>>2363311Trump Vowed to Dismantle MS-13. His Deal With Bukele Threatens That Effort.
>Top gang leaders being sent back to El Salvador were part of a lengthy federal investigation that has amassed evidence of a corrupt pact between the Bukele government and MS-13.U.S. prosecutors have amassed substantial evidence of a corrupt pact between the Salvadoran government and some high-ranking MS-13 leaders, who they say agreed to drive down violence and bolster Mr. Bukele politically in exchange for cash and perks in jail, a New York Times investigation found.
In his first term, Mr. Trump established a group of prosecutors and investigators known as Task Force Vulcan that brought expansive cases against the gang’s leadership. Some who were part of that effort are now alarmed by the deal with Mr. Bukele, and worry that he wants the gang leaders back to prevent them from revealing damaging information about his government.
The Times investigation found that U.S. officials have had strong indications for years of the troubling relationship between the Bukele administration and MS-13 and its leaders — and had begun scrutinizing Mr. Bukele himself. The findings are based on government documents and interviews with more than 30 people who have knowledge of the Vulcan inquiry or the U.S.-El Salvador relationship, many of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe the ongoing federal investigation.
The first Trump administration received a warning about the secret pact as early as August 2020 from a top Salvadoran official who showed up at the United States Embassy in San Salvador to share information.
The following year, the Treasury Department imposed sanctions on that same official and another top Bukele aide after determining they had offered MS-13 leaders money, mobile phones and prostitutes in jail in exchange for their help bringing down the homicide rate and securing votes.
Federal investigators were examining whether some U.S. aid provided to El Salvador was being illicitly funneled to benefit MS-13.
At one point, a gang leader ordered the assassination of an F.B.I. agent working on the case in El Salvador, to stymie the investigation. The agent and his family had to leave the country.
Federal investigators had begun looking at Mr. Bukele’s activities, taking steps to request a review of his bank records to examine possible misappropriation of U.S. funds, according to Christopher Musto, a task force member at the time. ProPublica previously reported some aspects of the case, including the focus on Mr. Bukele.

Ben Shapiro: The Zohran Mamdani revolution
They did it. They finally did it. Those maniacs. They blew it up.
As New Yorkers walk dazed through the streets of the world's greatest city, seeking perhaps the half-buried Statue of Liberty lying beneath the silent sands of a deserted beach in the Forbidden Zone, one thing has become clear: The young revolutionaries of the Democratic Party are ready to take control of their party's future. And there's hardly anyone left to stop them.
Mamdani regularly hits the highlights of the so-called left-wing omnicause: He's a radical antisemite who calls for the disestablishment of the State of Israel as a Jewish state while vowing to arrest the prime minister; he's sympathetic to a bevy of terrorists throughout the Middle East, so long as they oppose Israel
It serves the Democratic Party right. For years, they've strung along the hopes and aspirations of the Bernie Sanders wing, and now they're paying the price: After Sanders narrowly lost the 2016 Democratic nomination for president to Hillary Clinton and then was deprived of the 2020 Democratic nomination by Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) and other more traditional Democrats, young Democrats have rallied to Sanders' cause. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who campaigns with Sanders to "fight oligopoly," is currently the Democratic front-runner for the 2028 nomination, despite the machinations of more typical Democrats like California Gov. Gavin Newsom or Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
And those typical Democrats don't know what to do. They're stuck between praising the supposed ardor and sincerity of the Bernie socialists, and condemning them for their radicalism. Do the former, and they may continue to lose steam with normal Americans who aren't eager to build Moscow on the Hudson; do the latter, and they may lose the white, college-educated base they've cultivated; do the latter.
They're stuck. And they deserve to be stuck.
But that doesn't mean they can't win.
And herein lies the problem for America. Americans should want two major parties that at least live within earshot of reality. That's because, effectively, we're a two-party system, which means that any major party nominee has at least a 40% chance of becoming president — no matter how insane. It's why Republicans should have wanted Joe Biden to stop Bernie Sanders in 2020, even if it meant a higher likelihood of President Donald Trump being defeated — because a Sanders presidency would have been exponentially more dangerous than a Biden presidency. Republicans shouldn't root for Democrats to fly off the cliffs of reality like Thelma and Louise. Because they might just take America with them.
Mamdani's victory shows that Democrats seem to be careening toward those cliffs at full speed.
Youtube started playing this next. This will be the next thread theme. God I love America. No country will ever compare.
Hey there, people, I'm Bobby Brown
They say I'm the cutest boy in town
My car is fast, my teeth is shiney
I tell all the girls they can kiss my heinie
Here I am at a famous school
I'm dressin' sharp and I'm actin' cool
I got a cheerleader here wants to help with my paper
I'll let her do all the work 'n' maybe later I'll rape her
Oh God I am the American dream
I do not think I'm too extreme
An' I'm a handsome sonofabitch
I'm gonna get a good job 'n' be real rich
Get a good, get a good, get a good, get a good job…
Women's Liberation
Came creepin' all across the nation
I tell you people, I was not ready
When I fucked this dyke by the name of Freddie
She made a little speech then,
Aw, she tried to make me say when
She had my balls in a vice, but she left my dick
I guess it's still hooked on, but now it shoots too quick
Oh God I am the American dream,
But now I smell like Vaseline
An' I'm a miserable sonofabitch
Am I a boy or a lady…I don't know which
I wonder…wonder…wonder…wonder…
So I went out 'n' bought me a leisure suit
I jingle my change, but I'm still kinda cute
Got a job doin' radio promo
An' none of the jocks can even tell I'm a homo
Eventually me 'n' a friend
Sorta drifted along into S&M
I can take about an hour on the tower of power
'Long as I gets a little golden shower
Oh God I am the American Dream
With a spindle up my butt till it makes me scream
An' I'll do anything to get ahead
I lay awake nights saying "Thank you Fred"
Oh God, Oh God, I'm so fantastic!
Thanks to Freddie, I'm a sexual spastic
And my name is Bobby Brown
Watch me now, I'm going down
And my name is Bobby Brown
Watch me now, I'm going down
And my name is Bobby Brown
Watch me now, I'm going down
And my name is Bobby Brown
Watch me now, I'm going down
I knew you'd be surprised…

