>This comes after Trump and Israeli officials claimed that Khamenei too has been killed.
At this point it would be just mighty odd to not say that he is dead if he is indeed dead. Iran loves their martyrs and getting killed in amerigolem strike would be like the most heroic, dignified and best possible end for a 87 year old man. He has apparently several successors named so his office or the functioning of the country shouldn't even be disrupted.

US and Israel have excellent signal intelligence, but are really just second or third tier in standard interpersonal espionage. They really have hard time getting spooks or turncoats into these meetings and the rely on satellites for location and wiretapping somebody's phone remotely for gps and eavesdropping or smth. Still the best way to outsmart them is generally go low tech and drop all tech and meet in person. No audio, data or paper trail, total privacy.

Unless you have a relatively advanced domestic tech sector or reliable ally with direct supply of communication equipment
and on top of that a reliable and secure domestic communication infrastructure for government and military use, meeting in person behind closed doors, without phones in the room will always will be the most secure way of planning and discussing anything that is top secret.

Iran Thread #3 Repost:

Relative to revolutionary defeatism, if you are British or American, or any other European who's military in whatever Land, Air or Sea capacity, has been or will be hit - rejoice and celebrate, for it weakens the enemy that is your own nation, your own state.

Revolutionary Defeatism applies to the imperialist powers who are aggressing here, we should not be attacking the nation that is being aggressed upon by the imperialist powers!

Iran has its own interest to self-defence and it will and has done so, if you are for its destruction you are for the creation of a new neo-colony in the middle east whose resources will be extracted by the NATO Empire, whose labour will be exploited becoming a dependent people and dependent economy, and its trade routes secured. After tons of bombs, then the sweet profits from rebuilding and investment.

The weaker our enemy gets, being ones own imperialist nation, the more opportunity for agitation for socialists to go amongst the public and show the horror and terror towards others, the military blunder, the waste of resources and funds that could be spent on people and not war! THAT is true revolutionary defeatism and internationalism!

I would also add if you are against Iran, you are for Israel! And the capitulation of the Arabs to reconciling with Israel therefore supporting their OWN genocide and that of the Palestinians in the long run, with Greater Israel, rather than the Gulf states supporting the ideals of Pan-Arabism as outlined by Nasser!

BREAKING: Hebrew media report 'mass casualty event' as a result of an Iranian missile strike in Beit Shemesh

Iran strikes Iranian shadow fleet

March 1 - A Palau-flagged oil tanker under U.S. sanctions was hit on Sunday off Oman's Musandam peninsula, injuring four people, the country's maritime security centre said, without specifying what hit the vessel.

Initial information indicated injuries of varying severity to four of the crew, composed of 15 Indian and five Iranian citizens, it added.

Skylight's registered owner is Sea Force Inc and it is managed by Red Sea Ship Management LLC, LSEG data shows. Both could not be immediately reached for comment.

The U.S. Treasury in December 2025 sanctioned Red Sea Ship Management and Skylight, among other vessels, accusing the management company and its owner of operating a "shadow fleet" to transport Iranian petroleum products in the Gulf.

>As the armies of Epstein martyr the 86-year-old Ali Khamenei, I am reminded of an interesting passage by the veteran CIA operator John Stockwell. He believed that western aggression would harm it in the long-run.

>Writing in the early 1980s, Stockwell was concerned with how Washington’s sponsorship of Angolan armed groups allied with apartheid south Africa would damage US interests:

>the Soviets’ national sport is chess and their foreign policy reflects an effort at long-range planning of coordinated, integrated moves, although they often play the game badly and are given to serious blunders.

>The Chinese are notorious for planning their foreign policy carefully, with moves designed to reach fruition even years beyond the lifetimes of present leaders. By contrast, Ambassador Black observed, the United States is a poker player.
>It looks the world over, picks up whatever cards it is dealt, and plays, raising the stakes as more cards are dealt, until the hand is won or lost. Then, after a drag on the cigarette and another sip of whiskey, it looks around for the next hand to be played.

