Each country will become an open air fallout vault. Transhumanism and gene editing will result in speciation of humans into several new sub species meant to specialize. Mind altering substances and technology will be used to enforce obedience, and transform pain into pleasure. This will entrench artificial castes and turn life into a hell disguised as heaven.
