Prohibition only drives drunkenness behind doors and into dark places, and does not cure it or even diminish it.

The War on Drugs in the United States began in the early 1970s, officially declared by terrorist Richard Nixon in 1971. This initiative was a response to rising concerns about drug use, particularly among returning Vietnam veterans and within countercultural movements. The Controlled Substances Act of 1970 laid the groundwork for this campaign, categorizing drugs into schedules based on their potential for abuse and medical utility. The primary goal was to curb drug use and trafficking through strict enforcement measures by punishment and by death.
One of the most significant consequences of the War on Drugs has been its impact on social alienation. The aggressive enforcement strategies employed have led to widespread criminalization of drug users, being used as a disguise to kill off small ethnic groups who did not want to experience yankee sobriety in the wage slave hell. This has resulted in millions being incarcerated for non-violent drug offenses, contributing to a system that prioritizes punishment and death over rehabilitation, care and scientific study. This has also greatly increased the power of pigs who enforce laws which can now kill and rape anyone by planting drugs and pigging out.
Moreover, the stigma associated with drug-related offenses has lasting effects on people's lives post-incarceration. Many face barriers to employment, housing, and access to social services due to criminal records stemming from drug convictions. This cycle perpetuates poverty and limits opportunities for affected people and their families.
The War on Drugs has also had disastrous consequences for scientific research related to substances and the development of medicines. Policies have restricted research to certain controlled substances due to their classification as illegal drugs. Propaganda has also hindered the public's understanding of drugs and created an artificial division between drugs / substances and medicine, which does not exist.
For instance, cannabis remains classified as a Schedule I substance under yankee federal law, which implies it has no accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse. This classification has severely limited research opportunities into its therapeutic benefits despite growing evidence supporting its efficacy in treating various medical conditions and the escape of sober slavery.
Additionally, funding for addiction treatment programs often just funds cults like alcoholics anonymous and WOD propaganda outlets rather than smart environments for sobering up to be able to still enjoying the benefits of psychoactive substances in moderate terms in the long term.
In summary, when forced, sobriety is slavery. The WOD is the modern war for slavery over the human mind and scientific study.

Career Drug Warrior Named Acting DEA Administrator
The Trump administration has named career special agent Derek S. Maltz as Acting Administrator of the US Drug Enforcement Administration. Maltz replaces former Administrator Anne Milgram, who departed the agency last week.
Maltz worked within the DEA as a special agent for 28 years before retiring in 2014.
Speaking with the Associated Press last year, Maltz questioned the legitimacy of administrative efforts to reclassify cannabis under federal law, opining that the Biden administration was โplacing politics above public safety.โ Last week, a DEA administrative law judge stayed in-person hearings on the matter of marijuanaโs rescheduling, pending a resolution of an interlocutory appeal to the DEAโs Administrator.
Maltz has also been publicly critical of legislative efforts regulating the adult-use cannabis market and has claimed that rising levels of THC may be playing a role in the growing frequency of school shooting tragedies.
Commenting on the appointment, NORMLโs Deputy Director Paul Armentano said: โThe new Acting DEA Administrator is a lifelong drug war hawk whose outdated attitudes toward cannabis are out of step with those of most Americans. At a time when most Americans are demanding long overdue changes in federal cannabis policy, Derek Maltz epitomizes the failed policies and approaches of the past.โ

There is no incentive to stop since drug research is a part of the scientific process.
Psychotropics and all the effects of substances are a given with the development of the human condition, unless a society is completely stagnant, which is impossible (unless everyone is dead), people will want to live and experience more.
The idea of creating a "perfect society" is just utopianism.

>>2144941Hey there. I sympathize with you.
Listen, I know doing drugs is not legal where you are, but have you at least tried substituting with alcohol and cigarettes? Also I would recommend watching pornography for at least 30 minutes a day.
I get its not a perfect replacement for weed or opiates. You should try your best consume those as much as possible when you can. But outside of the rate times where you can get them, I think alcohol really is your best bet. Stick to vodka if you can as well.

>>2145528>but have you at least tried substituting with alcohol and cigarettes?Yes, I drink, I quit smoking cigarettes because nicotine pouches are so much better - no coughing, no smell, good taste and they can be taken indoors and at places where smoking is normally not allowed.
>Also I would recommend watching pornography for at least 30 minutes a day.I watch the pornography on the news when they start talking about "the dangers of vapes". The political climate here is complete pornography.
>I get its not a perfect replacement for weed or opiates.I could be on glue or coughing syrup for all you care, but this is not about that, this thread is about the people getting imprisoned and killed over drug possession and the economics behind the war on drugs.

>>2146321>I asked AI on what the likelihood of him ending the WOD is and AI answered that there is a 10% chance that Trump will end the war on drugs entirely. And even when that happens, the effects of it in the reactionary hellhole that is Christan subhumannery untermenschness DIE MOTHERFUCKERS is so strong in some countries that even if the US changes the zeitgeist these backwards vermin will take another decade before they get influenced by it. Namely shitholes like Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Novorossiya (formerly Ukraine), Russia, Belarus, Serbia and such. Which is where the important stuff happens. Because slavs are usually superior beings if they are not sober, but sobriety turns slavs into slaves, like muslim ottoman uyghurs did for 600 years with their shitslamic doctrine of Million Hitlers.

>>2146390At the very least the effect of psychotropic drugs on the brain is real, a real process that affects a person's thoughts and can produce varying results, since there are many substances with different effects. Religion on the other hand entirely rests on delusions, but is not somehow treated as an addiction and instead a "personal choice". What exactly though is personal about it when the majority follow prewritten doctrines? If they invent their own religion, you could make the claim that it's somehow personalized, yet it will still likely contain elements of the environment around which a person's views were shaped. The beginnings with animism and the early attempts of explaining the unknown phenomena through mysticism and folklore are a testament to that, but its been thousands of years, at this point it should be more than obvious that these views are retarded in the very literal meaning of that word - less advanced mentally. Since they hold the mentality of the past, not the present state of things, which most don't wish to change at all. The point is to find a way out of the present state of affairs, the status quo. The status quo right now is the same as from decades ago - religious vermin who wish to conserve their traditions don't like psychotropics because they tend to challenge their social norms, so they support, harbor and neglect the imprisonment drug users while falsifying all information regarding psychotropics. While their "progressive" counterparts think they can somehow bargain with the bourgeoisie which benefit from this ordeal and reject any notion of a violent revolution.
>>2145660I am sad to hear you are not doing vodka anymore. Get back into it if you can.
Happy to hear nicotine packs though, if you can, do increase your consumption of them.

I want to reiterate: Praxis is more important than arguing with puritains. Do more of (especially legal stuff) and drop trying convince these lost cause stalinoids. Getting your highs as much as possible is much more important.

>No, combatting the War On Drugs is the biggest priority.I am telling you are wasting hour time though! You will never convince the stalinoid puritains. Honestly they just don't understand freedom.
You are way better off getting high as much as you can (ideally with others that agree with you) to undermine the war on drugs in practice. Arguing here is waste of time, as you will probably soon find out (although thankfully in the anglosphere seem to be way more capable of understanding the importance of freedom on the drug question).

>>2148706It does way way more than arguing with mloid puritans here though and that is main point. The stalinists here cannot understand freedom.
The best way to go against them and their conservative counterparts in a practical, day to day sense, is to do drugs as much as possible, in as many varieties as possible.
This undermines the war drugs in an immediate way, making all mloid arguments invalid since they cannot stop you.
>>2148926In fact, I'll even go a bit further: The more you are into arguing with the anti-drug idealist mloids, all the more necessary it is to do drugs more heavily.
It not only improves your creativity, but it also deprives them of having access to any interesting you might have that they turn against you. Remember the anti-drug idealists are not all idiots (hard as it may be to believe), and so pro-drug praxis is essential.
>>2148996At least you still acknowledge it, most of the insults and slander come from users who don't give a fuck or look the other way and pretend its a non-issue.
The cartels exist precisely because of the war on drugs and that's just an example of what they do, you can see the rest for yourself on sites like watchpeopledie.
Everyone should be aware of this
>>2148750 by now and yet they still advocate for its continuation. There's simply no way for the cartels to stop existing just by doubling down since they are a product of prohibition.