>From a chess player’s point of view the intervention was a blunder. In July 1975, the Soviet-aligned MPLA was clearly winning, already controlling 12 of the 15 provinces, and was thought by several responsible American-officials and senators to be the best-qualified to run Angola; nor was it hostile to the United States. The CIA committed $31 million to opposing the MPLA victory, but six months later the MPLA had nevertheless decisively won, and 15,000 Cuban regular army troops were entrenched in Angola with the full sympathy of much of the Third World, and the support of several influential African chiefs of state who previously had been critical of any extra-continental intervention in African affairs. At the same time the United States was solidly discredited, having been exposed for covert military intervention in African affairs, having allied itself with South Africa, and having lost.

>That’s all very well and good, but Stockwell’s analysis was not quite justified by the rest of the 1980s. According to his own book, the CIA’s $40 million in support for anti-communist rebels forced the Soviets to spend $400 million supporting the MPLA. By the end of the 80s, pro-American forces had won out in Moscow. Gorbachev and his sidekicks often cited cases like Angola as examples of how draining an anti-NATO foreign policy was. And within a few years, the Soviet Union itself disintegrated.

>My point is that American aggression seems more effective than whatever long-term strategy Moscow or Beijing have. Poker beats chess.

>Some people like talking about some sort of masterful strategy being realized to undermine western hegemony. But what good is strategy if your opponent shoots you in the head? As Keynes said, in the long run we are all dead. The Tel Aviv-Washington axis seems fairly adept at destroying the long-term through immediate executions. Whatever discomfort the rest of the global majority/third world might experience seeing this blatant imperialism seems to be irrelevant.

Protests in front of the US Consulate in Pakistan: Many people killed.
According to Reuters and Associated Press, protesters gathered in front of the US Consulate in the city's port area, where they attacked police with stones and attempted to force their way around the consulate.

Police and paramilitary forces dispersed protesters using tear gas and force. Authorities said at least six people were killed and about a dozen injured in the clashes. The injured reportedly suffered from bleeding and beatings.

The death toll could rise to eight, according to hospital sources, as rescue teams have brought numerous bodies to hospitals.

The events began when a demonstration by a group of Shia Muslims protesting US and Israeli attacks on Iran got out of control. Security forces intervened as the protesters tried to approach the consulate gates.

Authorities stated that police and the government had regained control. Following the protests, streets in some parts of Karachi were temporarily closed in the early hours due to tensions.

if the US loses a carrier, it is an irreplaceable piece of technology for them - there is unironically only one port in the US left capable of making them and it's always busy repairing the existing ones. if one goes, the US response has to be nuclear (literally, dropping a nuke) to dissuade others from sinking another one.

UK says Iran nearly hit British troops, won't rule out participation in strikes
Hundreds of British troops were just 200 metres away from an Iranian missile attack in Bahrain, it has emerged.

Defence Secretary John Healey told the BBC on Sunday morning that UK military personnel and civilians were "at risk with a regime that is increasingly indiscriminate, widespread and uncontrolled in the attacks it is mounting".

The UK is not involved in the US-Israeli attacks on Iran that began on Saturday, but Healey declined to rule out British involvement in future strikes.

"Yesterday, we had 300 personnel on that Bahrain base that was attacked by Iranian missiles and drones, some of them within a few hundred yards of where they landed," he said.

“We had two missiles fired in the direction of Cyprus."

The British base in Cyprus, RAF Akrotiri, was used to launch surveillance flights over Gaza during Israel's genocide in the Palestinian enclave.

“We don’t believe they were targeted at Cyprus," Healey clarified, "but nevertheless, it’s an example of how there is a very real and rising threat from a regime that is lashing out widely across the region, and that requires us to act.”

He said missiles have not directly targeted British bases but labelled Iran a "very real and rising threat", adding Iranian missile commanders were "increasingly allowed to choose their own targets".

'Starmer must rule out UK involvement'
RAF Typhoons are understood to be participating in regional defence operations against Iranian strikes.

The UK reportedly shot down a missile heading towards a base housing its service personnel in Iraq on Saturday.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Saturday that British forces aimed "to protect our people, our interests, and our allies - as Britain has done before, in line with international law".

Green Party leader Zack Polanski told the BBC on Sunday morning he was worried the UK would be dragged into an "illegal war".

"Really concerned to hear the defence secretary refuse to rule out UK's involvement in future strikes on Iran," Polanski said.

"Iraq lessons must be learned. Further escalation in the Middle East makes us all less safe.

"Starmer must rule out UK involvement immediately."

Reform UK and the Conservative Party have called for Britain to allow the US to use British bases for attacks on Iran.

