Communists in the first place don't necessarily support self-determination, just the right to it. We should make analyses of the national and various oppressions faced by targeted minorities and work to develop underdeveloped areas, remove political and LEO corruption, create jobs training programs for people who are stuck tied to local highly exploitative employment, etc. but I don't think we should inorganically push for national separatism. It's akin to a multi-party fetish imo.

This city rarely makes national news and it's kind of a dump, but more and more I realize why there's a fusion center and an NSA building here. The feds recognize that the number of poor people here, both migrants and not, might someday fight back, even if in less spectacular fashion than more major metro areas. There's at least two migration detention centers within an hour's drive.
