i respect the DPRK. my grandfather fought against them, but we (america) were in the wrong. it was an imperialist war of aggression against a whole country. more ordinance dropped on them in 1950-1953 than was dropped on all of europe 1939-1945. we did the no gun ri massacre and destroyed their hospitals, school, sanitation, etc. we burned down their villages. we destroyed every city. germ warfare too. they had to rebuild everything from scratch with no outside help except china, while under heavy sanctions. those old DPRK military guys have medals not just for the war but all the rebuilding they did after. Socialism is powerful enough to rebuild after being treated like that. But people in my country say "look socialism starves you" not realizing it's the sanctions. it makes me very sad.