Most significant to the conflict is the joint UK-US military base on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean Chagos Archipelago. The base places US bomber aircraft within 5,300km of Iran, but the UK reportedly blocked the US from using it to attack Iran.

Iran's Shahed-136 kamikaze drones have the range to attack Diego Garcia, which houses around 4,000 people, mostly US military personnel and contractors.

The UK also has airbases in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Cyprus.

If Iran attacks a British base, the Labour government would likely come under enormous domestic pressure from opposition parties to join in with strikes on Iran.

> Israel’s defense minister, Israel Katz, described the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as a “turning point,” saying Iran’s Supreme Leader was “the one who led the campaign of destruction against the state of Israel.” In remarks on Sunday after an operational consultation with Israel’s security chiefs, Katz added that the “operation will continue for as long as necessary.” Israel’s leaders and the military have said that one of the objectives is “to create the conditions” for a change of government in Iran.

War in Iran: Conflict escalates, Ahmadinejad assassinated.
The United States and Israel launched Operation Epic Fury on Saturday, February 28, beginning their bombing campaign against Iran.

<REVOLUTIONARY GUARDS LAUNCH NEW 'LARGE-SCALE' ATTACK.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced on Sunday the launch of the seventh and eighth waves of attacks as part of Operation True Promise 4. While no details were given about the targets, the attacks were described as "widespread."

<US AIRCRAFT CARRIER TARGETED.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps has shared images and statements claiming to have targeted the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier amid rising tensions in the region. The aircraft carrier was deployed to the Middle East in January and is seen as a symbol of the military presence in the area.

However, neither Israel nor the US has officially confirmed this claim; instead, US forces announced that they shot down an Iranian-made drone that was approaching the ship.

The USS Abraham Lincoln remains part of the naval group in the region and is frequently mentioned in Iranian attack threats.

<THE DEATH TOLL AT THE TARGET SCHOOL HAS RISEN TO 148.

The death toll from the attack on a girls' primary school in Minab, Hormozgan province in southern Iran, has risen to 148, with 95 people injured. Most of the injured are students.

The Israeli army, however, denied having any information about an attack on that location, stating that the operations were being conducted "with extreme precision."

<ISRAEL: 40 HIGH-RANKING COMMANDERS KILLED

The Israeli army announced that 40 high-ranking Iranian military officials have been killed since Saturday. The statement also claimed that Iran's air defense systems in western and central regions have been largely "dismantled," paving the way for air superiority over Tehran.

Ahmadinejad was also killed.

Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was reportedly killed in an airstrike in Tehran. The news was announced by the Iran-based Ilna news agency.

While details regarding Ahmedinejad's death have not yet been released, official authorities have not provided a detailed explanation as to whether he was the intended target of the attack.

<MISSILE ATTACK ON ISRAEL: 9 DEAD

In retaliatory attacks by Iran, at least nine people were killed when a building in central Israel collapsed after being hit by a direct missile. Twenty-eight people were injured, with two reported to be in critical condition.

<GULF COUNTRIES ARE THE TARGET.

Regarding Iran's attacks on Gulf countries:

  • In the United Arab Emirates, 3 people were killed and 58 injured. Authorities announced that 152 out of 165 ballistic missiles and 506 out of 541 drones were destroyed.

  • One person died and 32 were injured in Kuwait .

Additionally, in Iraq's Diyala province, an airstrike on a base belonging to the pro-Iranian Hashd al-Shaabi militia killed four fighters and wounded eight others.

<GULF COUNTRIES HOLD EMERGENCY MEETING.

The Gulf Cooperation Council (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Bahrain) foreign ministers decided to hold an online meeting to discuss a “joint response” to the Iranian attacks. Saudi Arabia also summoned Iran’s ambassador to Riyadh to the Foreign Ministry.

<OPEC+ HAS OPENED THE OIL VALVE.

As the war disrupted energy markets, Saudi Arabia, Russia, and OPEC+ members increased their oil production quota for April by 206,000 barrels per day. This increase exceeded market expectations.

However, experts say this step may not be enough to prevent a price increase if oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz are disrupted.

