I only heard about this movie yesterday so I decided to watch it on Xitter for free because Elon(gated) Musk(rat) isekais himself as the MC. But I was like… how would the producers make money? So it's only up until saturday kek. Money always trumps ideology I guess.
First of the bat: I agree with the message with this movie that the governments of yurop ain't doing shit to stop migrant violence. Idgaf about leftoid sensibilities about muh migrants bla bla. If the Warsaw Pact was still around, you wouldn't be seeing this lawlessness and I never understood leftists going bonkers on migrants as if they are not mostly reactionary lumpens that would fight communism on the ground that their tribal deity said sharing is evil or some shit. So you will not get me criticizing this flick for THE MESSAGE (critical drinker voice) but the irony is THE MESSAGE was delivered in a very strange fashion. It's almost as if the movie was not made to be art or agitprop, but as a controversy piece.
The movie is low budget and you can tell most of the money went to Armie Hammer's acting salary. The SFX are alright but clearly AI/Photoshop with some practical SFX in that police shoot out scene where faces of cops explode (literally) from PKM bullets.
You can read the synopsis on wikifedia, it's pretty accurate, I'll just summarize it in my own Sinbadish style.

but fuck them and young people, the zombies of the brezhnev doctrine that collapsed with the soviet union because even their repression was hilariously detached from the people living there are the future or whatever
>critical drinker voiceyou make a good impression
Gay thread over a gay movie but this is a Uwe Boll movie, and he likes making exploitation slop more than actual art. Dude actually went on record saying that he made all those shitty video game adaptations just to scum out of the German government’s pockets via a (now closed) legal loophole where the state would pay you cash to fund movie projects.
Btw, dude is a wannabe filmmaker who hates any and all criticisms and would fight you to the death if you ever told him that his “Alone in the Dark” movie adaptation sucked balls.
Anyway, he has to be such a cuck if even in his slopaganda AfD piece the hero of the story is some ex-ZOGbot burger mightey savior who has come to save Germoney from MENA people.
>>47807honestly we need content like this, that's just telling people 'yeah you should kill classcucks and evil corpo-rats, just fucking do it'
>>47801>you make a good impressionI hate the booze drinker, I just cannot unhear his voice when I hear THE MESSAGE.
Also
>but fuck them and young people, the zombies of the brezhnev doctrine that collapsed with the soviet union because even their repression was hilariously detached from the people living there are the future or whateverYeah, because those zombies ran half the world at one point under the communist banner while migrants and young people are going to be cannon fodder in the next NATO proxy war. If you never learn your history you will never know what was the correct course of action and what was the mistake.
>>47805I just wanted to make a review on this movie so leftychuds can see the utter slop that passes as agitprop on the right. I could have made a better movie than this. You know it's meh when you can't relate to the vigilante. Seriously. I could star Armie Hammer as an east german border guard that hates bougies and ignorants while actually doing good batman stuff. Armie's family is connected to communism which is extra irony.
>>47808We can star Shia laboeuf as Raul Castro and Liam can play Fidel.
i keep seeing chuds and chinlets and other reactionary influeners constantly compalninig that media, films, books, are too woke. we need more rightoid media. but when they try to release these efforts they seem to flop.
>>47810They have no skillz.
They should hire a stalinist to do slopaganda for them it will be glorious and relatable.
Funny how critics called this movie anti-migrant, but most of the kills were cops or locals lol.
Even this slop from 90's russia is more relatable and has a similar message.
>>47811And the vigilante isn’t even American!
You gotta give it to Russians. They’ll make slop, but they sure as hell won’t portray themselves as helpless cucks who need some ZOGbot murican to save their ass!
As for the writing, this an Uwe Boll film that we’re talking about, so the dialogue will feel contrived and forced as if you’re seeing malfunctioning NPCs talking to each other. For reference, see his earlier movies.
But yh, he could have made some Godzilla-type movie where some 90 ft tall kaiju from Tokyo flies across Eurasia just to trample all over Berlin and Brussels after watching some Elon slop about migrant crime, and it would be just as meaningful as most vigilante-as-protagonist slop. Because a lot of this shit is just capeshit but darker and edgier and featuring cops and military bros as le heroes. Funny how in none of these movies the MC is never an actual everyman, but somebody linked to the pigs and glowies. Really makes you think…
It’s on par with how every time Hollywood has to show some working-class hero, it’s almost always some fucking cop. Not saying this isn’t a deviation, just that it’s clear that the whole point is to push false consciousness onto the prole.
Uwe Boll's still being so mediocre after decades making movies and a long pause to self reflect is appalling. I never got the lame ironic cinephiles appreciation for his awgul movies because it's never so bad it's good like The Room, it's just bad in a i don't give a shit gimmie money way.
Why are right wingers so bad at making movies?
>>47799>This movie is mehnah, it's utter shite
>>47801>exit the reserve army of labour at an increased rate than native populationsno idea what you are trying to say
>have consistently shown interest in (given the chance) engaging in civic action, progressive politics, etc. citation needed
the palestine movement is an exception, but that has more to do with nationalist and religious spooks than anti-imperialism
>>47815The modern right winger hate art in general and have entirely been consumed by slop, the left are on their way there as well.
>>47809>Yeah, because those zombies ran half the world at one point under the communist banner while migrants and young people are going to be cannon fodder in the next NATO proxy war. If you never learn your history you will never know what was the correct course of action and what was the mistake.if 1/3 of the world isn't enough not to lose it all in the span of a couple years, let alone achieve the names of your banner, i think the lesson of history is that there was something fundamentally wrong w/it
when has history taught us that young people and migrants are, inherently, less revolutionary?
