Literally just abolish ALL taxes except a SINGLE progressive INCOME tax.
Virtually all taxes are a scam to steal money from the proletariat.
Property taxes? Money stolen directly from house owning proles and indirectly from renters to fund local capitalist government.
Sales tax/VAT? Money stolen from proles who just want to spend their hard earned money on things to survive and maybe enjoy a bit.
Payroll taxes? What a gigantic fucking scam. You are already fleeced by income taxes but now you are double fleeced by ANOTHER income tax that most don't even know or think about.
Social security/Medicare/equivalents in your country? What is the purpose of this when you already pay income tax? Why seperate this out? To guilt trip you into paying for something your exploiter needs to pay.
"Income" tax? It's a WAGE TAX. Porky makes his money from profits, capital gains, dividends, rents, financial boondoggling etc. Those things are taxed at much lower rates than they should be.
Here's what a pro-worker tax policy looks like. At the end of the year, you add up your total income - your salary + rental income + capital gains + dividends + literally anything that is "actually earned income"
Then you sort the population by income. The bottom 80% pay ZERO. The 80-99 percentile pay 40% on all earning above the 80th percentile income. The top 1% pay 80% above the 99th percentile income.
This tax would fund the government easily and no other tax is needed. The bloated military budget, various subsidies, inefficient govt orgs will be severely reduced or eliminated.
Remember that proles already had their money stolen by capitalists during labor time. EVERY DOLLAR OF TAX PAID BY A PROLE IS DOUBLE THEFT.
Also public execution for wealthy tax evaders.

No, as long as capitalists control the state, high taxes merely result in the state managing finances more than private capitalists. It makes it even harder for the proles to fight back because now they have to fight the state to claw back their income instead of individual private capitalists.

What do taxes do? They transfer wealth from individuals to the state. "Taxing capital" a.k.a direct wealth taxes, transfers capital from private owners to the state.
But since the state is controlled by the capitalist class, all it does it make capital even harder to seize by the working class. Because rather than seizing it from an individual capitalist, the workers now have to seize it from the United front of all capitalists.When the DotP is established, you don't even need to tax capital, you just directly sieze it. But we are talking about tax policy under capitalism demanded by a working class that has not yet siezed power.
