WILLKOMENSKULTUR IST VORBEI edition

>“The age of Willkommenskultur is over, the era of mass deportations has begun,” commented the Sweden Democrats party, whose MEP Charlie Weimers played a central role as ECR’s shadow rapporteur.

>In a rare show of unity on the European Right, the directive was adopted not only by the national conservative groups (PfE, ECR, and ESN) but also the EPP, which votes together with the leftist parties in the vast majority of cases.
>Most importantly, the new law will introduce a mutual recognition and enforcement obligation between member states regarding deportation orders, meaning migrants cannot circumvent return decisions by moving to a different EU country and restarting the process. A return order in one country will legally count as a valid order in all of them.
>Another important point is the introduction of third-country return hubs, making it possible for member states to externalize return procedures by sending migrants to secure facilities outside EU territory to wait for the end of the process, ensuring they won’t escape implementation once the paperwork’s done.

>Willkommenskultur
Ah yeah they "welcomed" the foreign workers to be third rate citizens while turbo exploiting them when it was economically convenient and now they don't need them anymore. So nice, so welcoming

The worst part about these hubs is that the EU agencies governing them will lack any transparency, on the top of the fact that they’ll likely be used as detainment centres for dissidents in Europe. I mean, think about it, for years free speech has meant nothing in the EU with neither the right nor left of capital willing to defend it, and now you’ve got mainstream parties supporting re-militarisation.

I don’t think this bodes well for us, as historically many repressive measures have been trial-marshalled onto marginal groups whose mistreatment wouldn’t lead to societal rebellion, case in point immigrants.

Who is to say that these measures won’t be expanded to include dissenters?

IMO, this might signal a desperate start by the capitalist class to keep the EU on power by both implementing a fascist dictatorship and trying to survive via expansionist wars in the global south.

>>2843260
Power that be are already arbitrarily fascistic. In France they take 6-10 months to deliver a visa an immigrant is legally entitled to while furnishing temporary papers that make you unable to work for most of the year, horror stories happen in detainment centers too, basically chuds are already dogwalking the justice system and the rule of law for the marginalized, and now they are clamping down on the rare orgs that fight back like the human rights league.

>Centrists ally with the far-right to establish detention centres for migrant families, to chants of "Send them Back".

>The Left replies "Shame on You".

Materialist explanation for the worldwide pushback against immigration?

Shoot your local ICE agent.

>>2843313

And yet, proletarians in both the United States and Europe are both obsessed with mass deportations. Why?

>>2843316
Because they’re a scapegoat for crime and crime is a scapegoat for all economic woes. Normies in the west are privileged and stupid, they just need to be told 12 hours a day 7 days a week on nightly news that a black/brown person killed a child or expectant mother or aspiring student and use it as reactionary justification for the systemic criminalization of foreigners as a group.

>>2843313

You wont do shit

>>2843311
trial run for mass genocide on a global scale

not even kidding, haute porky is gearing up to exterminate double digits percent of the population and this is happening worldwide, AI is on the more visible side of this plan; they admit it themselves openly and in public "only the 1% will matter"

What is next mode of production?

fully automated luxury anarcho-digital barbarism with thiel-libertarian characteristics :^)

tbf anon idk and I won't be there anyways, some other economically literate anon should respond to that, I've been reduced to observing what these "people" are saying and doing and connecting the dots like a subhuman conspiratard

>>2843265
I foresee the beginnings of an European Kalafah-style system being implemented in the future to both quell European tribalism and to meet the labor needs of the EU, considering how few Euros want to breed which would require either doing away with feminism or get Israeli-style siege mentality and nastiness to reverse. Even so, I see few natalists ever grapple with the question that a high TFR might be worst than mass immigration in terms of lowering wages, especially given how events are going in the elites’ lockstep.

>>2843447
Scavenging in a world with a climate that destroyed most of the infrastructure.

>>2843311
Small capitalist anxiety

Refugees are the 21st century Ostjuden. Hopefully no genocide this time.

>>2843254
It’s interesting how the economic benefit of migrants is entirely ignored and they are treated as inherently criminal parasites Europeans benevolently let into their aging countries. Not surprised it’s a German term. Especially Germans are delusional and far up their own ass like that.

>>2843528
Its time for damage control now that multiculture has been established. Rightoids need to be managed so they dont chimp out.

>>2843311
When things are going to shit, you either change the system or use scapegoats. Obvisouly capitalists won't abolish themselves so scapegoating it is.
Focusing on persecuting the Other will buy time. They'll find something else once white people figure their lives are still shitty without brown people around.

To be honest, sending them back is merciful, they will be safer in their homelands. Europe is remilitarizing while deindustrializing. I forsee another Great European Chimpout, probably the last one there will ever be.

>>2843549
It's not just the brown people that get euros riled up. Polacks hate Ukrainians, British and Germans hate(d) Polacks. The reason its a problem is because the quantity of migrants brought about by war and poverty leads to ghettoization and an inability to integrate quickly. Nobody seems to have a Marxist solution to the problem because the Marxist left is dead pretty much everywhere and the people that are left can't think of anything but massive socialdemocratic state-funded projects (won't be allowed by bond markets because TPD must continue) or barbarism and concentration camps for migrants. This state of affairs will continue until socialist sects consolidate into parties and come up with an international strategy for organizing that doesn't rely on simply getting elected in their country and starting massive state projects.

>>2843555
>Polacks hate Ukrainians
Not just Poles, the Czechs hate the hohols too, just like Slovaks and Hungarians and Romanians hate each other, and the Balkanoids can’t stand one another. The lack of POCs is why even the PiS had to pivot from low-brow Islamophobia to the gay panic and pro-life activism: The problems of immigration in Western Europe were too abstract for normie Polacks to deeply care enough to vote for PiS, so the tradcaths had to shift focus on the gay panic since that’s the most divisive issue in Eastern Europe to date.

