A former FBI agent accused of egging on rioters to attack police during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol is now serving in the Justice Department as part of the so-called "Weaponization Working Group," sources familiar with the appointment confirmed to ABC News.
Jared Wise was on trial when he was pardoned as part of President Donald Trump's sweeping series of pardons and commutations for nearly all of the more than 1,500 individuals charged in connection with the Capitol attack.
According to sources, Wise is now serving in the department as an investigator and counselor to Ed Martin, the former interim D.C. U.S. Attorney, whose permanent nomination to the post was rejected by Republican senators concerned over his past vocal advocacy for Jan. 6 rioters and other controversial actions he took in Trump's first four months in office.
Wise was charged in May 2023 and later indicted, with prosecutors pointing to videos showing him yelling "Kill 'em!" repeatedly as rioters attacked police outside of the Capitol building. He also allegedly entered the building for roughly nine minutes and then continued shouting at police.
“You guys are disgusting," Wise allegedly said in body camera footage recorded by law enforcement. "I’m former law enforcement. You’re disgusting. You are the Nazi. You are the Gestapo. You can’t see it. . . . Shame on you! Shame on you! Shame on you!”

The director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency on Wednesday called on Congress to investigate and potentially remove Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell over his testimony about renovations to the Fed's headquarters.
Why it matters: It is an unusual— and rare — move for a top administration official, one that shows how far the White House is willing to go to pressure the central bank leader, who has resisted relentless demands to cut rates.
The administration wants to be rid of Powell, with President Trump saying last week he plans to appoint a Fed chair who will do as he wants on rate policy.

Disgruntled Republicans sick of being bullied by Donald Trump and Democrat centrists imperiled by the Left are secretly having conversations about forming a third party in American politics, The Swamp can exclusively reveal.
The idea of a third major force in Washington is hardly new, but The Swamp understands that some “serious” names are involved and, if agreement can be reached, they believe it could transform the face of U.S. politics. The names involved are said to be of “national significance,” although they have not necessarily all decided to break away from the two-party structure. The talks are continuing in private.
“The Republican Party, as many of us know it, no longer exists,” said one source, who asked not to be named. “We do not recognize ourselves anymore in Trump’s administration. There is a strong movement out there in the party to reclaim the values we were raised on and reclaim the middle ground.”
A Democratic Party insider also confirmed to The Swamp that there had been some cross-party discussions. The talks began before progressive Zohran Mamdani’s shockingly decisive win over former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the New York mayoral Democratic primary, but the implications of the result hardened the resolve of some members to make big changes.

Ron DeSantis claims Mamdani makes ‘de Blasio look like Ronald Reagan’
This guy makes de Blasio look like Ronald Reagan,” DeSantis said Tuesday on Fox News’s Hannity. “I think this guy’s policies, soup to nuts, are probably the most radical left that I have ever seen of a major party candidate in a big jurisdiction.”
“I remember when de Blasio was mayor, particularly during COVID, it sparked an absolute flow out of New York City, and yes, many into Florida,” DeSantis said. “I’m telling you, I think I’ll have to charge an entry tax or something because of this guy, because I don’t know if we’ll be able to absorb everyone that’s going to flee his poor rule if he gets in.”
DeSantis said he has spoken privately with business leaders who are “preparing to move more of their assets out of New York City if [Mamdani] eventually gets elected mayor.”

https://www.mediamatters.org/benny-johnson/benny-johnson-zohran-mamdani-trump-told-me-yesterday-hes-just-gonna-put-him-jailCHARLIE KIRK (HOST): And so, Benny, kinda taking a step back here and covering socialism for quite some time, what is the driving force of Mamdani and how do we defeat him?
BENNY JOHNSON (GUEST): Yeah. Well, Trump told me yesterday he's just gonna put him in jail. So there's that. But that's because Mamdani is proposing multiple policies that are patently illegal. Mamdani wants to tax people based on their skin color. He says so, and he doubled down on that, Charlie, in fact, this weekend, saying that white people in New York need to pay more taxes. That's something that obviously drew a rebuke from the Trump Justice Department, but President Trump told me yesterday when I asked him about Mamdani that he's going to be facing serious federal threats for stopping ICE enforcement in the city of New York. This is what he promised to do when he won in his nomination speech last week. So how do you stop him? I'm not sure. And it begs the question, Charlie, that I don't know the answer to, which is, do we let our great American cities fail? Do we give them what they want? Democracy, of course, is the people know what they want, and they deserve to get it good and hard. So do we give New Yorkers the communism that they wish to live under? Is that the only way to learn? I don't know the answer to that question.