Araghchi asserts no victory achievable for US-Israel
“This war cannot bring about any good result for the other side”, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, has told Al Jazeera.
“There is no victory in this war. They have not been able to achieve their targets, and they will not be able to achieve their targets in the coming days. As long as they continue, they cannot achieve anything,” Araghchi said.
“This reminds me of the previous war – the 12-day war last June – when they expected that in two or three days Iran would capitulate and surrender. But it took 12 days for them to understand that Iran was not surrendering, and that they had no option but to ask for an unconditional ceasefire.
“I do not see any difference between this time and the previous time. We will resist as long as it takes, and they will see the result,” Araghchi said.

Maersk suspends vessel transit through Strait of Hormuz
Maersk, the world’s largest container shipping company, says it will halt passage of cargo vessels through the Strait of Hormuz for “safety” reasons.

“We are suspending all vessel crossings in the Strait of Hormuz until further notice,” the Danish group said in an online advisory.
“The safety of our crews, vessels and customers’ cargo remains our key priority,” it said.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard earlier announced the Strait’s closure.

Despite its narrow width, the channel accommodates the world’s largest crude carriers. Major Middle Eastern oil and gas exporters rely on it to move supplies to international markets while importing nations depend on its uninterrupted operation.

Indian authorities crackdown on protests in Kashmir

Tens of thousands of people took to the streets in India-controlled Kashmir to protest and mourn the killing of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Demonstrations took place in Srinagar, Budgam, Baramulla, Bandipora, Pulwama and Kargil.

Protesters carried black flags and portraits of Khamenei, chanting anti-America and anti-Israel slogans.

In the days leading up to the strikes, Kashmiris had already reported a heightened security presence across the valley.

After news of the killing broke, authorities appeared braced for unrest, deploying forces and slowing the internet. There were several cases of Indian forces charging protesters, sources on the ground told MEE.

Kashmir is a majority Sunni region, but it is home to a large Shia population that make up around 10-15 percent of the population.

Support for Khamenei in Kashmir is across the board, with Mirwaiz Mohammad Umar Farooq of the Jamia Masjid issuing a condemnation of his killing and calling for a strike in Kashmir on Monday.

In Pakistan-controlled Kashmir, there were significant protests as well, with unconfirmed reports that a UN office was set alight.

The Jammu and Kashmir government in India-controlled Kashmir called for the closure of all educational institutions for the next two days.

Kashmir has a centuries-old cultural and linguistic connection with Iran, and was known as “Little Iran” as a result of the scale of influence.

MSC shipping company orders vessels in Gulf to ‘safe shelter’
MSC, the global shipping company, says it told its vessels in the Gulf to seek shelter and suspended all bookings for worldwide cargo to the Middle East.
“As a precautionary measure, MSC has instructed all vessels currently operating in the Gulf region, as well as those en route to the area, to proceed to designated safe shelter areas until further notice,” it said in a statement.

MSC said its top priority was the safety of its crews.
“The company continues to closely monitor developments and is working with relevant authorities to ensure the safety of its operations. Middle East bookings will resume as soon as the security situation improves,” it said.
“Customers will be informed as soon as further details become available regarding potential alternative ports where cargo may be discharged, should the situation require additional operational adjustments.”

Saudi Arabia intercepts missile attacks on airport, military base
Saudi Arabia says it intercepted Iranian missiles targeting Riyadh’s international airport and the Prince Sultan Airbase that houses US military personnel.
“Air defences successfully intercepted Iranian missiles near Riyadh airport and Prince Sultan Airbase on Sunday afternoon,” an unidentified source, requesting anonymity to discuss sensitive matters, told AFP news agency.
The interception did not disrupt navigation or cause any human or material losses. An eyewitness near the airport said they “saw and heard the air defence intercept the missile in the sky”.
Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, and Manama airports have also been targeted by Iranian attacks with authorities reporting one death in the Emirati capital in the “incident” at the facility.
Saudi Arabia houses US bases and personnel though bigger facilities are located in Bahrain and Qatar.

Yes I tried explaining this the other day and got kicked for it.
Bahrain is basically an apartheid state where a small super rich Sunni Arab minority controls everything and has all the power and money, and the Shia Arab majority are totally disenfranchised and denied any influence or say.
There aren't even enough Sunnis for them to have their own loyal army so they import Sunnis from abroad to defend the regime.
And of course like any gulf state there's an Indian/African/Filipino slave caste, albeit somewhat less extreme in scale than Qatar or the UAE given the size of Bahrain and the number of expendable Shia locals.
And there's the white expats and porta potty models too…

Khamenei’s death a ‘step forward’, says nephew

The death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei offers hope to the country, says his nephew, a France-based doctor opposed to the Islamic Republic.

