Spanish health minister: 'All passengers on virus-hit ship are asymptomatic'
Ahead of the World Health Organization's 2pm news conference, we're hearing from the Spanish health minister now.
Monica Garcia says that everyone on the boat is asymptomatic and once ready, the ship will continue on to the Canary Islands.
Then, efforts will be made to repatriate all passengers - apart from anyone who shows signs of the illness.
She added that Spanish passengers will be evaluated and checked, and will go to a military hospital in Madrid - where they will be examined and kept in isolation.

I masked up fairly early and remember seeing someone in the grocery store notice me and then say to his gf "oooh it's COVID" to try and tease her a bit. "Staaaahp." It did feel a bit weird wearing the mask at first when most people weren't. But at that point, the normies were skeptical and I even remember Kamala Harris being like I'm not taking the Trump vaxx. This was right when it was starting.

As much as i agree this situation has been sensationalized and won't be some Covid 2-level global crisis as some people are claiming, dosent mean the whole thing is just false.

I don't trust any early medical takes about newborne viruses. There was a lot that was unknown about covid when it first showed up, people were learning on the fly. Same could be true of this. Or it could be a nothingburger. We won't know until it happens. Obviously they should be fucking quarantining and contact tracing all these people. Need to learn from covid. Better that a handful of people are inconvenienced than let millions die.