GOP Rep Calls For Zohran Mamdani To Be Denaturalized, Deported Over Old Rap Lyric
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/gop-rep-calls-for-zohran-mamdani-to-be-denaturalized-deported-over-old-rap-lyric/ar-AA1HvafROgles, in his Thursday statement on X, asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate Mamdani’s 2017 song, “Salaam,” alleging that one of his lyrics amounted to an endorsement of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, a group whose leaders were convicted of helping fund the militant group Hamas. The heads of the Holy Land Foundation had argued that the organization was providing legitimate humanitarian aid to Palestinians.
Ogles claims that Mamdani’s lyric — “Free the Holy Land Five / My Guys” — should prompt an inquiry into “affiliations or sympathies” of his that were not disclosed during his naturalization process.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to ask former U.S. President Donald Trump, during his visit to Washington, to apply direct pressure on Qatar. The goal: that Qatar threaten Hamas leaders with expulsion if a hostage deal is not finalized soon and Hamas positions do not become more flexible. This is reported by Yaron Abraham, Channel 12 News journalist.
In discussions held in recent days, the issue of the "preferential treatment" enjoyed by Hamas leaders living outside the Gaza Strip has come up again. Senior figures in Israel's political-security leadership believe that the only way to lead Hamas to real flexibility is through pressure and sanctions on them, specifically on one of Hamas's external leaders.
"Hamas leaders are moving around the world and feel there is no pressure on them, so they are not rushing to make a deal," said those same security sources.

Medicaid cuts in Trump's 'big beautiful bill' will leave millions uninsured, threaten rural hospitals
Recent changes to the bill would cut roughly $1.1 trillion in health-care spending and result in 11.8 million people losing health insurance over the next decade, according to estimates from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.

Mr Trump alleged the interview with Ms Harris was edited to tip the scales in favour of her Democratic Party.
The settlement comes as Paramount seeks government approval for a multi-billion-dollar merger, prompting a US senator to call for a bribery investigation.
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-07-03/paramount-settles-lawsuit-with-donald-trump/105488556WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has instructed his top Cabinet officers to review U.S. policy toward Cuba, ordering them to examine current sanctions and come up with ways to toughen them within 30 days.
In a memo Monday, Trump said the reviews should focus on Cuba’s treatment of dissidents, its policies directed at dissidents and restricting financial transactions that “disproportionately benefit the Cuban government, military, intelligence, or security agencies at the expense of the Cuban people.”
In one potential significant change, the order said the U.S. should look for ways to shut down all tourism to the island and to restrict educational tours to groups that are organized and run only by American citizens.
https://apnews.com/article/cuba-trump-sanctions-tourism-7bed181aaa4ad379f921635e5a521738>>2366415In Cuba, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez responded swiftly to the document.
“The Presidential Memorandum vs #Cuba released today by the US government strengthens the aggression & economic blockade that punishes the whole Cuban people and is the main obstacle to our development,” he wrote on X. “It’s a criminal behavior that violates the #HumanRights of an entire nation.”
The Trump administration also has made Cuba one of seven countries facing heightened restrictions on visitors and revoked temporary legal protections for about 300,000 Cubans, which had protected them from deportation.
The administration also has announced visa restrictions on Cuban and foreign government officials involved in Cuba’s medical missions, which Secretary of State Marco Rubio has called “forced labor.”
In an interview with The Associated Press this month, Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernandez de Cossio accused the United States of trying to discredit the medical missions and criticized reversal of policy welcoming Cubans to the U.S.
Rubio, whose family left Cuba in the 1950s before the communist revolution that brought Fidel Castro to power, has long been a proponent of sanctions on the communist island.