It is unknown how many of these figures are still alive in 2025 and what their influence is. There still isn't a current year list like this for now.
Unfortunately old Donald is rewinding the war on drugs to it's roots as a literal war.
>>2144956Mao was a chain smoker.
The bulgarian politicians now want to completely outlaw all vapes, since they consider all vapes to contain "narcotic substances", even including nicotine liquid which makes no sense since regular tobacco cigarettes also contain nicotine and are not prohibited. The "BSP - United Left" conservative neoliberal pro-EU party posing as "socialist", in reality Ukorp barely succdem even went a step farther with suggesting that all nicotine products get outlawed and prohibited, except regular cigarettes of course, naming nicotine pouches - despite them being used in order to quit smoking cigarettes.
The retarded politicians seem to be in a race for moral populism, i.e. "protecting the kids", because some kids have decided to get shitfaced on paracetamol, washing powder and such they are no even considering adding restrictions to the purchase of such items. In the same news a bit later there was a headline about a 13 year old kid driving a car, so the question goes, why not outlaw cars as well while they're on a spree? Since they seem to think that outlawing something will completely stop people from using it. The Bulgarian parliament has approved the prohibition of the sale of vapes, now expanding their gray market economy. More so, what is next? Getting people arrested for 6+ years over owning a nicotine vape? Or 24 hours in a cell with a permanent criminal record?
>>2149641Remember the memes about "China forcing people to lock their kitchen knives with chains"? These same antics are happening here, in the liberal subhuman soberite hell of Bulgaria.
Additionally they want to add more regulations to energy drinks, to prevent kids from buying, but the subhuman retarded politicians, undeserving of life, deserving of mutilation to death do not realize that a 12th grader can just buy a bag full of energy drinks and sell them to his lower classmates to make a "business", again, that's what prohibition leads to - gray market "entrepreneurs".
BSP succdem แดuแดlossnWtes, who think they are a "united left", in reality class collaborationist hyper-liberal vermin retardation in the exact lines of - "JUST TAX THE RICH AND WE GET SOCIALISM, ALSO, COALITION WITH THE CONSERVATIVE LIBERALS, SLAVA UKRAINI, HEIL HITLER, HITLER, DEMOCRACY, HEIL HITLER, REMOVE SOVIET MONUMENTS, HEIL HITLER! NATO GOOD, EU GOOD, HEIL HITLEEEEEEEEER!" cannot produce anything but bring about the most reactionary of stances, that only the eunuchs of bourgeoisie culture can appreciate and support.
Gabriel Vulkov, the vermin who spoke out against nicotine pouches, part of BSP, felt that its necessary for BSP to be even more reactionary than the already reactionary CIA-opped composite of the parliament. Such are the products of Lassalle here, for a succdem party formerly lead by a woman called Korneilya Ninova, who compared herself to Margaret Thatcher in a good light.
>>2153503>These same antics are happening hereNot as a farce, not as a lie, but as the real total prohibition, regulation and "mafianization" for expanding the gray market that politicians operate for the own personal income.
The same ones who are vocal about "OUTLAWING" it want to sell it for their own price illegally with their own criminal networks, without the stamp of quality, without having to go through quality control.

Entire talk is filled with half-truths, regurgitated to an almost comical strawman. Especially the montage.
They fail to see that the privatization post-Soviet dissolution created the cartels that exist and placed the politicians in power, yet they still think it can all be "reformed" or "changed" by being rowdy and "taking back the power". Yelly-yelling protesters and activists by libshit NGOs.
That bald subhuman on the show is just another populist (a failed one at that, no one knows him, his campaign or his "bulgarian facebook") trying to win people over for more reforms, his accent is so awful its almost unbearable to me.
They can't even stay on topic, it makes no sense to bring up ISIS and christianity amidst the topic on the WOD, they didn't even blame the US for exporting its policies "Its not Nixon's fault, its the UN, Nixon was just being molested by the UN globalists".
And of course its anybody's fault, except the religger garbage upholding the social stigmas and cheering for the WODiggers. They waltz around it so casually to their agenda - "Look guys, a christian lolbert actually wanted to legalize weed in the Burgerreich - where everything is backwards", did they even bother to see that the christian reactionary vermin in Bulgaria are the ones backing the policies and vooting? Have they not seen the same thing in Georgia? Or in the other Eastern Bloc states?
The entire backlash against drugs (especially marijuana) doesn't come from "experts" but from religious moralists.

<Subhuman 1: Revenue can only come from agriculture! And not from jiggy-biggy dances that you youngsters do today. That is not, the folk must be preserved! And we are rich from this thing, but we ignore it, but here suffer EVERYONE!
>Interviewer: Do you think there should be ะฐ pan-European law on the regulation of marijuana?
<Subhuman 1: OH WELL, THAT NOW, I CAN'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT! THERE ARE DEPUTEES, EUROPEAN DEPUTEES, THEY CAN TAKE AN ATTITUDE TO THIS, BUT SPECIALLY IN BULGARIA THERE SHOULD NOT BE LEGALIZATION!
>Interviewer: Do the youths get more addicted?
<Subhuman 1: OH I CAN'T TELL YOU, BECAUSE OUR YOUTHS DON'T GET ADDICTED, THEY DON'T USE THESE!
>Interviewer: Overall the youths. Now, today, our generations.
<Subhuman 1: YES YES, ESPECIALLY IN DISCOS, I ASSUME THAT IT GETS ILLEGALLY LET IN, EVEN ACCIDENTALLY, THEY WILL MAKE YOU TAKE IT, THEY WILL PUT SOMETHING IN YOUR DRINK AND HERE YOU GO, YOU BECOME A NARCOMAN!
>Interviewer: Thank you so much, have a good day.

<Subhuman: Ion't understannd.
>Interviewer: Any revenues that it could bring?
<Subhuman: Eeehe revenues, carry it, if there are people to buy it, it will bring revenues, but, IF ITS OUTLAWED, IT SHOULDIN'T BE DONE!!!!!!!!!!
(BOUGEOUISIE LAW = RIGHT & CORRECT, SUBHUMAN LOGIC, WORTHY OF A BULLET TO THE HEAD)
>Interviewer: And do you agree that there should be a pan-European law for the legalization of marijuana?
<Subhuman: If the european law has decided to make it that way, then it must happen! But for us to accept such measures… I dunno, simply, I am against all those kinds of things. Marijuana, cocaines and so on. I am against. Because…
>Interviewer: Do the youths get more addicted?

