>>2809566>If you study Catholic Social Teaching and Catholic philosophy, especially Thomism (the philosophy of Aquinas), you will see that it is socialist in nature and very in-line with MarxismOne could also say Marxism is also "in line" with Islam because Marxism is militant and The Prophet Muhammad was militant.
But these are all at best coincidences.
Communism is Materialist, holding that mind emerged from matter through evolution. Religion is Idealist, holding that matter emerged from the mind of God, through
creatio ex-nihilo.Communism holds that "it is only possible to achieve real liberation in the real world by employing real means" (Karl Marx, The German Ideology, 1845). The New Testament says "Slaves, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, in singleness of heart, as you obey Christ;" (Ephesians 6:5), while the old testament says “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)
These differences should not be covered up and glossed over.
Communists parties have split with one another over much smaller differences, and in the early history of Christianity, Christian Bishops fought one another over doctrines like Arianism.