Tom Homan downplays deaths in ICE detention centers as numbers grow
According to ICE data, Perez’s death appears to bring the total number of reported deaths in ICE detention to 12 since the beginning of fiscal year 2025, which began last October. Including Noviello and Perez, nine deaths have occurred in ICE facilities during Trump’s second term. According to The Guardian, “under the past three administrations, the worst year saw 12 deaths in ICE custody. If the current pace continues, the total for 2025 could double those numbers.”
Nonetheless, Homan seemed unbothered when asked about Perez’s death.
“I’m unaware of that, I’m not aware of that. I mean, people die in ICE custody, people die in county jail, people die in state prisons,” he said. I’d
Homan went on to claim ICE is actually saving lives. “The question should be, how many lives does ICE save? Because when they go in detention, we find many with diseases and stuff that we deal with right away to prevent that,” he claimed, going on to argue that that “we have the highest detention standards in the industry.”
https://www.msnbc.com/top-stories/latest/ice-deaths-detention-centers-tom-homan-rcna216247As the Senate closed out its marathon session of amendment votes on Republicans’ budget bill, the so-called Big Beautiful Bill, it added back a provision fought for by Orthodox Jewish groups, creating a major new national school-choice program, which had been stripped from the bill days earlier.
The program, known as the Educational Choice for Children Act, passed through the House but was ultimately struck from the bill by a ruling of the Senate parliamentarian, a nonpartisan official responsible for ruling on whether provisions meet the standards for a reconciliation bill, which is limited to certain budgetary and tax matters.
The ECCA would create a tax credit for individuals who donate to scholarship programs for children that can be used for a variety of different purposes, including religious schooling. The latest version of the program included in the Senate bill allows individual states to opt into the program and approve the specific scholarship programs eligible to receive the money in that state, rather than automatically instituting the program nationwide.
It also removes the total nationwide cap on the program, but lowers the individual contribution cap to $1,700 per taxpayer.
Nathan Diament, the executive director of public policy for the Orthodox Union, said that Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Tim Scott (R-SC) and Bill Cassidy (R-LA) had been negotiating with the parliamentarian since her initial ruling late last week to revise the legislation to address her objections.
“This really is historic,” Diament told Jewish Insider. “This is unquestionably the single largest federal school choice program ever passed. It’s been a long time coming. … It’s going to be helpful to countless numbers of families.”
https://jewishinsider.com/2025/07/senate-school-choice-scholarship-program-budget-bill/>>2366405>But how is this practical from an imperialist perspectiveIt isn't and it goes far beyond the cruelty needed to appease the base. People say, it's because they are preparing for the climate mass migrations, but really the mass migrations are already here. The US has been promoting migration forever through foreign policy and Sudan and Rwanda/Congo wars are nothing if not proxy wars.
But you only want some amount of migration. The point is to take the labor to undermine your local workers with an underclass of migrants. And to "brain drain" the highly qualified workers after the place of origin has already invested in their training, or even subsidizing it yourself, as long as it enforces the underdevelopment of the periphery. But then the rest ought to stay or be deported. Otherwise who the fuck is gonna be borderline slave labor in their places of origin? So the crackdown is just more necessary the more shit they stirr in the periphery. And the more the cold war advances the more need for this stuff.
If you let too many migrants in, the imperialist measures that work through currency exchanges for example, become a problem. Because then the imperialized subjects get access to too much of your currency through remittances for example. Another thing the Trump admin is cracking down on.
Libertarian National Committee Chair Steven Nekhaila has a pitch for billionaire Elon Musk: Join us, and don’t fight the uphill battle of launching a third party.
“Making a new third party would be a mistake,” Nekhaila told Score on Tuesday. “The Libertarian Party is the most set-up party to be the dissident subversive party.”
Musk’s money would go a long way in advancing Libertarians. The national organization operates with a yearly budget of between $1 million and $3 million, Nekhaila said. Musk alone funneled more than $250 million into the 2024 election (mostly through his America PAC) to help catapult Trump to the presidency in November.
“Once the capital is there, the doors get blown wide open,” Nekhaila said.
Nekhaila has not heard from Musk directly, but he said the party is trying to break through to the billionaire, who has been showing continued support for one of the most Libertarian-leaning members of Congress: Kentucky Republican Rep. Thomas Massie.
So why exactly should Musk forgo his own effort and instead join with the Libertarians? To Nekhaila it’s pretty simple. They have ballot access in almost every state, which many recent third-party efforts have failed to secure.
“There’s no way an independent or a new party can actually do this,” he said. “It takes years and years and years, and the infrastructure and everything else. It’s not a fun process.”
The Libertarians are not alone in their effort to court Musk. No Labels, the political group that pushed for a centrist presidential ticket to avoid a rematch between Joe Biden and Donald Trump, is also interested in talking to Musk, said Dan Webb, a leader of the group.
“What he’s talking about is that partisanship in the two parties has created so many huge problems that the country isn’t working, as evidenced by what’s going on in Congress right now,” Webb said, adding that the group is “trying to find out a way to reach out to him and create a line of communication.”
While starting a new party is surely a tall order, if anyone could pull off such a feat, it would be Musk, who as the world’s richest man can pour just about unlimited resources behind the effort.
https://www.politico.com/news/2025/07/02/libertarian-chair-asks-elon-musk-to-join-them-00436172?nid=0000015a-dd3e-d536-a37b-dd7fd8af0000&nname=playbook-pm&nrid=55345c55-ecf3-4054-b9dc-fd60980e590f>>2366424>Because when they go in detention, we find many with diseases and stuff that we deal with right away to prevent thatin reality ICE detention centers have been terrible vectors for disease, especially during the peak pandemic years. They packed people like sardines, didn't give them baths, deprived them of sleep which fucks up your immune system, and yes regularly ignored people who needed medical help, which is how most of the deaths occurred.

