Why arent more marxists talking about AGI? It's the culmination of all of marxist critique of the political economy, as I imagine it will be the main vector in moving the falling rates of profits in the future. It's also probably the best opportunity we have to move to a communist society significantly more developed than we first thought, since it has the full capacity to rapidly achieve post-scarcity and teach itself into superhuman intelligence.

The point of AGI is that it can run itself. Considering we'd be in a communist society without a profit incentive that makes companies sacrifice safety, and entirely different goals, it's pretty likely it'd only require some basic safety monitoring, it's not that colossal of a task.
