The PRC hasn't been keen on defending even their own interests, let alone supporting communist movements or even the Global South.
In fact, they've supported a bunch of regimes that have crushed or have intended to crush communist insurgencies.
Can you imagine a militant Japan or a starving Cuba if the Soviets existed today?

They're not interested in exporting the revolution clearly, but they're much better than the US military etc.

>>2788415
>they're much better than the US military etc.
They got mogged worse than them in Vietnam and their new shit is largely untested though

>>2788418
>their new shit is largely untested though
Same could be said for most of military equipment used by literally any other major military manufacturer. Also unproven doesn't equate with untested and neither does it equate with ineffective.

>non-intervention is bad when America's enemies do it
Do campists really

i'm actually so fucking glad someone brought this up. I know some you chuds might call me a fed or some throw some other random buzzwords at me with the intent of disregarding everything I say, but imma say it anyways. modern day china is not to be trusted. ever since the opening up of deng they have been on a path of slowly degenerating to low after low. don't get me wrong some of those economic reforms did help them deal with a lot of issues, but the biggest point of order for me has has been the outright reactionaryism that I'm seeing from recent leaders (particularly xi). the extreme han Chinese nationalism, social conservatism, and of course, the lack of solidarity with international socialist or even humanitarian causes. (like making dumb ass social media posts about vaguely criticizing israel while still doing trade with them). forget international socialist solidarity, they wont even care about socialism in their own country anymore. its very clear that the biggest, most important theme within the Chinese political sphere is the nationalistic strive for geopolitical dominance, not for the benefit of the socialist cause in the world (or even in their own country), but just for the benefit of the Chinese nation. I understand that this was about military, but the truth is I'm not too sure about China as a whole. I would defend them with my life against a lib, but I can no longer deny the degeneration of their socialist values into this purely nationalistic drive to be the next hegemon. it seems that, for them, geopolitical power is no longer a means to the end of spreading socialism (as it was for the ussr), but rather the triumph of conquest is an end itself.

How many times does this need to be said? The CPC is not led by retards. Western leftists and other retards want China to indulge in unrealistic third-worldist power fantasies. The current national self-defense policy is far more effective, uses fewer resources and still puts China ahead of the US.
>>2788418
Wait, do you really think China has the same military and society as it did during the Sino-Vietnam War?

except if you actually read what i said you'd know that I wasn't just talking about global intervention, but national political rhetoric, which is obviously reactionary nationalism. it is undeniable that they are no longer committed to the victory of Marxist socialism (whether in their own country or worldwide), but rather general victory for the geopolitical and economic interests of the Chinese nation regardless of whatever ideology governs them, and it it is very clear that as they grow, their economy will only continue opening up as it has been for so long now. many of these large companies will still be subject to general jurisdiction by the CCP to carry out 5 year plans , but a lot of the day to day stuff will be up to them to operate for personal profit. It's kind of like a ship of Theseus situation, how much can they possibly privatize and degrade socialism before we finally stop calling it socialism?

can't you clowns just go to the PRC thread and spam your garbage there? Do you realy need to post a new thread for that?

>>2788521
>>2788774
>its another US state dpt propaganda "muh evil china is gonna conquer the world or at least be evil economically" episode
no, china national political rhetoric is still filled with marxism and internationalism, the idea that xi is reactionary when he was a hard turn to the left and back toward marxism is ridiculous

>>2788620
>China has the same military and society as it did during the Sino-Vietnam War?
They largely "westernized" after seing how lopsided the gulf war was in favor of the coalition and Vietnam was the last war they did. So their military is now totally different and it has never been in a conflict in that form which means that when it does things will be rough, sure they have a better industrial base but compared to them the US has infinitely more experience since they are a warmongering country and they still have an edge in many military technologies (for now).

Every here citizen knows that. The guy who controls the military only cares about whether he can still hold onto his noble status by the next day

>exporting the revolution
No, there's nothing revolution here.

I lived in China for a few years as an international student but that was during COVID so I’m not sure how typical my experience was. I’ll be brutally honest, most of the population seemed to be focused on consumption and didn’t show much interest in Marxism or higher-level politics. People mostly consumed and just tried to get by, perhaps even more so than Westerners or people from the third world. BUT the streets were clean, the air was good and people seemed content because the CCP handled most things and they were comfortable letting it do so. Gradually the CCP has been increasing its control over businesses and moving closer toward socialism and then communism, though it still relies on economic capital. As for why I don’t just move to China, it’s because I love my country and want to help its people to the best of my ability.

PLA barely even exists
The entire country is a Potemkin village on steroids

This is like discovering that the average Catholic doesn’t really care about theology or something
No fucking shit

>>2788418
>They got mogged worse than them in Vietnam

>their new shit is largely untested though

class society will continue until every man can download kung fu and marxism into his head matrix style. we need a world of philosopher-kings

I’m pro-China, but let’s drop the “China number one” posturing. Chinese leadership knows their military hasn’t been tested in modern warfare, which is why they tend to observe from a distance and adapt based on what they learn. It’s also why they keep their military relatively small. it’s a pragmatic approach. For the same reason,I don’t believe they’ll invade Taiwan, they’re not retarded like americans.