Curtis Sliwa has a plan to beat Zohran Mamdani in NYC mayor’s race — and it starts with apologizing to Jews
Sliwa, a radio personality, has a long history of slurs and stereotypes, many aimed directly at Orthodox Jews
Curtis Sliwa said in an interview this week that apologizing is his strength to overcome his vulnerabilities with Jewish New Yorkers and defeat his Democratic rival.
The founder of the Guardian Angels volunteer safety patrol and longtime radio personality also said he’s not interested in the anti-antisemitism playbook deployed against Mamdani by both former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who came in second in the primary, and incumbent mayor Eric Adams. “Weaponized” identity politics turned out to be a dud, he said.
“Cuomo already dropped B-52 bombs on him that didn’t put a dent in him,” Sliwa said, referring to relentless attacks on Mamdani’s long record of anti-Zionism and strident criticism of Israel.
Dov Hikind, a former Brooklyn assemblyman and head of Americans Against Antisemitism, defended Sliwa. Hikind said he hosted Sliwa and his wife, Nancy, for Shabbat dinner last month and understood him to be describing “the sad reality we are all watching unfold in America and around the world with Jew hatred,” that Jews must ultimately rely on themselves. “The guy is not perfect,” he said. “I’m not going to say he’s 100%, but he’s pretty close.”
Sliwa is staying in the race, predicting that Cuomo will mount a late summer independent bid. He touts endorsements from top New York Republicans, including Reps. Elise Stefanik and Mike Lawler, who have called Mamdani “antisemitic.” Lawler and Stefanik are both considering running for governor next year and have used their congressional pulpits to make a priority of the fight against antisemitism, particularly on college campuses.
Sliwa, in his campaign, has expressed support for Israel. He said in the interview that Mamdani must explain his defense of the phrase “globalize the intifada.”
“You must never let up on that,” he said, referring to the phrase many Jews see as a call to violence. “But don’t think that and that alone will cripple him.”
In a 2021 interview with the Forward, Sliwa did not hesitate when asked to reveal his favorite Yiddish word. It was schmendrick, a term used to describe a pathetic or foolish person. “It is my favorite word I love to use many, many times to describe politicians that I have to listen to,” he said.

So NATO/EU are killing two birds with one stone here. By having a (mostly Zionist) right wing focus their energy and ideology on migration. They are grooming and normalizing a fascist movement that is pretty much 100% compatible with the rest of the liberals, including the mainstream "left" in economics. Differing mostly in the sort of social issues that are easily absorbed into the culture war and de-fanged. Their "escapegoat" is then safely narrowed to "the left".
And at the same time, they make sure that migration (which really is just another facet of globalization, a form of capital moving through borders) remains safely framed in liberal terms of harm or harm reduction. But rarely economics, beyond some rightoid screaming about their jobs being stolen, rather than say, criticizing liberalism.