If you think the topic is not for here, delete it! But I think it is very relevant, because legalization in Bulgaria cannot happen, while for some it can and for others it cannot, while kids with a cigarette of marijuana are being put in prison, and at the same time trucks and ships with cocaine, heroin, etc. move undisturbed, while those who are called upon to fight crime drink coffee with the contingent and collect a peace fee from them, while they work on the principle of "hitting someone else's property so that ours can continue", we will not see legalization. My idea here is to share articles, stories, photos of "law enforcement officers" who harass citizens, drive while drugged, collect bribes, engage in fraud, participate in drug distribution, and more…. I am publishing a relatively new case in development…
Drunk police officer causes an accident, his colleagues wonder what to do with him
A drunk police officer causes two accidents. Pursued by his colleagues, he is eventually caught in the second one, in which a pregnant woman was also injured. Fortunately, she gets away with a fright, but the uniformed man, who had a party for his birthday and decided to get into his car while intoxicated, is still unclear whether he will be prosecuted by the law. The reason for these doubts is what was written by the injured woman's brother, who wrote personally to Diana Rusinova. She herself raised the alarm about this case on the day of the accident. Bottles of laughing gas were also found in the car driven by the police officer. After the accident near Chepintsi, the car was abandoned in a ditch and then burned down.
Here is the shocking story about the drunk policeman:
This is what is left of the car that caused the accident last night on the bypass near the village of Chepintsi.
It turned out that the driver, who refused a field test for alcohol and drugs during an overtaking maneuver in a prohibited place. He is also an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the SPS (Specialized Police Forces). The woman he lives with is also an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Second Regional Police Department (according to anonymous information received by me).
In the car there were vials resembling the so-called โlaughing gasโ, balloons and bottles probably with vodka.
It is strange why this car was abandoned in a ditch and burned down hours later.
I wonder what kind of people work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and โprotectโ us?
Although you are probably tired of the topic by now, I am sharing what the brother of the woman who was injured in the accident on the Sofia Ring Road, caused by an employee of the Ministry of Interior from the Social Security Administration, wrote to me. I will leave you with the conclusions about the state of the local police:
"Hello Ms. Rusinova,
Respect to you!
In response, the brother of the injured woman, pregnant with twins, writes to you.
Yesterday, 11.03.2024, at around 12:30 noon, my sister left her home in the village of …. in the direction of Botevgradsko Shose Blvd. to do a quick shopping. She chose the least busy lunchtime of the day. She drives a Chevrolet Spark, with registration number SV5314TM.
At around 12:40, she passes the junction for the village of Chepintsi and notices a gray, winding car moving towards her (Volkswagen Golf 4 with registration number SV0953TK).
There are no other cars nearby! The closest vehicle is a truck, which is moving over 100 m behind the Golf.
The driver of the Golf did not undertake overtaking maneuvers, but he visibly inadequately enters the oncoming lane in which my sister is traveling. In an attempt to avoid a head-on collision, she undertakes a maneuver to the left, as the oncoming car is already close to her shoulder. At the moment of the collision, the driver of the Golf made a maneuver to return to his lane and hit Desislava's car from the right. The Chevrolet spun on the roadway and flew into the ditch, on one side.
The accident occurred right next to โBumitspedโ OOD, Chepintsi warehouse.
The first people to help my sister were the truck driver, who was a direct witness to what happened and an employee of โBumitspedโ.
At that time, the driver of the Golf tried to escape, but was intercepted by police patrols, who were already looking for him for another traffic accident, from which he had escaped immediately before.
People reported to 112, the ambulance responded within minutes and my sister was taken to โSt. Annaโ Hospital. Apart from abrasions and bruises, she and the babies were unharmed!
Her husband and I were already at the hospital when the police officer on duty advised us to return to the scene after she was discharged so that the police and investigators could take her statements and give her an alcohol test. The three of us arrived at the scene, where we found at least 6 police cars, about 20 law enforcement officers, plus gendarmerie. An
extremely calm and interesting situation.
Here are a few specific quotes from conversations with some of the police officers there:
โWhat can I tell youโฆ He (the driver of the Golf) is a police officer. He is obviously drunk, and most likely not only that. If you see himโฆ he is absolutely inadequate. He even jumped on us!"
Today was his birthday and he treated himself to a treat. And this is his wife's car. It also has a sticker from the Ministry of Interior.
They put us all on edge because he had another accident near Kazichane and fled from there. We did the impossible to catch him immediately (and I completely agree with this!). All the bosses are here."
Me: I understand. Thank you for everything! And yet I want to ask, what tests have been done on him?
-He refuses to have any tests done on him.
-How can he refuse? And won't this also worsen his situation?
-Of course! Look, we'll take care of it now. You don't think that, the important thing for you is that your sister is okay. That's
great, but it's already 4:30 PM, my sister is still giving evidence to the investigators, the breathalyzer is on the druggist, and they still haven't taken a sample from the obviously intoxicated man.
At one point, another police officer approaches: "Well, are we going to detain this guy so that I know whether to take his gun or not? And something was wrong with him now."
They told us that they would take him away by ambulance to have a blood test and that's it. From there on, an expert report, a case… We have to follow up.
As they say: We'll see…
In the end, what peace do we have on the road? One car on the entire highway and a drunk police officer driving towards you in the middle of the day, trying to kill you.
Last quote:
"We're trying to get rid of people like that, but this one is one of many!"
And who is this guy, we never found out".
Police officer hits car with pregnant woman: Hours later, his car bursts into flames
Police are checking a law enforcement officer after a crash with another car on the Sofia Ring Road. He refused an alcohol and drug test.
Photos taken minutes after the incident show that there is a bottle of vodka, balloons and canisters of laughing gas on the seat next to the driver. Hours later, the car bursts into flames and burns.
According to Diana Rusinova from the European Center for Transport Policy, deliberate arson may be suspected.
"I cannot speculate on the subject. However, for me, there was no other apparent reason why this car would catch fire. For me, if it was not deliberately set on fire, it would be very strange," she said.
It turns out that before hitting the car on the capital's Ring Road, the police officer crashed into a garbage truck and fled. During the second impact, he swerved on the road and hit a car driven by a pregnant woman.
Fortunately, there were no fatalities and injured, but the police officer tries to escape and then it becomes clear that a sample for alcohol and drugs was taken at the hospital.
"We have photos of the car itself, we were impressed that the rear rim was completely burned. The other thing - the hood was open, and a few hours later it was closed. Our colleagues and auto experts pointed out to us that in order for the rim to melt - there must be a very high temperature, which usually happens when there is some kind of catalyst that ignited the car," Rusinova also told BTV.
She hopes that the police officer will be permanently suspended, and the punishment will be greater because he tried to flee the scene of the accident.
A plainclothes police officer hit a truck and a car with his car, and then refused to give samples for alcohol and drugs. Hours after the accident, his car mysteriously burned down. The Interior Ministry employee has been removed from office, and a comprehensive investigation has been ordered into the case, BNT reported.
The Interior Ministry officer first crashes into a garbage truck near Kazichane and flees the incident. Then he causes an accident with another car driven by a pregnant woman.
"The driver of the truck that hit him reports to 112, and then begins a chase based on the words of the police, which ends with the car in question being hit. I find it strange how they both chased him from Kazichane to Chepintsi, and at one point it turns out that he hits the woman and after 7.8 minutes police cars start arriving. A very strange story," said road expert Diana Rusinova.
According to the pregnant woman, the policeman's car was winding on the road, and she tried to avoid a head-on collision.
"The Interior Ministry confirmed that he refused drug and alcohol tests," confirmed Diana Rusinova.
Alcohol and canisters of nitrous oxide were found in the uniformed officer's car. Shortly after, the car burst into flames.
"It was set on fire at 9 pm afterwards, there is speculation that they wanted to cover something up, but a fact that was established by our expert is that there was a bottle of vodka, bottles of laughing gas and balloons inside the passenger seat," Diana Rusinova explained.
This is another incident with a police officer behind the wheel. Just a week ago, a car with a signal light entered the oncoming lane of Tsarigradsko Shose Boulevard and passed between the guardrails. The SDVR confirmed that the car was driven by a traffic police officer, who was issued a violation notice. A disciplinary investigation has also been initiated.