(USER WAS WARNED FOR THIS POST) “Sen. Schumer condemns the phrase ‘Globalize the Intifada’ and believes it should not be used because it has such dangerous implications. As Senator Schumer said after the death of Karen Diamond, the attack in Boulder continues to serve as a grave reminder of the deadly consequences of the rise in antisemitism,” a spokesperson for Schumer told JI.
“I don’t know what [Mamdani’s] position is on it, but I certainly think that the call to spread the intifada is the kind of incitement that can lead to extremist violence,” Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) told JI.
Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV) said calls to globalize the intifada must be condemned.
“At a time when antisemitism is rising at alarming rates in the U.S., leaders of both parties have an obligation to stand up, speak clearly, and unequivocally condemn hatred and bigotry in every form,” Rosen said in a statement to JI. “The intifadas were periods marked by unspeakable violence and terror against innocent Israelis, and it should not be a difficult decision for anyone to condemn the antisemitic call to globalize these violent attacks. Our words matter — and in moments like this, silence is not an option.”
“I’m not a member of the Jewish community or a NYC voter. Personally, I would never use or defend this deeply troubling phrase,” Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) said in a statement to JI.
Some other Senate Democrats declined to comment or said they hadn’t been following Mamdani’s remarks.
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), who thus far has declined to endorse Mamdani, said in response to a listener call on WNYC last week that constituents she has spoken to are “alarmed” by Mamdani’s past comments.
“They are alarmed by past public statements. They are alarmed by past positions, particularly references to global jihad,” Gillibrand said. “This is a very serious issue because people that glorify the slaughter of Jews create fear in our communities. The global intifada is a statement that means ‘destroy Israel and kill all the Jews.’”
She emphasized that Mamdani needs to understand and accept that “globalize the intifada” is viewed by the Jewish community as, inherently, a call for violence against Jews.
“It doesn’t matter what meaning you have in your brain,” Gillibrand said, when pressed on Mamdani’s claims that he does not view the statement as a call for violence. “It is not how the word is received. When you use a word like ‘intifada’ to many Jewish Americans and Jewish New Yorkers, that means you are permissive for violence against Jews.”
“It is a harmful, hurtful, inappropriate word for anyone who wants to represent a city as diverse as New York City with 8 million people, and I would be very specific in these words, and I would say, ‘You may not use them again if you expect to represent everyone ever again because they are received as hateful and divisive and harmful, and that’s it,’” she continued.
She said that Mamdani, if elected, will “need to assure all New Yorkers that he will protect all Jews and protect houses of worship and protect funding for not-for-profits that meet the needs of these communities.”
She said she had spoken to Mamdani about Jewish community security issues last week, and said that he “agreed to work with me on this and to protect all residents. … I will work with him when he gets elected, if he gets elected, to make sure everyone is protected.”
Speaking on CNN on Monday, Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY) called the intifada slogan “deeply offensive” and said that “every elected official, without exception, should condemn it.”
Torres said that condemning the language was not the same as criminalizing it, responding to Mamdani’s own comments saying he did not believe he should “police” speech: “No one‘s advocating for imprisonment. I mean, every elected official has an obligation to condemn hatred, whether it‘s antisemitism or Islamophobia,” the New York congressman said.
https://jewishinsider.com/2025/07/senate-democrats-globalize-the-intifada-slogan-mamdani/>>2364818https://x.com/lisamurkowski/status/1940124362625175934This was one of the hardest votes I have taken during my time in the Senate.
My goal throughout the reconciliation process has been to make a bad bill better for Alaska, and in many ways, we have done that. In addition to extending pro-growth tax cuts, a larger child tax credit, and no tax on tips or overtime, we made a historic investment and modernization of the Coast Guard; enhanced our border security and national defense; funded aviation safety, including AWOS/VWOS systems that will save lives; and provided tax-exempt status for the Community Development Quota Program to help western Alaska communities establish a sustainable economy, among other provisions.
We have advanced new opportunities for resource development in the NPR-A, the Coastal Plain, and Cook Inlet that will help us create jobs and increase the share of revenues our state receives. I also co-led the Senate effort to restore a slightly longer phase-out for wind and solar tax credits while deleting a punitive excise tax targeting them.
Those provisions will benefit our economy, but it is the people of Alaska that I worry about the most, especially when it comes to the potential loss of social safety net programs—Medicaid coverage and SNAP benefits—that our most vulnerable populations rely on.
To address the bill’s shortcomings, we have helped our communities through a $50 billion rural health fund. This will mean hundreds of millions of dollars for Alaska hospitals, community health centers, and other providers. We secured commitments from the CMS Administrator to continue to address longstanding priorities which will directly help Bartlett, Fairbanks Memorial, Central Peninsula, and other hospitals in Alaska.
In the SNAP program, we have added tribal exemptions for work requirements, delayed cost-share penalties to help Alaska get benefits to the people who need them, and included work requirement waivers that align with our Medicaid policies. We also secured commitments from the Secretary of Agriculture to provide additional flexibilities to Alaska for SNAP.
But, let’s not kid ourselves. This has been an awful process—a frantic rush to meet an artificial deadline that has tested every limit of this institution. While we have worked to improve the present bill for Alaska, it is not good enough for the rest of our nation—and we all know it.
My sincere hope is that this is not the final product. This bill needs more work across chambers and is not ready for the President’s desk. We need to work together to get this right.
>>2364918Because the contradictions would be far too many to overlook, as they have overthrown "dictatorships" only to be outed as one, they would be submitting to uncensored Darwinian doctrine thus shattering the public perception outside the hardcore supporters and provoking resistance. It should enter into fascism as fascism is capital in crisis, fascism is actually good unironically because it could potentially mean a collapse or in some cases just a relapse into generic liberal democracy (as seen in Spain).
However the power vacuum of a collapse would not allow a relapse for the US, instead it would be torn apart by the rising East.
Antifascism is the most counterproductive shit there is, because it comes in defense of liberal democracy. Unironically EMBRACE a fascist US so it can collapse FASTER.

