I don't understand how socialism works.
How is it even possible to end private ownership in current situation?
You guys are talking about a social takeover that ends private property by decree, but is anyone able to manage all that?
What happens to all companies then?
I ask this question because I don't consider myself a very dumb person, I studied socialism before but I still don't understand very well what it is apart from some abstract idea of ending private ownership because it allows exploitation, but the "next step" always seems weird.
Let's use this as an example: I once worked for cruise lines, I was a crew member on a cruise ship, and those companies were created by individuals and that is how theu operate.
How, in this case, take as an example Norwegian Cruise line, what would happen to it in a socialist society?
People work there, you can't just stop stuff from functioning.