A chicken case compared to the above, but by logic you would guess what happens with the confiscated alcohol and drugs and you would make an analogy, whether they are destroyed, how much is destroyed…. For reference, remember the customs officer from last year who was messing around with 15 kilos of marijuana. This measure with the alleged destruction of the contraband is supposed to protect copyright and intellectual property and the reputation of the brands, crap, crap. 30 bags of clothes and a bunch of other things, he hardly has 30 necks on his head to dress them, they were guaranteed to be resold….
A customs officer stored contraband goods in his warehouse, instead of destroying them.
During the searches carried out, the special police officers came across about 30 bags of clothing, illegally marked with registered trademarks.
Employees of the Directorate General for Combating Organized Crime have carried out a specialized operation in Burgas, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
During the specialized operation, upon leaving a warehouse in the Burgas Duty Free Zone, special police officers detained a 62-year-old employee of the territorial customs directorate in the Black Sea city.
During a search of his personal car, about 30 packaged T-shirts bearing the logos of registered trademarks and 10 stacks of cigarettes without a tax stamp of various brands were seized, and another 6 bags of imitation clothing were found in his home.
As part of the work on the case, a search was also carried out in a storage room used by the detained customs officer and a 46-year-old man. There, the special police officers came across about 30 more bags of clothing illegally marked with registered trademarks.
The two men were remanded in custody for up to 24 hours. Another person, the subject of the investigation, is also to be questioned. The actions in the initiated pre-trial proceedings continue under the supervision of the prosecutor's office.

Fortunately, there were no serious injuries in the accident
A traffic police patrol car entered the oncoming traffic and hit a car driven by a young woman, reports "Trud news". The incident occurred a few minutes ago when leaving the parking lot of "Jumbo Plaza" in the direction of "Botevgradsko Shose".
The woman, driving her dark green car, had taken the correct right lane. Going down to leave the shopping complex and without suspecting that a car was approaching her in the oncoming traffic, she was swept away by the police officers.
The front of the car is quite crushed, and the driver - visibly worried by the impact. It is not yet clear why the drivers entered the wrong way and for what reasons they decided to drive in the same lane. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries in the accident.
Meanwhile, eyewitnesses clicked their tongues and slapped their foreheads. Several road users got out of their cars to calm the young driver, who had been involved in an accident without any driving violations.

https://www.salon.com/2024/08/07/why-thailand-legalized-marijuana--and-then-almost-banned-it-again/Why Thailand legalized marijuana โ and then almost banned it again
After loosening cannabis laws, Thailand tried to reinstate prohibition. Its failure has lessons for drug reform
In sticky, sweaty Bangkok, there seemed to be more weed shops than there were Buddhist temples โ and there were a lot of temples. Some shops were decorated with psychedelic art on the walls, beanbags laid out over the floor and ambient music playing; others were little more than just wooden table stalls in the middle of the street. I found one place selling Scotty Pie hybrid strain blunts for 480 baht (>$13) whereas a simple roll of Thai weed will only set you back 100 baht . The budtender unscrewed a jar to let me sniff the fresh aroma, but since rolling a joint for me is like solving a Rubix Cube, I bought a pre-rolled Thai and went on my merry way.
On 9 June 2022, Thailand made history as the first Asian nation to lift the ban on cannabis after decades of prohibition. The plant was removed from the list of dangerous narcotics, and although casual consumption technically remained off-limits, nobody, not even the cops, seemed to care. Thousands of prisoners were set free that very day. It was de-facto legalization.
Then Thailand threatened to revert course yet again. The opposition made cannabis a wedge issue in last yearโs elections, and having stepped into power, nearly backtracked on the reforms that made the Thai kingdom a pioneer in Southeast Asia.
Thailand has one of the worldโs longest relationships with weed, locally known as ganja. Having likely made its way to Southeast Asia from India, for centuries the plant wasnโt motivating teenagers to spray their rooms with Febreze before their parents walked in. Instead, it was mostly used as a herbal remedy for various ailments as well as a savory condiment for meals, including the famous boat noodle soup served in the floating markets of Bangkokโs canals.
That said, the intoxicating side of weed was not forgotten, either: the word โbongโ itself โ meaning a bamboo water pipe for smoking ganja โ is Thai.
โHow is it?โ asked Arun โMaxโ Avery over a bowl of ganja-spiced soup at his cafรฉ, Highland, in northern Bangkok, where weโd met at opening time (4:20 p.m.). โThereโs a certain flavor, a certain taste, that makes you want to keep slurping, right? Thatโs what the cannabis does. There was one time โ this is pre-legalize โ my girlfriend was throwing a party for like 20 to 30 people, and I brought this pot of soup thatโs as big as this refrigerator. We threw in like two or three whole chickens and two whole plants of cannabis without flowers. And I kid you not, the pot was empty but two whole chickens were left. People were just slurping up the soup. Thatโs how delicious it was.โ
Weed was originally banned in Thailand under international agreements in 1934, but enforcement was very relaxed. Then during the Vietnam War, TV footage of American GIs sucking reefer smoke out of gun barrels alarmed the top brass. At the time, the Thai Stick variety of ganja โ the buds wrapped around a small bamboo stick like a green kebab or a cigar โ enjoyed a reputation as being the finest in the world, much of it grown in the fertile soil of the impoverished northeastern province of Isan along the Mekong River marking the border with Laos. Thailand, as Americaโs ally against communism, came under pressure and the war on drugs truly began. Under the 1979 Narcotics Act, cannabis distribution could now earn you fifteen years in the slammer.
โWhen I was young, before the Americans came, we were free, you know,โ artist Piak Lexhip reminisced. Lexhip is perhaps the closest equivalent the kanchachon (โganja peopleโ) have to a Cheech and/or Chong, being the inspiration for a character in the cult classic novel Mad Dogs & Co. by author Chart Kobjitti. He is now eighty years old, and has been smoking since he was fifteen. โYou had opium to breathe. And then [in the] 1960s they have a war in Vietnam and the Americans come. Before you can smoke in town and like the doctor, you know, Thai medicine. But then Americans come and they have a law.โ
Cannabis can help treat conditions such as epilepsy, and parents risked imprisonment procuring medicine for their children from underground pharmacists. It didnโt matter if you had a tumor the size of a football โ if you were holding a Thai Stick, you were going to jail. The prison population climbed from around 20,000 in the โ60s to 330,000 by 2015, the majority serving hard time for drugs.
Then in 2014 the military seized power in one of Thailandโs clockwork coup d'รฉtats, and even the generals were growing concerned with the overpacked prison cells. A window had finally opened for reformers.
Before becoming a cafรฉ, Highland began life as a Facebook page, later evolving into Thailandโs equivalent of High Times magazine. Avery told me how theyโd lobbied for legalization.
โWe started by talking about the benefits of cannabis โ whether health-wise or politics or social life,โ he explained. โOur team decided to organize the first 4/20 [April 20th] event, which happened to be a conference at a university, and we got a physician, a political figure and a policeman there to talk about cannabis. That kind of took off, and then the Ministry of Public Health started holding conferences about cannabis and its benefits, so we started attending those and thatโs how we got all the way to influencing the officials in parliament, to a degree.โ
Highlandโs seminar at Bangkok's Dhurakij Pundit University in 2015 was a turning point. The debate gained even more traction the following year, when Dr. Somyot Kittimunkong published a book on cannabis and cancer that helped sway public opinion.
Then in 2018 the reigning junta finally allowed medical marijuana as a โgift to the Thai people.โ The following year elections were held for the first time since the coup and the Bhumjaithai Party (BJT), led by construction magnate Anutin Charnvirakul, ran on the legalization ticket, winning votes from struggling farmers in Isan. Charnvirakul was appointed health minister and on 9 June 2022, pushed through the reforms.
The Highland crew were among those cashing in, opening their own cafรฉ, which now serves everything from native Thai and hybrid strains to ganja garlic bread.
โWe told every grower to ship [their weed] on or after midnight,โ Avery remembered. โWe didnโt pay them yet because we didnโt have that much money. And sure enough, that night, we started weighing and packing until like 4 a.m. The store opened at 9 a.m, and of course we needed to be here, so we had only a couple hours of sleep. People were lining up just to get the first legal cannabis. We invited reporters and sure enough, they came that morning. We had no less than thirty reporters just hanging around just trying to take a picture of the first legal cannabis buyer.โ
A multi-billion baht industry materialized literally overnight. On paper, all sales were for medicinal purposes only, but the streets of tourist hubs โ like the party island of Koh Phangan and Bangkokโs Khaosan Road โ were liberally lined with dispensaries proudly proclaiming themselves with large, green, neon signs. Restaurants and cafรฉs served weed-flavored dishes and drinks and Charnvirakul himself was spotted slurping a ganja-infused curry. There were stoned yoga classes and blunt-rolling workshops. PlookGanja, a government app offering registration for aspiring cannabis growers, crashed after being flooded with over nine million applications.
But the initial euphoria quickly gave way to a moral panic. It may have once been tradition, but millions of Thais had nevertheless grown up only hearing that ganja is a โdangerous drugโ (conflating cannabis with stronger drugs like meth) and the new, 420-friendly climate left them uncomfortable. Reefer madness re-emerged in the press: such as a March 2023 case in which a 23-year-old Bangkok man was admitted to hospital for a โmarijuana overdose,โ during which he crashed a stolen ambulance.
Part of the problem was lawmakers were too hasty in pushing ahead legalization without regulation, leaving a wide open goal for both prohibitionists and the opposition eager to score easy political points.
โI donโt want my children to grow up in a country where drugs are easy to find and cannabis is liberalized,โ Paetongtarn Shinawatra, leader of the Pheu Thai Party (PTP), declared at a campaign rally. โWe need to suppress drugs.โ
Shinawatra is the daughter of media mogul and ex-prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who in 2003 launched a Duterte-style war on drugs in which the police summarily executed 2,500 suspected low-level drug sellers, of which over half were later found to be innocent. The drug trade itself was left largely unaffected, and Shinawatra himself was deposed in yet another coup in 2006.
The PTP sabotaged a bill put forward by the BJT that would have created some oversight over the industry. Despite Charnvirakul saying heโd only join a coalition that will back his partyโs regulation proposals, after casting his vote in a shirt decorated with bright green ganja leaves, the BJT entered a coalition with the PTP, with the PTPโs Somsak Thepsutin appointed as the new health minister earlier this year. Somsak vowed to reverse his predecessorโs policy by reclassifying ganja as a dangerous narcotic, allowing it only under strictly clinical conditions.
Suddenly, Thailandโs 4,500-odd dispensaries, plus their farmers, investors, customers, suppliers and budtenders, were in a precarious position. A government survey claimed 80% of the population wanted a repeal, and a committee convened in early July 2024 to ponder the matter. Should Somsakโs proposals have gone into effect, ganjapreneurs would have had until New Yearโs Day 2025 to close up shop.
Thailandโs cannabis community didnโt take the news lying down. Another activist group, the Thai Cannabis Future Network, staged a sit-in outside the Government House in Bangkok, accusing the health ministryโs doctors of colluding with politicians, using re-criminalization as a ploy to monopolize the industry. The activists demanded the government thoroughly examine the evidence and if the findings showed cannabis is no worse than alcohol, it should be regulated rather than outlawed. Two of the protestโs organizers, Prasitchai Nunual and Akaradet Chakjinda, even went on hunger strike. After five days with no food, Chakjinda was hospitalized.
It was a close call. On Tuesday July 23, now-Deputy Prime Minister Charnvirakul announced that criminalization was called off; instead, the government agreed to go forward with regulation and would hold meetings with relevant stakeholders. Itโs still unclear what would happen with recreational cannabis, which is still formally illegal; however, with a ganja economy estimated to be worth over $1 billion by 2025, it seems unlikely theyโd totally sideline this cash cow.
โThese new events prove that this [criminalization debate] was all about politics,โ Avery reflected. โ[The PTP] were flexing their power because there are people who, for whatever reasons we can gossip about, donโt want it legal. The police want their dirty money again. Initially, I did have a bit of stress in terms of the worst-case scenario that could happen. But it wouldnโt make sense, and Anutin wouldnโt let that happen. But how was he going to pull that off? I didnโt know at the time, but this week we found out and that was to [threaten to] pull his party from the coalition.โ
The Thai Cannabis Future Network called off their hunger strike and thanked the government and the BJT.

