>William Bonner (Jornal Nacional Anchor): This afternoon, correspondent Raquel Krahenbühl found the congressman-on-leave from the PL party, Eduardo Bolsonaro, near the White House in Washington. Eduardo said he was there at the invitation of American authorities for an update on the reactions in Brazil to the tariffs. The congressman-on-leave once again defended the 50% taxation of Brazilian products. He linked Trump's surcharge to decisions made by Justice Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Court, and expressed a personal opinion about a possible application of other sanctions by Donald Trump against Brazil. He called these measures "levers."
<Eduardo Bolsonaro: I don't speak on behalf of any authority. But, this way, it's very likely that Trump will also use, will pull other levers to respond to Brazil.
>Raquel Krahenbühl (Reporter): What other levers would those be? What… what are you hearing around here?
<Eduardo Bolsonaro: Well, that's entirely at his disposal, right? You have the Magnitsky Act, you have IAPA, you have the freezing of assets, you have visa cancellations. If you look, for example, at what Brazil did with… what the United States, right, ends up doing in relation to Russia, there are several other measures, but always in the sense of restricting access to the banking market, to the North American consumer market, to the global financial system. Anyway, nobody knows what will happen, because now everything depends, everything is in Trump's hands, right? He took this problem upon himself.https://xcancel.com/Rkrahenbuhl/status/1945625393081508233 >>2392129No instead he or kamela would or well could have maintained all of those global anti china intitivatives he and she started or maintained during the 2020s.
Whats great with trump is that hes exposing the usa for the world to see. while at the same time weakning it.
Biden or kamela could have prevented or at least delayed it
>>2392180You have that luxury. I can't find a job while the market's tanking, I've got student loans breathing down my neck, everything's getting more expensive.
How much time do I even have left?
>>2392200I think when Matt Christman was talking about The Turner Diaries vs Camp of The Saints, he said something like while the Turner Diaries are ugly and explicit in their racism (there’s literally a scene where they talk about the exact demographics that end up hanged from lamp posts and what for) Camp of The Saints somehow came across as
more racist. Like not even using human terms to talk about refugee boats, more like they’re some living plague.
This isn’t to totally defame the Europeans mind you, but Jesus it’s just a whole other level to this shit. Only thing that comes close, I think, is I had this ethics class once with a Korean exchange student, for some reason the professor was talking about the ethics of natural conscription and decided to ask the Korean dude about it. The guy was soft spoken and quiet, but then he said it was because of the Japanese invading and went into this extremely disconcerting diatribe where he’d intermittently say shit like:
>”And I hate the Japanese. I hate the Japanese. I want to kill the Japanese. They’re scum. I hate Japan.”Not saying Koreans ain’t right to be angry over what Japan did to their country, but this guy was just ready for the Asian race war.
>>2392205which isnt even surprising, like Oh? you hate your neighbor thats different from you? Wow! yes in The Colonies we have neighbors of many colors and languages and despite the many longstanding, viciously genocidal conflicts, some of which relate to literal chatteral slavery barely a few generations removed, most of us get along fine more often than not.
to be clear, i am not apologizing for americans, i am insulting europeans. i have endless gripes & resentments about amerikkka, but i also grew up hearing from libs talking about how progressive and tolerant euroids are and from conservatives about how communist and gay they are. and im a little bitter that my experience of meeting fucking dutch and french and germans has been them acting like they can talk about how backwards the US is rigjt before (some of them) going into how the colonies actually werent That Bad and also its ok to sterilize roma women. its despicable, its like they see black americans in a music video and think "youd have to be so uncivilized to do jim crowe to such a talented people…." guess what you pampered snowmonkey, a ton of blacks are criminals & addicts & vagrants, and so are my white family, and those are all my people so stop jacking off to your kendrick lyrical analysis and look in the mirror when you say poles are just arrogant and roma are just sneaky you fucking kraut
>>2392214>>2392215apologize im drunk and if you cant tell was just recently in conversation with european liberals lol
>>2392211annibale is a fucking god i love that guy. radio war nerd would be the perfect /usapol/ podcast if a few spammers in here didnt derail the thread anytime someome talks about something that isnt 100% ideologically pure by the standards they got from instagram reels
>>2392196Even the retail shops have stopped hiring. Grocery stores are just dropping down to skeleton crews.
Humanity is being wiped out.
don't worry guys, Zohran is totally a real revolutionary and not a dog of the democratic party.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y36GEkfqSGAhow long until we give the DSA cucks a "fell for it again" award.
this is what the DSA was built to do, and this is what it will always do.
>>2392257Western women haven't been oppressed for decades now but that's inconvenient for their personal story of overcoming adversity.
>>2392259No, they refuse to acknowledge the obvious. They will find billions of excuses for why everything will end up fine. When they are being put into mass graves they will mindlessly hope the soldiers will suddenly decide to let them go at the last second.
>>2392245>2025>I am forgotten?
>>2392271Irish are colored
>>2392116There's only one Boss
disgusting
>>2392083Such a great scene.
>>2392066The Sopranos is like one of those fatalistic but satirical Russian novels except for Americans which is why it's hilarious. They kill more people than the actual mob did though.
>>2392176>>2392197David Chase had a big problem with the Italian-American anti-defamation stuff, seeing it as a reflection of low self-esteem. Also the Italian mob thing has become a national myth so picking it apart and being like "this is a shame on the Italians" neglects that the whole country has taken on the story as being about themselves. For whatever reason.
>>2392163>>2392200>>2392214>>2392215I think an aspect of (violent) white American racism is the self-conception of these guys as Conan the Barbarian / Snake Plissken-tier individualists armed with Smith & Wessons to defend themselves from Black Crime. The ultimate libertarians on steroids. There's a barbarian character to that, and it's also a fantasy and an archetype that they pick up. Civilization is essentially wicked, so load up on the guns and ammo.
I wonder to the extent that race discourse in Europe is shaped more by a belief (whether unconscious or conscious) that white European civilization is flat-out SUPERIOR. A European fascist youth group will have a wall adorned with names, written in gold, of giants of western art, philosophy, etc. Okay that exists among white supremacists in the U.S. too but I don't know how many of them really believe it deep down inside in some civilizational sense. I'd have to think about this more. The way Europeans talk about Russians as being subhuman is not how Americans talk about them. An American who wants to get tough with the Russians is more of a naked pragmatist who sees utility in threatening them with a big stick.
