Im an american ML and moved to china a few years ago, been doing the privileged ESL job thing, currently working at a gov uni for like 1700$ a month teaching 16 hours weekly while i study chinese and try to get out of english teaching with hopes to start a family and raise some red diaper kids, but im plagued by a sense of guilt. Is leaving the US behind the cowards way out? Am I abandoning the a righteous cause or a sinking ship?