TRANSLATED & EDITED TEXT FROM A TEXT, SLIGHTLY DE-LIBERALIZED:
These days the topic of vapes and drugs has become a big topic again and all sorts of politicians and pseudo experts have started to exercise on it. Starting with the President, going through various MPs and ending with the one in the picture. What they have in common is that, with very few exceptions, none of them understands enough what they are talking about, let alone offers anything adequate as a solution. The commonality is that most want punishment, punishment and punishment. For the sake of our children! Will anything positive come of this? No way and I'll tell you why!
First, let's start with the facts: Bulgaria has one of the most restrictive drug policies not only in the EU, but in the entire "civilized" world. At the same time, it is at the forefront of youth use, with a fairly low age of first use. Illicit drug production and trade is flourishing. More of the same is unlikely to make any difference.
One of the main reasons for this failure is, of course, our corruption-ridden state and the thriving mafia. Every time penalties are lifted it is mainly the consumers (who by all sane theories are not criminals) who suffer. Cops and prosecutors make more from kickbacks and participation in the schemes. We are clearing the ground for the fat thugs. An official US document says that "Accusations in the past have linked Boyko Borisov to fuel siphoning scandals, illegal deals in combination with Lukoil, and serious methamphetamine smuggling. Information from SIMO (CIA) confirms these accusations." Well imagine that, the same prime minister who was quoted saying "I will not legalize anything" - smuggling drugs for his own gray market business.
By the way, the basic rule is that weak application of the law is not cured by increasing restrictions and penalties, but by improving controls. And no, raising salaries in the Ministry of Interior will not solve this with a magic wand!
But these are just some of the reasons when we talk about fighting the consequences. At the root is the totally wrong philosophy of the war on drugs, which became a paradigm more than half a century ago and has only been rethought in the last 10-20 years in "normal" countries. The truth is that when there is demand, there will be supply. Therefore, fighting supply is nothing more than a perversion, an illusion. It benefits bourgeoisie drug bosses, policemen, prosecutors, testing and testing companies and laboratories, here and there politicians and judges while only arresting the petite-bourgeoisie dealers and the innocent users.
Demand, especially among the very young, can be influenced with adequate prevention policies and practices. These are almost non-existent in our country and some, intentionally or not, have been ruined. 'Drugs kill', 'Say no to drugs', painting icons and horrific pictures with children does not work (see pic2 for reference). Spending money on silly pamphlets doesn't work.
Many "normal" countries are already on the way to solving the supply problem in regard to marijuana, for example: setting up production and sale by the state or under strong state control. This takes huge amounts of money and power out of the mafia's pocket and puts it into institutions that can use it for adequate prevention and harm reduction. Here is a similar example with methadone. Everyone familiar with the subject agrees that it is better for society to have an addict on methadone instead of heroin with all the consequences that entails. And the cops focus on meaningful things, such as killing themselves, instead of chasing down young people with a fiasco, either to make a buck or to pad the statistics with "successful" cases.
I said harm reduction. Or so called "harm reduction". These are policies and practices that reduce the social, health and legal consequences of drug use and regulation.
The bad thing is that state policy in this direction is almost entirely absent. It costs lives, including children. But I don't hear the president or any politician talking about it, it somehow doesn't fit into the "war on drugs" paradigm. I rather expect voices in the direction that if we get rid of all the drug addicts, we'll solve our problems… Of course, "drug addicts" would quite hypocritically exclude alcohol and cigarette users. Nobody wants to kill off the whole nation after all…
I'm writing all this in the clear knowledge that there are hardly any politicians right now who will do more than just another populist nonsense. But I am also aware that even among my audience there are people who are thinking in the wrong direction or have no formed opinion. Be very careful when Bulgarian politicians and policemen start howling "the children, the children"! Either they are going to do something bad for them, or they want to make a buck, or both!