Being secular would ultimately kill Zionism since it's a religious sect. >>2366459>no the early zionists like herzl were often atheists who didn't give a shit about going to synagogue, they just wanted a judenstaat because europe was too discriminatory. at the end of the day zionism is a european settler colonial project for a european minority that felt rejected by europe. the biblical bullshit is just window dressing.I agree that the religion isn't very important. A significant number of Israeli Jews today are completely non-religious, and an equal number in size to them are those who are about as religious as Christians who celebrate Christmas but don't go to church or read the Bible ever.
But Mamdani's view seems influenced by a kind of Mandela or MLK approach to things. Like yeah, you could say an Israel where Palestinians have equal rights (the right to vote for example) would still be a Jewish supremacist state founded on Apartheid principles and there's still an Israeli flag flying from the Knesset, but the Israelis really, really, REALLY don't want that to happen because they don't want a majority coalition forming that would vote all of that out of existence.
Mamdani says he supports Israel as a state with equal rights, and then some anon on leftypol can go "hurf blurf that means he's a Zionist." But Mamdani is being a bit clever because the Zionists don't have an easy answer to that. They bark that he hates the Jews because they don't want to outright say "well, it's a hardball world, and we want a Jewish majority state, and all these people living under military occupation can't have rights within that framework because it won't be a Jewish majority state anymore, so they're going to have to suck it."

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guardian_AngelsThe Guardian Angels is an American non-profit volunteer organization with the goal of unarmed crime prevention. The Guardian Angels organization was founded on February 14, 1979, in New York City, by Curtis Sliwa. Since then, it has expanded to more than 130 cities and 14 countries worldwide.[1]
Sliwa originally created the Guardian Angels to combat widespread violence and crime on the New York City Subway system. The organization originally trained members to make citizen's arrests for violent crimes. They patrolled streets and neighborhoods without involving police or any outside authority,[2] but also provided educational programs for schools and businesses.

https://freebeacon.com/campus/trump-administration-launches-civil-rights-probe-into-anti-semitism-at-george-mason-university/Trump Family’s Bitcoin Venture Targets Q3 Nasdaq Debut
The Trump-affiliated American Bitcoin Corp. is taking a major step toward its Nasdaq debut by pushing forward with a merger involving Gryphon Digital Mining. A recent SEC filing confirms that the two entities have amended their registration statement, positioning themselves for a public listing under the ticker symbol “ABTC.”
Backed in part by Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., American Bitcoin was launched earlier this year as a subsidiary of infrastructure and energy firm Hut 8. The company aims to consolidate and scale Bitcoin mining operations by leveraging an asset-light model and strategic infrastructure partnerships. CEO Matt Prusak, who previously worked in health tech, is leading the effort, with Eric Trump taking on the role of Chief Strategy Officer.
https://coindoo.com/trump-familys-bitcoin-venture-targets-q3-nasdaq-debut/>>2366492Short answer? Because it's depressing and if I give up on things ever getting better I have no reason not to kill myself
Longer answer? Because the contradictions in the "imperial core" are steadily rising and reaching a boiling point. Soon it will quite literally be a matter of survival for the majority of people to support the revolution in the face of a psychotic administration of proudly idiotic death cultists who have no higher calling in life but to kill "degenerates". And when push comes to shove, most people choose revolution before submitting themselves to such madness. It's not just that the system is "evil", it's that it's clearly broken and not even token efforts are being made to fill in the cracks. This administration is in the process of both destroying America and themselves for the sake of owning the libs, so while things absolutely look bleak right now revolutions have been fought and won under great odds before. Lenin was convinced he would never see the revolution in his lifetime just one year before Red October.
Keep working, keep organizing, keep low if you have to. Make connections with your community, try to join whatever major leftist groups are in your area, form one with yourself and your buddies if there aren't any. Create and disseminate propaganda, undermine the regime's credibility. Revolution in America is not going to be easy by any means, but if we all work together we might have a chance of seeing it through. If you dont believe in yourself, believe in the me who believes in the you who believes in communism.
>>2366460Long writeup:
They just brought another one of their candidates to city council, making 3 in total. Campaign was pretty strong, bunch of unions and community turn out in a poor part of town.
Non electoral activities they do:
A union organizing committee whose purpose is to basically educate potential union organizers.
Passing out supplies to homeless people
Holding small community meetups/"parties"
As for their make up, it seems like a grab bag of vaguely liberal people that are new to politics but aren't interested in the dems (the dems here usually win the city in presidential elections but lose the state, honestly the glowing no kings shit is probably the largest thing they've done in recent memory), dem socs, some communists. Several of their people I've talked to have their basic theory down (what is wage labor, how did it come to be, differences between capital great and small etc.)
So I guess if I had something to criticize them on it would be that they should work on getting people onboard that aren't necessarily "activists" because simply put, there's only so much work that the small pool of "activists" in this city can do across different organizations. Realistically, I think this will only come from one or both of these things:The union committee bearing fruit in the distribution centers and very low wage factories that have been popping up here like mushrooms.
Black Panther style filling of people's needs that manages to expand beyond the homeless people they're helping out now.
How Trump’s big bill could affect women, children and LGBTQ+ Americans
Medicaid
The Senate legislation would cut federal spending on Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) for low-income infants and children by more than $1 trillion over the next decade — an 18% larger cut than the House-approved version, according to Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
The federal-state Medicaid health insurance program covers more than 40% of all births in the country, and about 37% of those enrolled are children. Nationally, CHIP covers about 7 million children and several hundred thousand pregnant people.
the Senate parliamentarian approved a provision that would prevent Planned Parenthood and other reproductive health care clinics from receiving Medicaid reimbursements for the provision of non-abortion care.
The Senate bill would create new limits on Medicaid coverage for immigrants in the country legally. It would also require states to charge Medicaid recipients above the poverty line for co–payments for some health care.
Like the legislation approved by the House, the Senate package would cut Medicaid spending in part by imposing a strict 80-hours-a-month work requirement for adults without children or disabilities — this change must be implemented by the end of 2026, after the midterm elections, but states have the option of doing it sooner. Three million Americans enrolled in Medicaid report that they are unable to work due to caregiving responsibilities, according to an AARP analysis. The 19th has reported on how these stepped-up work requirements would disproportionately impact middle-aged and older women.
Like the package passed by House Republicans, the Senate version would require more SNAP recipients in their 50s and 60s to work and provide fewer exemptions for parents.
The proposal would lower the age at which work requirements end by a decade, to 54. Right now, parents with dependent children under 18 are exempt from working; the House bill lowered that age to 7 but the Senate version would only lower the age to 14.
Child tax credit
The Senate version tweaks a provision in the House-approved version that would require both of a child’s parents to have a Social Security number to access the credit, even if the child also has a Social Security number

