fyi even IF Metcalf was the aggressor, Anthony still would not legally justified in stabbing him. Stabbing an unarmed person who only shoved you while having plenty of opportunities to leave would be considered excessive force. I will say going through the protests and seeing the discourse there is too much misinformation out there just to fit a narrative where Austin somehow deserved death when it doesn't hold up at all. Proportional force to getting shoved is a punch or to get into it which is suitable for some teenage boys and the fight would have gotten broken up which is what usually happens. I point out the stuff about Frisco because I don't think it's really "about" the stabbing. Like was it right for Anthony to pull out a knife and stab Metcalf to death on a track field is not really what's driving this.