But besides that, it was an alright read. Nothing will come out of it though.
Excerpt from an aforementioned book on the previous thread: Reality Switch Technologies
From the moment youโre dragged naked, bloodied, screaming
from your motherโs womb, and as the soft warm darkness and
muffled vibrations suddenly give way to bright lights, rich colours,
and a crisply popping soundscape, you find yourself sliding irreversibly into a bewilderingly strange and complex structure that will cloak and immerse you from that day forward: a world.
To be born is to be thrown into a world โ the irrevocably subjective and
private reality within which each of us lives out each of our lives.
Indeed, the existence within a world defines oneโs entire life โ
without a subjective world within which to live, there can be no meaningful life.
For most, the normal waking world of cities, mountains, rivers, and
rain is the only world they will ever know. But, since ancient times,
humans have recognised that certain substances plucked from
the environment can be used to stimulate the brain and change
the nature of the subjective world. For at least 2,000 years, the Huichol people of Mexico have used the peyote cactus to gain access to otherwise invisible landscapes revealed in stark geometric beauty by the mescaline molecule residing within this most sacred of succulents (1). The ritual decoction, ayahuasca, containing
the reality-switching alkaloid N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT), has
been one of the primary conduits to the luminal realms for the
indigenous tribes of Amazonia for more than 3,000 years (2). And mushrooms of the genus Psilocybe have played equally important roles as gateways to worlds and their inhabitants inaccessible to the mundane sober mind among the Mazatec people (1).
But despite their long history in these traditional forms of medicine and ritual, the psychedelics are a relatively recent addition to the Western pharmacopeia. The discovery of psychedelics by the Western world was first met with wonder, followed by an excited anticipation of their potential as tools for exploring the mind and treating psychological disease, and then by misinformation, suspicion, and suppression. Ignorance, misunderstanding, and fear form a dark thread through the history of psychedelics in the late 20th century.
Fortunately, this thread is finally beginning to fray.
Dubbed the psychedelic renaissance, modern science and medicine are again beginning to recognise the unprecedented potential of psychedelics as tools not only in exploring the nature of our
mind and the workings of the human brain, but also as revolutionary treatments for a range of debilitating and life-depleting psychiatric conditions, from depression to anxiety to post-traumatic stress disorder (3). There can be little doubt that the role of these molecules in medicine will continue to expand in the coming years, ultimately becoming some of the most powerful tools in the psychiatristโs pharmacological arsenal.
But aside from their great promise in the clinic, psychedelic molecules are tools for the discovery and exploration of new worlds.
Whilst at first blush this might seem rather fanciful, the existence of alternate worlds that can be accessed using psychedelics is incontestable.
…It is the aim of this manual, using a combination of neuroscience, pharmacology, and biochemistry, to explain how these reality, channels operate and, ultimately, how we might learn to tune and operate them. You will come to understand how your brainโs reality channel can be rapidly and efficiently switched โ at will โ by
an array of molecules scattered throughout the natural world and across the benches of the modern organic chemistry laboratory.
The late great psychedelic guru of the first psychedelic revolution,
renegade psychologist, and outright rascal Dr. Timothy Leary exhorted: โLearn to use your nervous system!โ …
The ability of psychedelic molecules to switch the brainโs reality channel depends upon a complex interplay of mechanisms operating at several levels of organisation. At the most fundamental level, psychedelics interact with, and activate, specific receptor proteins embedded in the membranes of neurons, the fundamental information-generating cells of the brain. These drug-receptor interactions elicit specific effects on the properties and behaviour of the neurons in which the receptors are embedded. These neuron-level effects then modulate the manner in which neurons
generate and share information between themselves. Ultimately, it is these changes in the structure and flow of information through the networks of the brain that manifests as the change in
the structure of the subjective world, whether it be a subtle shift or a complete switch to an entirely new reality.

>>2169393And it goes on and on
the war on drugs is at its height here
followed up by their shitty campaign "#DONTBREATHEDEATH" promotion after a talk with a VIROLOGIST, they then ask her to promote the campaign and talk about how good prohibition is. A virologist mind you.
They have no idea what they're talking about. They admit that they don't even know what the substances are in "vayps".
>>2169397And there was a "dangerous vape drug bust" which was obviously a storage for the businesses that were legal just awhile ago, the news reporters act shocked at the sight of the "dangerous devices". "LOOK HOW MANY THERE ARE" like NO SHIT? Its literally a storage for a formerly legal business.
Its not the fact that they're arresting formerly legal business owners, they can go to hell for being merchants anyway, its the fucking reaction to it that's insane. Like "LOOK AT HOW MANY DEVICES THERE ARE, WHAT KIND OF SUBSTANCES COULD THEY HOLD" (Showing footage of a nicotine e-liquid with the stamp of the ministry of finances still on it - tobacco products)
>>2169403(Picrel)
so what they're doing now is cracking down on the now outlawed businesses that have not yet destroyed their products since the passing of the law prohibiting vape devices, and acting all shocked and surprised about it, like they've just walked into a meth lab.
>>2169405I cannot be bothered to post info on all of the figures behind the war on drugs right now, there are too many now.
They refer to the vape e-liquids as "illegal substances", when most of these shops only sold nicotine liquid.

>I can say that in 1 RU as well as the entire capital directorate of the ministry of interior from the last week and onward we are working extremely hard to one of our main priorities which is set to us by the ministry of interior, namely - prevention and countermeasure of the POSSESSION, USE AND DISTRIBUTION of narcotic substances, their analogues, ELECTRONIC DEVICES for smoking with such contents, as well as the USE AND DISTRIBUTION of Nitrous oxide (known as heavenly gas)SO, of course, they are not some kind of good willed "people's militisa" who are concerned about people making a profit, instead they are targeting DRUG USERS and DISTRIBUTORS - IRREGARDLESS IF THE DISTRUBTORS ARE DISTRIBUTING / SHARING FOR FREE.
Not only that, but now even possessing as VAPE device can land you in jail and have you treated as a drug addict, while regular tobacco cigarettes are totally fine and socially acceptable to them, as is alchohol.
You can be drunk in public or anywhere and nobody will give a shit, alchohol is still legal, but if you're high then you're a DANGEROUS NARCOMAN.
>>2169397 The virusologist says "THE KIDS RESORT TO THESE THINGS BECAUSE THERE IS NO ENOUGH INFORMATION ON THEM" well guess what? There still isn't any information on them from the media. The media don't do an analysis of the chemical properties of the "drugs" or "narcotics" they talk about, all they do is slander them and lie.
As the saying goes in bulgarian - "ะะฐ ะปัะถะฐัะฐ ะบัะฐะบะฐัะฐ ัะฐ ะบััะธ" or "The lie's legs are short" eventually their lies about all the drugs they slandered start to show. Since they are not chemists, they are frauds, eventually the lies they keep coming up with end up contradicting themselves.
Drugs are not studied here, they are simply forbidden by law and demonized. There is nothing "scientific" to the process, it is simply reactionary christians pretending to be experts. It is the most vile shitshow I have seen on tv, next to the lies about Palestine and Israel, Ukraine and Russia where obviously its all NATOpolitan dogshit where they don't cover the destruction on the sides unfavorable to US and EU agenda.
There are no harm reduction measures, there is only punishment and endless stigmatization.
>>2169545Alcohol shouldn't be illegal, there are many MANY uses for it besides drinking
without alcohol there would be no disinfectants, cleaning sprays and a lot of necessary medical utilities.
If you simply outlaw alcoholic beverages, then you're bound to repeat the prohibition period of the US with the mafias and all. Making it illegal is just creating a black market for it, which seeing the present state of affairs will be backed by the same people in government who create prohibition laws.

