Any predictions for the outcome of the 2026 American midterm elections?

Any socialists on the ballot?

Any guesses as to how the redistributing/gerrymandering issue will play into things?

How do you think issues like Trump’s wars, the tariffs, ICE raids, Black issues, Medicare For All, the climate, voting rights, abortion, trans issues, autistic/neurodivergent issues, and Palestine will affect the outcome? For instance, are we seeing a split in the Democrats over Palestine and other foreign policy issues?

who gives a fuck

>>2812894
Then we would be in full fascism Dumbass!!! Akkkelerationists are dumb as fuck

Dubs and ICE shoots someone at a polling booth.

>>2812903
Are you insane?!?! I would not wish that on my worst enemy, 2 wrongs don't make a right and collective punishment is evil.

The Democrats will split over whether or not Trump is controlled by Russia or by Israel. Calling it now.

>Any guesses as to how the redistributing/gerrymandering issue will play into things?
If it's actually a blue wave like some commenters and poll agency predict pretty much all of the gop gerrymander will backfire on them.
>How do you think issues like Trump’s wars, the tariffs
These might coast him the midterms and will coast the GOP 2028.
>Medicare For All
The people that care the most about this (poor whites and poor latinos) barely vote or vote GOP already. It's been reduced to a low salience issue people have been quietly gave up on. In general i don't think the culture for medicare still exist. It was a thing during the 2010s because left-of-center liberals still believed in the fairy-tale of the GOP voter that was "tricked" into voting for scumbags but that myth has been smashed by social medias during the Biden years and liberals don't want to pay so republicans can throw their feces into the commons anymore.
>Black issues
Black identity politics took a dive after summer of floyd and people realizing black academics, which were the main driver of black idpol by that point, are cretins. I don't think it's gonna make a comeback at the national level anytime soon considering african americans are split between the lumpenized blacks who don't care for politics and the middle to upper class blacks who just the normalfag life.
>trans issues
Low salience issue. People don't vote based on it even if they have strong opinions over it.
>autistic/neurodivergent issues
Does not even exist on anyone's radar.
>For instance, are we seeing a split in the Democrats over Palestine
Obviously. Even boomer democrats and jewish dems hate israel now. They're hanging a by a thread.

This tbh, midterms is like the winter Olympics, nobody gaf

Will democrats stop the mass deportations if they win the house?

>>2813172
The "mass deportations" (which arent really happening anyway) arent the problem, and a far-left country would probably enforce immigration more harshly. ICE is bad because it's a right-wing gestapo, thanfully it is ran by retarded thugs and not as effective as it could be as result.
Democrat should liquidate this agency, jail his leaders and create a new immigration agency staffed by their guys.
It is arguably more important to control immigration flows in 2026 than it was when ICE was created. Many reactionary diapsoroid and subversive agents are entering the GOp-led US, the next Dem admin should sort them out and send them to gitmo.

>>2812897
why do you want to save the facade of bourgeois democracy? elections are already fake and gay and rigged and their results are irrelevant, there is a reason a big chunk of the population doesnt give a damn about voting, cancelling them would force the rest of the electoralcattle to face reality

>>2813150
>Low salience issue. People don't vote based on it even if they have strong opinions over it.

I think Republicans do. Seems to be in their campaign ads out here, and when I confronted some MAGA guy counter protesting No Kings he just kept repeating "YOU WANT BOYS IN GIRL SPORTS!" like a fucking parrot.

a lot of good progs these midterms, prog in Michigan, in new york state, California too. none of these are trve socialist, but they will pave the way for actual socialists to win

democrats will win the house, but it will not be by as much as polls show, and instead of a blue wave it will be a blue puddle.

republicans win senate.

gridlock in congress, nothing ever happens.jpg

>>2813751
Good, it’s better when nothing happens, nothing good has ever happened

Palestine becomes the wedge issue that splits the Democrats.

>>2813529
Sure but these guys would have voted GOP anyway regardless of agenda. I mean you met him at a counterprotest it's something only a dedicated partisan would do.
>>2813537
Platner is the one i have an eye on the most. Him winning could have a virtuous effect on democrats and left of center politics as a whole. It would send a message to the hysterical moralfag wing of the left and the libs that they have been defeated.
It's also a good thing to have ex-soldier, military types etc on the left, it got too effeminate and peace-loving over the years, this is just not apt to the current cultural landscape.