President Donald Trump has added at least $620 million to his fortune in a matter of months through a series of cryptocurrency ventures, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index — a dramatic and fast-moving shift in how the president and his family are generating wealth
Much of that comes from World Liberty Financial, a blockchain platform that issues its own token and a stablecoin called USD1. Bloomberg estimates that $390 million of the $550 million in token sales has gone to the Trump family, who also hold 22.5 billion World Liberty-branded tokens.
Although those tokens are excluded from Trump’s net worth calculation due to current transfer restrictions, their market value in June exceeded $2 billion. The family recently reduced its stake in World Liberty from 60% to 40%.
The crypto haul “dwarfs the more than $34 million the Trump Organization reported taking in from real estate licensing deals last year,” Bloomberg reported.
Meanwhile, the Trump family’s largest real estate windfall in years came in January, when Trump National Doral won approval to build 1,500 luxury condos.
That pushed the valuation of the 600-acre Miami-area golf resort from $350 million to $1.5 billion, Bloomberg calculated.
Trump Media & Technology Group Corp., the parent of Truth Social, has also significantly impacted Trump’s balance sheet.
Today, Bloomberg values his stake at $2 billion. The company is now pivoting to finance and Bitcoin.
Hut 8 Corp., a Bitcoin miner, transferred most of its mining equipment to American Bitcoin in exchange for a majority stake. The Trumps and their partners own 20% of the business, which Bloomberg says is now valued at over $3 billion, despite its main asset having a book value of just $120 million.
Another sign of the Trumps’ deepening crypto ties is Eric Trump’s recent announcement that World Liberty Financial will acquire a “substantial position” in the Trump memecoin for its digital asset reserves.
Yet not all of the family’s ventures are fully visible. Bloomberg noted that several private efforts — including the members-only club Executive Branch in Washington, DC, and links to companies such as Metaplanet, Kalsh and BlinkRX — were not included in Trump’s net worth due to opaque financial disclosures.
Trump’s crypto gains are also reflected in official financial filings. His June 2025 disclosure lists more than $600 million in income from crypto-related activity and merchandise sales through the end of 2024.
The figures include $57.35 million from token sales at World Liberty Financial; $320 million in fees generated by the Trump memecoin (though it’s unclear how much went directly to Trump-controlled entities); over $400 million in decentralized finance activity involving World Liberty Financial and affiliated projects; and $1.16 million from NFT and digital card sales.
Forbes last month estimated that Trump’s total crypto-related gains could reach up to $1 billion, accounting for all token sales, fees, and future distributions. That figure includes both realized and unrealized gains and assumes Trump retains a large portion of proceeds from his various ventures.