I feel less and less inclined to post here seeing that there is no result, the only reason I continue for now is for the purpose of documenting and creating an archive of the WOD happening here.
Discovered a WOD site for snitches:
https://drugstop.bg/where they encourage people to report on drug users and dealers.
WOD media propaganda campaign continues, here are all the instances of the "#DontBreatheDeath" retarded campaign which is aimed against vapes and "drugs" in general (carried by the national news channel):

>>2179008So far the entire gig has been "wont somebody think of the children?"
they even went onto implement religion classes in hopes of trying to influence the youths.
But that is all just a facade, since the policies target all drug users regardless of demographics.
>>2179035This has to be the most pathetic WOD media NGO

>>2179055Every campaign they release, every news article, every shitty NGO, every mention of "vapes", "drugs", "narcotics", "marijuana" and all is a FREE advertisement.
They are guilty of being reactionaries, but they're unaware that they're digging their grave with the "Reefer Madness" approach.
After all, there is no such thing as bad publicity. They try to make a problem out of a non-problem, eventually its going to be a problem for them when they've popularized it through their constant whining.
>>2162477I hate that 'acab' bullshit. Most cops are perfectly fine, and many are good ones. What an over-the-top, absolutist, and inaccurate sentiment.

>>2179713It's a slogan for when you're holding a line against them like a picket.

>>2178992The Bulgars must suck. Keep fighting against it and smoke weed when you can get it.
I hope you can move to Oregon and take advantage of the amazing legal weed. Cheap and strong.
I hope no one rats you out. That's a fucked up way to live. I've got it good; I recognize that. I hope you can score some chronic buds through the black market. The real good stuff. And then you can sneak some deep rips in your closet, blow it through a tube of dryer sheets, and be secretly baked out of your mind and eat popcorn.
>>2179716It's fine as a slogan. It's not a good idea for a fucking tattoo. It's a very permanent statement to make about a lot of people.
>>2179758I know it's different for everyone. I'm lucky enough to be white and middle class in a blue state in USA where everything has always worked out for me. I've had my share of trouble with the law, but it was all my fault and I don't have any problem with police for doing their job. I do get that black people in the ghettos have it rougher. For the ones who don't participate in crime and just do their best to escape that area, it's sad to see what they're up against and they likely get profiled and harassed now and then for no good reason. Must be a hell of a thing though to be a cop patrolling areas where there are gangbangers armed better than you are and life has less value to them. Hard to tell which of the young black men walking the streets are just heading to class and trying to make grades. I feel for those who are trapped there and want to get out. Hopefully the community recognizes and helps them stay out of the crossfire.
>>2179820>I bought all the stuff to do it but it's either too hot or not hot enough because the shit condensed in the stem. I mean I smoked it but a lot of it is in an amber drip down the inside of the tube. I could probably scrape it out and smoke it again once I figure out what I'm doing. Yeah that just happens with smoking oil. I mean the same thing happens when you smoke the herb too but it's black and not clear because of the soot mixed in with it.
I never bought any fancy smoking gear in my life. I don't smoke any concentrate right now, I prefer flower I think, but there was a period where hash and wax and whatever were my main and I smoked it out of "oil burner" pipes. People usually think of it as a meth pipe or crack pipe(but people don't smoke crack with these they like to use a stem like a chillum). You can just heat up the glass directly with the oil in it. They also have ones you can use with bongs and all that.
>>2179827Vaping herb is a pain in the ass. I lost my Volcano and the Pax never worked. I'm not investing any more money in fucking equipment. I have pipes and bongs and and a rechargeable vape pen I can buy cartridges for if I'm traveling. Now I have a 'dab rig' which is just another fucking bong.
I'm just going to stick with smoking weed out of pipes and bongs. It's served me well for many years and it always, always works. I got to where my edibles tolerance pretty much maxed out and I thought I'd go to the next frontier. But I don't like it. I never liked vaping because it never felt as complete as smoking. I had the leftover weed that I had to save and then repurpose into tinctures or butter, and that was cool, but the Volcano was such a thing. It was heavy and loud when it was warming up. Now that it's gone I'm not buying another one. I'm not ever going to spend over $100 on any weed gadget again. I grew up building cool smoking devices and I'd rather put money into materials than pay someone else. Simple blown glass pipes are great and usually look cool. $10 to $25 gets you a really good one. A good sturdy glass or acrylic bong can always be had for $40 or less and last many years.
I have all that stuff already. And I could always resort to rolling joints if I was able to smoke them without feeling wasteful. I can't finish more than half and I hate that it's burning away the whole time. No matter how cheap and abundant weed becomes, I like burning individual hits of it in bowls and inhaling ALL of it. None is released into the air that hasn't been in my lungs. That's my rule. Unless I've got leaf for some reason. I'll smoke leaf joints and not care. But I buy good weed and I like getting it all and burning it all. Even after I'd vape bud and do an alcohol extraction I'd STILL use the leftover powder in cupcakes in place of flour and guess what; the got you stoned. And I knew it was finally gone once I ate it. You really can never wring all of the THC out of it. Triple use is just too much work though so I'm best off just smoking. Keep my tolerance in check because my lungs can't handle smoking any 8th a day or anything. I'm not huffing down blunts. I can hit the bong every now and then all day and never go over a gram of bud. You can actually get $25 ounces now so I'll never feel bad about a $1 a day habit.
I don't buy the weed quite that cheap, but I'm not paying much more either. It's such a weed paradise right now. I keep waiting for the catch but it just gets cheaper and stronger and more abundant every year. I'm trained to expect some sort of collapse I guess. Why can't I just learn to be happy?
>>2180022Okay then. Grind your weed and put the 3/4 teaspoon of it into the little tiny loaf pan and then set it into the device. Take your puffs and recharge. Empty the spend dust into a mason jar to deal with later.
What a fucking headache. Burning the bowl has always been good enough to get the job done and I better feel the sense of completion.
Still waiting on psilocybin to be legal. Whatever happened to that emergency breakthrough discovery for treatment of depression status?
>>2183482BPD isnt psychopathy you braindead stoner. It's emotional instability, which comes in different forms in how people act with the condition. Some people diagnosed with it are impossible to deal with others are very nice just hard on themselves.
>>2183494It's just being conscious of your thoughts and actions. Usually it refers to a type of meditation though so Im not sure why it was mentioned separate. Alcohol and cannabis are bad for people with mental health problems. They at best only act as a temporary crutch but hinder building on better self management skills and don't change material conditions. Not that I'm against drugs, im not.

>It is futile to beg for mercy from the abusers and enablers.exemplified in this video. A person suffering from multiple sclerosis sending a message out to the Bulgarian community, begging to be given access to cannabis for relief from his pain.
His message went ignored, completely.
>>2193947A few opportunistic NGO shits ran a really weak campaign in favor of cannabis and other drugs (split from the Promena / ะัะพะผัฃะฝะฐ movement), they accomplished nothing. They lost the information war, WOD propaganda took over and reinforced the status quo. The WOD in Bulgaria generally continues until either it is forced to stop by the powers that be (US policy changes, UNDOC, EU laws) and have the bourgeoisie state be forced to comply by exporting their policies OR the reactionary attitudes are curb stomped and a movement is born to threaten the mafia with violence. The latter is as much of a possibility as is class struggle mobilizing the workers. The first scenario is more likely, but in both scenarios it will probably take decades.
It will take awhile for history to repeat what occurred in the US with the birth of the hippie movement, although its unknown if that will follow the same route here, even then, the US has not ended its own war on drugs completely either.

I'm sure I'm revealing a bunch of personal details but fuck it, I'm just a buyer, and I'm really not worried about the government kicking my door down for Viagra and Adderall.
My mom (retired recently) worked for the US Attorney's office and DEA. While all she did was clerical work, organizing conferences and sending out emails I've spent enough time around her coworkers, friends and peers. Being inside the DEA office and how they actually operate, they are so detached from what they actually do and the human beings involved in their line of work.
They look at all of us like criminals, black and white, there's no grey area for them. Most of them are older, ignorant white people just working a 9-5 for a Goverment paycheck.
I recall a conversation with my Mom and her Boss, I went to go pick her up from work because her car was getting work done. The conversation led to Darknet/drugs Dream Market was just taken down, her boss said "These kids keep dying from drugs and every time the FBI seizes a SilkRoad or a Dream Market another 2 pop up!"
I tried to explain "You do realize, that when markets go down and everyone moves to new ones, scam artists with new accounts sell fake pills or fent laced presses to people as they try to shop for a new vendors. If the same markets continued on without exit scams the community would out the vendors that are putting people in the hospital and we could protect ourselves by self regulating"
This guy just smiled like an idiot and said "Or maybe they just shouldn't try to buy and sell illegal drugs." My mom also cussed me out in the car for being "A stupid asshole.:
Bottom line, the people we fight against are old, ignorant, and they don't know how to use computers. They make busts on our Opsec mistakes, and they ignore the small fish.
They think of us all as criminals, don't try to argue or reason with them, they are idiots. Just outsmart them like we always have.

