You may have heard of Bosnia, but you probably did not know that is not a sovereign and independent state, it is a NATO colony. This isn't hyperbole, this is a fact.

Bosnia has something called a "High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
https://www.ohr.int/en/
This is a NATO-appointed governor who must approve all elections and elected officials, all laws and pretty much everything else that has to do with governance. Liberals refer to this person as a "powerful peace envoy" lol.
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cg5pvj5pg51o

*Why is it relevant?*
The governor is about to change. The US and EU will each try to install their own.

*Why is Bosnia important?*
Bosnia is the only Muslim country in Europe. This means that it is the only country whose banks can hold money of observant Muslims. A lot of money going from Middle East to Europe goes through Bosnia.

Bosnia's location is in the heart of the Balkans. It is a gateway from central Europe to Balkans, Black and Aegean Seas. Geographically it is mountainous and covered in forests. It is very easy to have guerrillas/insurgents/partisans running around Bosnia causing trouble.

Bosnia isn't in the EU. Republika Srpska in the north is Serbia/Russia-aligned. Bosnia always seems to be on the verge of war, war in Bosnia would drag in the surrounding countries, as both Serbia and Croatia would take action to protect their citizens living in Bosnia.

Bosnia has a lot of fresh water. This is an appreciating commodity.

Like Croatia and Greece, it's a tourism colony

It's cool. I messed up the headings in the OP, I used three asterisks instead of three apostrophes.

But back to the topic. It's crazy how many people don't know that NATO as been appointing a governor to Bosnia for the last 30 years. They plan on doing it indefinitely. They decided that the people in Bosnia cannot govern themselves or can't be trusted to. Then they call the governor a "peace envoy" lmao.

Isn't that authoritarianism? In the full sense of the word. What liberals imagine the presidents of """regimes""" do, a single person overseeing everything, is literally what defenders of the "rule based" liberal democratic world order are doing in Europe and have no plans on stopping.

"If liberals didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have any standards at all."

It's a dialectical kind of freedom you see. By not recognizing the Bosnian's right to elect his representatives freely, he can consciously recognize the absence of free choice in national political decisionmaking implicit in the framework of liberal capitalism and NATO hegemony that's not obvious to most of us. In this way, he gains a higher stage of understanding than the common liberal citizen of a country without a personified governor-general, because he can't fetishistically attribute the workings of the state, capital and society to the people he votes for every 4 years.

>Bosnia is the only Muslim country in Europe.
What? WTF are you talking about? Bosnia isn't even the most muslim country in Europe, Albania and Kosovo are far more muslim (I doubt you recognize Kosovo but still).

Other than that, yeah you're largely correct. The office of the High Representative is not appointed by "NATO", though, it's appointed by the "Peace Implementation Council", which is a Western-dominated council that includes Russia and Serbia. I get why you'd consider this to be comparable to just being "Appointed by NATO" but I do believe that words have meanings and we should adhere to them.

Picrel is a map of the "Peace Implementation Council". It also includes a number of organizations that can't be included on a map. It seems that the West basically dominates this organization and non-Western nations like Russia do not have enough power to override that, given that they consider the current High Representative Christian Schmidt (Who I also attached a picture of because he looks like Norm Macdonald) to be illegitimate.

Also, listen to this:
>Valentin Inzko, during his tenure as high representative, declared: "We have to wait for the moment that Bosnia–Herzegovina is irreversibly on its way to Euro-Atlantic integration, then we should shut down the Office."
LMFAO how blatant
