yep. charity just covers up austerity and launders the reputation of the wealthy. They performatively "give" 1 for every 1000 they "earn" (steal).

Also keep in mind how the IMF gives poor countries "food aid" while explicitly preventing them from growing their own food through structural adjustment programs, and keeping them on regiments of austerity, union busting, sanctions, privatization, etc..