“Like most Iranians, I am happy,” Mahmoud Moradkhani, the son of one of Khamenei’s sisters, said by telephone from his home in northern France.

“I am very happy about the death of Ali Khamenei. I think it’s a step forward, a hope,” AFP news agency quoted him as saying.

“War and military interventions slow down a bit political process, which is a bit regrettable, but maybe we had to go through this step,” said Moradkhani.

He predicted the regime is unlikely to survive Khamenei’s killing. “The regime’s internal rivalries are such and it won’t be able to resist them, it’ll have to disappear and give the power to the people.”

US State Department authorises Qatar departures
The US State Department has authorised the departure of non-emergency government personnel and their family members from Qatar because of safety risks.
The US currently has a Level 3 travel advisory for Qatar – with citizens asked to reconsider travel to the Gulf state.
Iran has fired dozens of missiles at Qatar following the joint US-Israel strikes on Saturday.

Iran warns of ‘heavy consequences’ for US and Israel
The Iranian army announced it downed 10 advanced drones across the country today, bringing the total number of drones shot down so far to 22. Most of them, according to Iranian officials, were Hermes drones allegedly belonging to Israeli and American forces.

Iranian authorities are making it clear this is a moment of full-scale resistance. They say they intend to strike back as forcefully as possible, and insist they have not yet deployed their most powerful military capabilities, including some of their advanced missile systems.

Officials are warning that both the United States and Israel will pay what they describe as “a heavy price” in the days ahead.

They are also framing this conflict as unlike previous confrontations. Iranian leaders are characterising it as an existential war – one in which, they say, there will be no retreat, no compromise, and no surrender until Iran has demonstrated its ability to defend itself and preserve what it calls its dignity and independence.

Once Iran depletes its missile stock it’ll have caused significant damage and destroyed key economic checkpoints to the global economy. The future regime that takes charge will be far more anti-US and Israel. America doesn’t have the political will for an occupation and Israel doesn’t have the manpower. My prediction this going to end in a very unsatisfactory ceasefire once all sides exhaust themselves and all Israel and the U.S will have to show for it is millions more radicalized enemies, a crippled global economy and rapidly escalating political instability. Iran will likely recover and immediately start rebuilding military capabilities, they may even begin pursuing a nuke.

All this is insanity will have achieved the opposite desired results, Iran has always been more than willing to negotiate with the U.S and acquiesce to the majority of their demands. The door for negotiations is going to be closed for decades if it ever becomes possible.

The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that Iran attacked the Salam airbase in Abu Dhabi , resulting in a fire.

The ministry stated that " Today, two Iranian drones bombed a warehouse at the Salam base in Bahrain in Abu Dhabi, resulting in a fire in two crates of stored materials. Specialist teams attempted to control the fire."

The ministry strongly condemned the attack, stating that it was a violation of national sovereignty and international law and that it had the right to respond.

Eleven remain missing in Iranian missile strike on Beit Shemesh: Israeli police
Police say 11 people are currently listed as unaccounted for, as search and rescue teams continue looking for survivors in the attack in Beit Shemesh, near West Jerusalem, according to the police quoted by the Israeli media.

Iranian state television said it has been targeted by strikes after a series of powerful blasts rattled Tehran, though it was not knocked off the air.

Hopefully this isn't off-topic but I collect old magazines and I'd like to share some pages from the coronation of Empress Farah from '67. It's neat to see Reza at 6 years old. It's easy to forget sometimes that Iran is essentially a conquered civilization like pre-Reconquista Spain.

UAE closes stock markets on Monday and Tuesday
The United Arab Emirates will keep its stock markets closed on Monday and Tuesday due to the ongoing fallout from Iranian missile strikes on the country.

The UAE Capital Markets Authority said the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and Dubai Financial Market would remain shut on March 2 and March 3.

“The Authority will continue to monitor developments in the region and assess the situation on an ongoing basis, taking any further measures as necessary,” it said in a statement.

The UAE’s two exchanges are amongst the top five biggest stock markets in the Middle East and home to some of the region’s most valuable listed companies.