What I gathered from that story is that DEA agents, soberites and conservative elderly people are subhumans that should be in concentration camps. GAS FOREVER. Every time I learn those subhumans exist I have to call for their extermination. DEATH TO WODIGGERS WORLDWIDE!

I don't think I mentioned, but I heard on the news they want to implement religious class (Christian / theology indoctrination) into the school curriculum.
https://www.actualno.com/education/vyvejdat-zadyljitelen-chas-po-religija-v-uchilishtata-news_2408209.htmlSchools have also focused on teaching anticommunist propaganda. Now even russophobic propaganda - removing or cutting references & articles to Russia in school books and replacing them with references & articles to Ukraine. Rightoid self-proclaimed russophilic figures and politicians like Volen Siderov and have rightfully pointed this out.
The school curriculum of course once again shows that it has no intention of promoting education and study of sciences but instead reactionary indoctrination and fearmongering. There isn't much to say about it. The main publisher behind the schoolbooks "Prosveta" / "ะัะพัะฒะตัะฐ" is notorious for falsifying history. An example can be a schoolbook on modern history with 2 pages dedicated to the history of the People's Republic of Bulgaria, containing slander about the political repressions and 10 pages about the pro-democracy movement SDS.
WOD propaganda in Zimbabwe from an NGO "Heal Us Zimbabwe"
https://www.facebook.com/p/Heal-Us-Zimbabwe-100083299579176/?locale=sl_SIhttps://www.chronicle.co.zw/spiritual-inspiration-spurs-the-fight-against-drug-and-substance-abuse/Medical cannabis with a license is apparently legal, but recreational use or possession otherwise is punishable by 12 years in jail apparently.
The consequences of being colonized by Christian trash. It's really strange that de-colonization does not follow through with de-Christianization. Then again, this retardation and repression might be the byproduct of UN, ZUNDAF - thereby UNODC. That makes more sense to be told to rally behind "DRUGS IS BAD, WEED IS DEATH" with banners that look a tad bit too professional for Zimbabwe's standard of graphic design in general because they are given aid (be it monetary or otherwise food and consumables).

One thing I should add, I've changed my stance on legalization a bit from the first thread that was on siberia to - if it happens so be it. Until then, I've decided on adapting abstentionism. It's not like I was ever going to vote, but altogether I'm not going to attend demonstrations / rallies either, I only intend to criticize the war on drugs and its agents that imprison, abuse and ostracize the responsible drug users.
That is, fighting the information war. I don't expect much. The WOD media propaganda outlets have more voice than there are ears, though it might be worthy documenting and agitating against all of this.
I may not do it under a nametag as it seems more and more inconvenient, since its easier for agitators to pick up the worthless name and write uncharacteristic drivel, but it is not a name unless one makes it a name, a descriptor at best, there can be more than one who identify under the descriptor of "WEEDLESS BULGARIAN". But it isn't something to rally behind. The only reasoning behind it is to demonstrate how far US and UNODC policy has reached, or the general reactionary sentiment depriving persons of their desire. One can choose to identify as "WEEDLESS CROAT", or "WEEDLESS TURKMENI" for all they care, it's not an endorsement of sobriety, but a resentment towards it, one that denotes how most of the land that comes with its laws has put the depressive and the aspiring creative types in a chokehold, the extent of which - places that can hardly be changed in a lifetime.
There was a news segment this morning, on BNT (the Bourgeoisie National TV outlet) I can't find clips of it online but it was the same vague shit from the "#DONTBREATHEDEATH" campaign, they brought a "doctor" bitch to talk about vapes then psychoactive drugs from the "think of the children" perspective of course grossly neglecting the pig misconduct and the arrests of responsible adult drug users. I didn't bother watching it until the end because I had work to do.
Most of these segments are in their morning show ironically called "100% ะัะดะฝะธ" or "100% Woke". Not even hiding the liberast character of it.
Nothing new under the sun.
Many such segments:

Various NGOs, as well as state institutions, suggest that drunk and drugged drivers are the main culprits for road injuries (in the so called "war on the roads") in Bulgaria. In reality, 98 percent of all road accidents, victims and injured people have nothing to do with the use of alcohol or psychotropic substances. Or to put it another way - if for a year no one gets behind the wheel drugged or drunk, we will save 12 people. So far so good. But we will still lose about 600.
A thread from the shitty NGO's page V
One bulgarian's comment on a recent tragedy surrounding news of a road accident:
Good evening.
Another child is gone. Another human destiny has been broken in another traffic accident. As vulgar as it may sound to you, ladies and gentlemen, the 12 year old Siyana is a figure that will stand alongside many others published in the NSI's statistical information on road traffic injuries in Bulgariaโฆ
I'm tired of writing and talking about the mortality rate on our roads. I'm tired of repeating the same thing, even though the facts and statistics are eye-popping.
Various NGOs, as well as state institutions, suggest that drunk and drugged drivers are the main culprits for road injuries in Bulgaria. In reality, 98 percent of all road accidents, victims and injured people have nothing to do with the use of alcohol or psychotropic substances. Or to put it another way - if for a year no one gets behind the wheel drugged or drunk, we will save 12 people. So far so good. But we will still lose about 600.
Do you know why it is convenient to use drugged and drunk drivers as the biggest culprits for road accidents in Bulgaria? Because they can be pointed at. Because there is a specific perpetrator. With a face, with a unique civil registration number. The people's anger will rightfully be poured out on them. And these people have no excuse.
But for the 600 deaths on Bulgarian roads every year, there are no specific culprits. This responsibility is blurred beyond recognition. It has no face and no personal identification number. It only has a name - "CORRUPTION".
Many people believe that corruption is nothing more than a bunch of bullshit. But the word "CORRUPTION" goes far beyond bribery. It means failure - failure of statehood, failure of institutions, failure of those who are supposed to create and enforce laws that save lives. It is the reason lawlessness reigns.
From another bulgarian a reply to the comment:
It's easy to talk and complain, if that's how the problem was solved, great. I don't even know why this page exists. For entertainment? Or to fight for our rights? We're gathered here like old ladies to comment for no reason.. There are 25,000 thousand mice (nobodies) on this page.
Another reply to that follows from another bulgarian:
Many times in the comments I write to start gathering and going out. I write here, in Liberty420 (NOTE: Niche right wing lolbert org splitter from the "Promena" / Change movement) , even on gdbop (NOTE: the ministry of defense) I spam FREEDOM FOR HEMP. I wrote to bgelves (NOTE: shitty liberal civil movement), I wrote to a bunch of other people and organizations for support for these protests.
On the other hand, not once have you responded, not once have you taken the initiative to motivate others with me or even to start it yourself - and by blaming others and making them angry, we will not help the cause.
Come on then - let's start organizing them, not harnessing "a sneered scoundrel to a scoundrel".
The conclusion is apparent, some of the libtards don't want to organize with their reformist leeches while a few still cling onto the view that activism isn't futile.
Though what the fuck do they think they will accomplish with this? Sending messages to the ministry of defense with "FREEDOM FOR CANNABIS" and going out to protest, why do they think that this MAFIA as they've been calling it will just step down out of kindness?