https://www.mediaite.com/media/tv/adl-ceo-jonathan-greenblatt-says-zohran-mamdani-doesnt-get-to-pick-and-choose-which-jewish-people-he-talks-to-he-needs-to-come-to-us/I want to hear the plans from all the candidates, not just Mamdani, but considering his past– He was a student organizer for a group called Students for Justice in Palestine. They’re the ones who led the systematic marginalization, targeting Jews on college campuses over the last year and a half. And so when Mr. Mamdani shows up and says– Again, I think this is a very important point, Katty. He doesn’t get to pick and choose which Jewish people he talks to. He needs to come to us. He needs to meet us where we are. If he could do that, he would allay a lot of concern.
He went to meet black people in Harlem on their own terms. I think what Jewish people would want to see is where the candidate goes to meet mainstream Jewish people in a mainstream synagogue or in a mainstream setting and simply says with the same clarity that he brought this weekend – where he met, again, black people where they are – and simply said to Jewish people, “I hear you and here is my plan to protect Jewish New Yorkers.” Not to fund, you know, more hate crimes enforcement for everyone. That should be a given. But, “Here’s why I understand what you are telling me, as a community, I need, and here is why I, as your mayor, will do certain things.”

"The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by two graves and said, 'They are being punished, but they are not being punished for something that was difficult to avoid. One of them used not to protect himself from his urine, and the other used to walk about spreading slander.'"
— Sahih al-Bukhari 216, Sahih Muslim 292
While this hadith focuses on carelessness with cleanliness after urination, there's also a narration (though weaker and debated in authenticity) that discourages speaking while relieving oneself:
"Let none of you urinate and talk, for Allah detests that."
— This narration appears in some collections but is considered weak by many scholars.

>>2365320Ehhhh I'm not sure if I'd use the phrase "Third Worldist Nazism" because I'd say third-worldism is predicated on deifying the "third world" and despising the "first world" and a lot of these Nazis broadly were determined to seize power in their native countries or would see it as a pragmatic way of defeating "The Jews". Casapound similarly had ties to Hezbollah (which I think they later abandoned for a more pro-Israel line during the syrian refugee crisis) and praised Castro and Che as national revolutionaries. Yockey compared Nasser and Castro to Adolf Hitler approvingly and said they were going to lead their respective races to a new golden age.
I think there's a pretty clear self-interest there. By contrast I'd define left-wing third worldism as defined by a deep loathing and hatred of what surrounds them. Whereas the "third worldist fascist" says "I'm a nationalist, they're a different kind of nationalist, we can see if our goals align" the left wing third worldist basically just wants his country nuked into oblivion. He tolerates the most extreme excesses of nationalism so long as it's from the third world and only proposes revolutionary suicide for the first world. I think it's two radically different worldviews at their base, even if they have superficial similarities.