Gulf markets that did open on Sunday saw sharp declines. Saudi Arabia’s benchmark index fell more than 4% at the open, Oman dropped 3% and Egypt’s main index shed 5.44%, while Kuwait suspended trading entirely.

Iran targeted the camps and headquarters of 4 parties in Rojhilat (Eastern Kurdistan).
The Iranian state attacked the camps of four parties belonging to the Rojhilat Kurdistan parties in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region with missiles and drones.

According to reports, between 19:30 and 20:10, the Komele Party headquarters in Zirguêzele village, Tancero district of Silêmanî, was targeted with missiles and kamikaze drones.

One person was injured in the attacks, and significant property damage was reported.

Additionally, the Zeviye Spî Camp of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan was also targeted by kamikaze drones; however, it was reported that they were destroyed before reaching their target.

Again, the headquarters of the Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK) in the town of Pirdê was also targeted with missiles. It was stated that this missile was also destroyed before reaching its target.

In the town of Surdash, a kamikaze drone aimed at the Komel Party camp was destroyed in mid-air.

Dear Lord Commanders of the IRGC, PLEASE continue launching your finest missiles at Dubai.
Even if it doesn't hurt the US/Israel in a big way, there's still a high chance you may kill several cryptofags, influencers and rich failsons with your attacks which would be a huge net gain for humanity.

It was 100% allowed to happen by Israeli intelligence in order to greatly accelerate the ethnic cleansing of Gaza.
It at least turned worldwide public opinion against Israel and Zionism but without anyone outside of Hamas and the Houthis actually opposing them in any meaningful way, the genocide continues to this day.

>>2712306
It really isn't. None of these countries care about their citizen's public opinion that much. They'll just wait until people stop caring and then resume normalization with Israel. The fact that Iran has struck these countries will probably accelerate that process too. The reason why the US and Israel feel bold enough to attack Iran is because the Axis of Resistance has been practically destroyed. Hezbollah was the gun to Israel's head, but they've been badly mauled and the loss of Syria means that they can't be resupplied or rebuild nearly as easily.

>>2712308

I'd honestly be pretty surprised if it wasn't. What's the point of having this network of allies if you aren't going to deploy them in a war? At the very least they could bombard US bases in Iraq and force the Americans to divert more resources to protecting them.

>>2712280
A few reasons. On an organizational level, Hezbollah is still recovering from earlier Israeli attacks and has not had the time to both reorganize and prepare an offensive. October 7th was planned and practiced extensively for at least a year beforehand, and any offensive by Hezbollah will require the same degree of preparation, if not more. Don't expect anything anytime soon, even if Hezbollah maintains the political will to do this. That brings us to the second (larger) issue, as an organization of the national and petty bourgeoisie Hezbollah has entered into the same political crisis as other anti-Israeli factions, that being an overall decline in the political will of the bourgeoisies in every Arab nation to oppose Israel and maintain national independence rather than integrate themselves into the world imperialist system as compradors and bureaucrats.

Israel and the US have more-or-less succeeded in driving a wedge between Palestine and the rest of the Arab states by making it clear that any who step in will face indiscriminate destruction and economic disruption, while simultaneously making shrewd overtures for "peace" through capital export and investment. It's the age-old rhetorical wedge of settler-colonialism: "well we'd do business with you good ones, but we need the bad ones out of the way first." This carrot and stick is irresistible to the national and petty bourgeoisies, and its continued effectiveness can be seen in the growing divide in the Iranian bourgeoisie, who previously stood strongly united against the only other power which could threaten their regional hegemony. Why maintain the Islamic Republic if that's what stands in the way of the Iranian bourgeoisie achieving the absurd wealth displayed in Saudi Arabia or the UAE? The bourgeois classes of Lebanon are confronted with a similar question — Hezbollah doubly so with its politics stemming directly from the Iranian Revolution — and it's increasingly clear that in the neo-colonial age the late-20th century framework of "non-aligned" petty bourgeois national liberation isn't sustainable. This isn't to say Hezbollah is bad or will simply liquidate itself, but that a continuity-rupture is likely on the horizon, where the petty-bourgeoisie largely betray the resistance while the proletarians of Hezbollah and their politics continue it in a more genuine way.

Statement by the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea
>A spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea released the following statement on the 1st:
Israel's military attack on Iran, launched with the active support and protection of the United States, and the accompanying US military action, are, in their nature, completely illegal and outrageous acts of aggression and constitute the most heinous form of violation of sovereignty.

