games again.
