Keep statistics on necessities so they are not produced just in time as needed, with only a small buffer surplus, to avoid the problem of food waste. Encourage frequent days off and healthcare checkups for preventative care, so that serious medical interventions are needed less often, and problems like cancer can be nipped in the bud early. If the population begins to age too much, resulting in too many retirees to take care of, while birth rates decline… fuck. I haven't figured that one out yet.