The fact that the long-term US military threat against Iran in the region would lead to a realistic military invasion was already within the realm of possibility and was a logical consequence of the US's hegemonic and rogue nature.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea condemns in the strongest terms the shameless and gangster-like behavior of the United States and Israel, who do not hesitate to abuse military force to achieve their selfish and hegemonic ambitions, placing domestic law above recognized international law.

The increasing hegemonic behavior of the United States that the international community has witnessed this year serves as a stark example of its destructive role in undermining world peace and stability, and its dire consequences.

The tyranny and tyranny of the tyrant, which are not met with a strong response or sufficient resistance, are forcing the regional powers to pay a heavy price and are raising concerns that the current situation in Iran could have an undeniable negative impact on the political, economic, and geopolitical aspects of the region.

The world is reexamining the history of how the United States destroyed peace in the Middle East decades ago for its own hegemonic interests, ultimately leading to its geopolitical failure and strategic frustration.

The aggressive war actions of the United States and Israel, which cannot be justified by anything, cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.

The regional parties and interested parties must accurately grasp the true nature of the lawbreakers who chose aggression and war under the pretense of false peace and fulfill their due responsibility to return the Middle East situation to peace and stability. (End)

Generally I agree, but if you manage to kill enough high ranking people in a short enough timeframe then this will make it difficult for a military to operate. This is in part why Hezbollah had to withdraw from the war in Gaza. However clearly they haven't been able to accomplish this with Iran.

They probably have some kind of decentralized system in place to offset losses in leadership. They had an entire year to develop something, it's not like israel is trying something new.

That's it? Shit looks like a party popper

great man theory is true to an extent and rejecting it wholesale is foolish

Series of blasts heard over West Jerusalem
A series of loud blasts have been heard above West Jerusalem following air raid sirens after the Israeli military said it detected missiles launched from Iran.
“A short while ago, the [Israeli military] identified missiles launched from Iran toward the territory of the State of Israel,” the army said in a statement.
“Defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat.”

Others remain trapped under debris of the destroyed building.
“Following the enemy attack on the city of Rey, the Rey Police Headquarters building and nearby residential buildings were hit,” the Tasnim news agency reported.
“According to initial reports a number of citizens were martyred and some were trapped under the rubble.”

How do you know? They're probably preparing the next pager attack right now. Maybe next one will be exploding microwaves or something.

No one is going to reply to:
>>2712470
So I'll just say again, everything that happened in that war from the pager attack to them pinpointing Nasrallah's bunker proves that they're infiltrated up the yin yang.

>>2712514
"If I'm going down I'm taking you with me" perhaps? The conflict last year already showed that the Iron Dome is extremely vulnerable.

>>2712518
If only the IRGC could find a way to plant remote explosives into the genitals of small children. Then they'd be able to wipe out the entire Ziomerican leadership in one swoop.

the fact that until this moment all kinds of missiles and drones are rainning all over the middle easy, is undeniable evidence that no one has shaken the the real structure of the Iranian state.

Why doesn't Iran use its sub-marines?

>>2712391
> A lot of people in these threads seem to talk about Jews as if they're subhuman vermin, rather than just saying that Israelis are dickheads.
Uhhh, I think I would say they're a little more nefarious than just "dickheads."

Iranian AD brought down some kind of air vehicle, most likely drone but some saying jet cause of the explosion at the end.

>middle east spectator
this motherfucker is saying that US bases have been reduced to ash and that Khameini was giving commands 8 hours after he died

I'm seeing some Shahrters say there's video proof out there that the school bombing was an inside job by Iran, with no said proof ever being provided. Not surprised, just thought the constant bombing Pissrael did of Gazan schools and hospitals would have created a sense of "yep, that's them zios for you!" in these people and that they'd just grow to accept that their political ally is a kid murdering entity, and not have them grasping at straws saying IRAN DID IT IRAN DID IT

Another neglected topic: The Israelis are openly planning to increase the genocide in Gaza again(not that they ever stopped.) I was hearing an interesting Al Jazeera piece a month ago about how in their internal media they're openly talking about their near term plans to complete the genocide and reassuring the Israeli public the ceasefire is just a rouse. So I imagine it would be good for them to do it at the same time as this Iran thing because it will be easier to bury amongst the other news.