Salmon, tribal sovereignty and energy collide as Trump admin abandons Resilient Columbia Basin Agreement
The move threatens treaty rights and salmon recovery as energy demands from AI and crypto surge
Earlier this month, the Trump administration pulled the federal government out of the Resilient Columbia Basin Agreement — a deal struck in 2023 by the Biden administration between two states and four Indigenous nations aimed at restoring salmon populations and paving a way to remove four hydroelectric dams along the river system. The move is likely to revive decades-old lawsuits and further endanger already struggling salmon populations.

>By the early 1970s, the governing faction of the Socialist Party continued to endorse a negotiated peace to end the Vietnam War, a stance that Harrington came to believe was no longer viable. The majority changed the organization's name to Social Democrats, USA. After losing at the convention, Harrington resigned and, with his former caucus, formed the Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee. (DSOC)so harrington founded DSOC, not DSA, however DSOC and NAM merged to form DSA. But NAM was anti-vietnam-war. So the idea that DSA was founded in support of the vietnam war is a dubious claim at best. one of the two orgs that merged to start DSA was, but the other was not. So… a bit dishonest with the history there, felix

Without that he would have been nothing and his previous forays into politics had been utter failures. He literally got kicked out of groups of proto-Nazis because he would not stop sperging out about the Jews, demanding for instance that the Volkish DSP immediately adopt the plank that "socialism is impossible without exterminating the Jews". Even when he was within the Nazi party, he was considered somewhere between a bad joke and an active offense. Goering forbade any of his underlings from reading any of Streicher's publications, Goebbles repeatedly tried to get Der Sturmer banned and considered it sensationalist trash, and it was also banned among the Hitler Youth. One of the most odious Nazis in history, and probably the first one to immediately call for the extermination of the Jews at every opportunity, just so happened to also be the guy that nobody even in the far right liked except one really important guy so everyone else had to tolerate him.

Their age group between 18 to 30 years old, they're young, they are aspiring, they have a lot of dreams, a lot of thinking in their mind, and a lot enthusiasm. They are not really thinking about the dirty politics of the establishment, they are thinking about something new."
>>2366670drugs are a very big problem and cartels do exist in the US, yes. but the biggest drug issue is opiods, which most people get hooked on through prescription painkillers that they eventually build up tolerance to and can no longer afford. heroin and especially fentanyl are cheaper for their potency, and the prescription painkillers create a market of addicts for them. cartels & cross-border drug trade is enabled FAR more by NAFTA in a few big ways, 1st of all undermining mexican agriculture & industry, immiserating mexicans and forcing many of them into migration and/or crime as a result. 2nd, NAFTA far increases the volume of cross border trade and eases the customs process, making smuggling easier
hopefully it doesnt even need to be said here that the vast majority of US hispanics in general and mexicans in particular are not involved in drug trade and/or cartels. the MAGA nativism is genuinely just whipping up reactionary sentiment to make immigration into a red-herring blamed for the rapidly declining quality of life of american workers. it also appeals to segments of the petit-bourgeois that employ undocumented immigrants because they want to keep their workforce precarious and without recourse to legal protection.
Trump taps 30-year-old with little government experience and links to Holocaust denier to lead federal agency
Paul Ingrassia, nominated by Trump in May to lead the Office of Special Counsel, has a history of racist language and promoting conspiracy theories, including denying the Holocaust
While Ingrassia has publicly shown support for notorious White nationalist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes, CNN found the two had a much deeper connection than previously known.
Ingrassia has shared comments from Fuentes on his personal social media pages in addition to accounts for his podcast, Right on Point. He also came to Fuentes’ defense when he was banned from X, arguing for his reinstatement in an April 2023 Substack post titled “Free Nick Fuentes.”
More recently, he was photographed attending a June 2024 rally in Detroit in support of Fuentes.
Both Fuentes and Ingrassia have criticized the conservative organization Turning Point USA for supposedly being too pro-Israel and insufficiently pro-White, according to the report.
Ingrassia became known as a pro-Trump commentator online as early as 2019, when he was just 24 years old. In addition to his connection to Fuentes, he has also publicly promoted conspiracy theories surrounding 9/11.
