How long does it take to train for a full marathon from being a no stamina pot bellied otaku?

Start smaller than a marathon. If you train well you are doing the same training anyway, but you have a more reasonable goal to hit that is less likely to discourage you. Once you hit your smaller goal, then set a slightly bigger one. Picrel is a method a lot of people have had success with.