Honestly, the EU would have accelerated its collapse if it didn’t support Ukraine both morally and militarily and economically. Basically, Ukraine is the lightning rod for pan-European sentiment. If Russia wins, pan-Europeanism would either collapse or be re-directed towards reactionary sentiment such as imperialism and jingoism, made worse by how Europeans in general lack the ability of introspection. This is why the performative enlightened humanism of Eurocrats feels shallow: The average Euro would blame anyone but themselves for any problem before considering if the issue is from within instead of being caused by Russians/Muslims/Africans.

EU wants that piece of the human trafficking pie lmao

>>2843316
Because they aren't, it's by large rightoid propagabda hyping up their numbers and the media presenting the right as the only option against the dying liberal order.

Why is this causing so much liberal seethe here?

>>2843577
Mostly because it’s happening in the context of the EU pushing for re-militarisation and mass surveillance, so having these detention centres on European soil is seen among us here as a test run for indefinite detention of European citizens for presumably political dissent in the future, with full detainment in other countries.

There’s also the fact that, as global capital is being threatened whilst the Ukrainian theatre of NATO war is stalling, we’ll see more jingoism pushed by centrist and rightist parties aimed at useless imperialistic wars for resource extractions in the global south.

It’s not breaking science, it’s just a fact that repressive measures are trial-marshalled first upon marginalised groups before escalating further. Normalisation precedes hard force when the state wants to implement repression, especially against leftists and labor activists.

>>2843559
WTF are you blabbering? Despite all the whining about censorship and political repression in Russia by Eurocrats, the same thing exists to a much more pervasive extent in the EU.

>>2843535
new law is only going to apply to the ones that are in fact criminal parasites, no one's going to get rid of net positives

>US Tells ASML It’s Concerned China May Have Top Chip Tool

>Dutch chip-equipment giant ASML Holding NV is contending with its biggest challenge yet under the Trump administration: In a series of recent meetings, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick outlined concerns to ASML’s senior leaders that one of its top-of-the-line machines may have made its way into China, in violation of US-led export restrictions.

>In the meetings, Lutnick expressed concern to ASML executives over the company’s extreme ultraviolet lithography, or EUV, machines, according to people familiar with the talks. EUV systems are used by firms such as Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. to manufacture processors for the likes of Nvidia Corp. and Apple Inc., and ASML has never been allowed to ship them to China because of curbs imposed during the first Trump administration.

its over

https://archive.ph/GYYXO

>>2844287
Well there only so much China can do with one machine and no expert maintenance, it'll simply help them build their own down the line but that's still 5-10 years away.

>>2844292
what separates the west from china is tech innovation, not talent. retard
>5-10 years away
more like 1-2

>>2844295
You're an ignorant imbecile if you think you can build all the manufacturing base you need for a euv machine factory in such a short time even if all the science is mastered. I'd be happy to be proved wrong but I won't because solving all sorts of engineering problems to build the most complex machine on earth just takes time even if you throw millions of smart people at it.

>>2844286
No capitalist is going to the rehub camps

>>2844300
Plus it’s a gamble since it’s essentially a long-term project that won’t bring profits immediately. That’s why even in the west most industries are rarely built anew. In fact much of the infrastructure in Europe is already 4-5 decades old.

People don’t get that it takes time, perseverance, and willingness to incur heavy costs for such projects to succeed.

>>2844300
>solving all sorts of engineering problems
you seem to not realize china can simply reverse engineer the machine they just smuggled in. all the time and money spent in the west on R&D is kinda wasted now that china has the engineering answers already. China is already the manufacturing capital of the world so its insane euroid cope to say that don't have whats necessary to build these machines now that americas tech monopoly has been broken

migrants do not want to go to europe

a communist who is not anti-EU is no communist at all

why are euros culturally averse to air conditioning? asia and mideast and latam can afford it, so lack of funds isn't a good excuse

>>2849905
Air conditioning units are very loud on the outside. Running one at night will likely wake up the whole neigborhood, since nearly everyone else will sleep with open windows.

>>2849905
Too expensive, and was not really needed in the past, plus it just makes the climate problem worse for everyone, but obviously that's a moot point now since we failed to deal with climate change and nobody cares

>>2848573
"Frontex" sounds so fascist lol, what's up with that name

>>2843254
Yeah Eu economies are kaput and domestic army of the unemployed is growing that they need the desperate foreign workers as much. Also the liberal centers now see the anti immigration "new right" as more and more as a threat.

Funny thing is that, if so-called “race science” was real, then they would be 100% justified in taking welfare, on the top of affirmative action and DEI being justified too. I mean, you never see these chuds ever question gender quotas despite biological differences between males and females being greater than that between ethnicities save for extreme examples like the Congolese pygmies.

Then again, the average chud is just a shitlib so don’t expect consistency from them.

Partial victory with a catch: EU Parliament temporarily defies chat control
https://www.heise.de/en/news/Partial-victory-with-a-catch-EU-Parliament-temporarily-defies-chat-control-11349760.html

> According to information from negotiation circles, the German federal government is among the driving forces behind this attempt. The statements by leading politicians from the SPD and CDU that indiscriminate chat control is taboo thus threaten to become completely irrelevant.

>>2859958
It passed lmao, despite most MEPs voting against but you needed 2/3 majority to vote no because it was an "emergency bill". Companies again have a carte blanche to legally spy on you, majority of them being American, so anyne who says the EU is some anti-American force is an idiot, the NSA is cumming at this moment.
This is the vaunted EU democracy btw. Remember that the EU is not your friend and anyone who defends it is a moron who does not understand what it is, an international organization representing the interests of capital.
