What’s the point of knowing leftist theory or political philosophy when we can simply base our politics on the notion of radical empathy?

Theory and philosophy are worthless and meaningless but empathy is something anyone can understand. It’s elitist as fuck to base your political aspirations on some grand abstract ideals since this ultimately creates hierarchies of intelligence because not everyone can grasp it. Yet empathy is a universal concept. Every political goal we seek has no reason to be done in the name of “Marxism” or “anarchism” but simply out of empathy, collective care for the weakest and most vulnerable of our world. It is only a politics of vulnerability that can ever be truly inclusive.

Instead of looking to establish some grand utopia, our politics need to be based on being trauma-informed. Trump, Epstein, covid and Palestine all gave us collective CPTSD. Radical leftist politics should be primarily concerned with HEALING. Likewise, we have now become aware of the purely eugenicist nature of capitalism. The only way to stop and prevent eugenics is through empathy, not through some grand theory like Marxism.

Literally everyone is complaining about the lack of empathy and support in the world today. It should be our primary job to bring empathy back so that the most vulnerable and marginalized identities are allowed full human dignity and the right to be their authentic selves without fear of eradication. Your bullshit Marxist philosophy can’t accomplish that.

This feels like trolling but in case it's not, I think empathy is generally good thing but it's not sufficient to overthrow the existing evil order, at some point you will have to harm someone in order to make the world better for everyone else, or work outside the law

Explain why empathy isn’t sufficient.

>our politics need to be based on being trauma-informed.

What the fuck is this supposed to mean?

Social democracy

What is the political structure that will promote, defend and define empathy?

This reads like something you'd see on DSA twitter a decade ago

>>2880999
You’re basically suggesting we replace Marxism will feels because retards can’t read Capital.

Really, history is about love, and is also progressed via war and labor; didn't Kojeve basically form his philosophy around this?

>>2881036
because they're gonna kill you if you don't defend yourself

>>2881036
Because it doesn't tell you how to actually solve the problems.

Hegelians believe in love? News to me.

You don’t need complex abstract “solutions.” Just base institutions on the principles of community care. Make care work the dominant industry in society and let the robots do all the manufacturing.
