Why don't you vote third party, leftists? And no not DSA. Something else. Besides I'm afraid it might be controlled opposition anyway just like Drumpf was. We could possibly outnumber the babyboomers as well if we both voted in a legitimate third party candidate.
First on the agenda is getting away from the Middle East, and removing foreign influence from Congress. If you can do me this favor we'll chat about other things upon a compromise.
Deal?
How about not voting at all? The only thing you do when you vote is legitimize the system. Join the 65% of people who don’t vote, boycott it.
>>2881124That's not going to do anything tho
>>2881125Yes it does, the fewer participants an election has the less legitimate the government is when you’re in a supposedly liberal democracy
Bourgeoisie democracy is for the bourgeoisie
And there are no worker’s parties
>>2881129Even if there were, voting for them and getting communists in boug institutions only makes them bouj and corrupts them, entryism doesn’t work unless you’re in a one party state
>>2881126Ok? Americans would still accept the election results.
>>2881129Well to be fair, it's all fake and gay, I am just hoping there would be a legitimate third party but there probably isn't.
>>2881132Since the technology is there we may be able to implement the use of it where we could have thousands upon thousands of representatives being hosted federally by a count of 150 people per representative in a state. 535 or whatever senators and representatives we have is obviously not going to represent anything and indeed, a famous Youtuber Mr. Beat said we should uncap the House for this purpose.
Still, I don't think such a motion would ever get passed unless through Article V of the Constitution, which bypasses Congress. Even so, I still don't think it could be passed.
I mean there obviously needs to be checks and balances, and I don't know what would be the cure-all solution for such a corrupted republic.
Democratically speaking, of course, I would not advocate for anything else if we could avoid it…
You do understand that telling imageboard using leftists not to support DSA repeatedly only emboldens them to support them more, right?
>>2881150My fellow rightoids did this with Drumpf thinking both times thinking he was on their side, but as time moved along Drumpf revealed he was part of the same big club of elites just playing an actor's role, what makes you think your little DSA is going to be any different?
>>2881150When you vote for a politician it's like buying a painting, it's a good appearance for sure, but it says nothing about the painting itself unless magnified through closer inspection.
Like, what do you actually know about these people in the DSA? Is my question to all of you.
The American people were betrayed with Trump:
We wanted no wars
Better prices
Legal immigration
Less immigration
Etc.
We got some of it during the first term, but it was completely upended in the second. Almost as if Trump was somebody else, another George W. Bush to be exact. Like I said, playing a role. But almost everyone of them are George W. Bushes. Even Obama, who had an obligation to the Middle East.
None of these guys are here for you, and it's doubtless that the DSA would be there for you. They might also be playing a role for higher powers and are not, necessarily, real in what they say or do.
There are solutions democratically, but it would require significant pushback from all cities, all counties, and all states.
>>2881245Right, there's not that many people in politics who are truly for what they say.. Very little, in fact. The question remains who can we trust with power, and who is willing to do what we ask, simply? Especially on foreign policy, which affects ALOT about other policies since we seem to be dumping too much of our taxdollars into these useless crusades. And not where it matters, that is to say, here.
>>2881245I had thought Trump was one of these people but, as you know Jill Stein voter, he simply hoodwinked us.
>>2881161check out the oliver larkin thread. dudes a dem and has dsa shilling for him, fucking insane
>>2881250i wouldn't have voted for trump even if he had spoke out against israel, nothing he says was ever worth a shit
>>2881308I only voted for him once and it was in 2016.. That term was ok, it was still very suspect in all of it. Which is why I didn't vote for him again.
>>2881308But the question remains, who can we trust, and who is actually allied with the American people at large?
>>2881314i can only speak for myself and my own ability to read a person and be a judge of human character, i can't tell other people who to trust and not to trust. i personally don't think any democratic or republican candidate has ever been allied with the american people at large, our entire society and all of its institutions are designed in such a way to prevent those kinds of people from ever rising to positions of importance.
i remember a long time i ago i listened to an episode of the marc maron podcast where he interviewed barack obama and it kind of made me understand the situation in a way that i've never really been able to forget. the longer i listened to him talk the more i became aware of two things, one being that he talks about the common american people the exact same way he talks about his own daughters, where he sees them as helpless confused children and himself as a loving but firm parent, and the other being that when he says things that are just blatantly false or misleading or downright callous, like defending us drone attacks in the middle east as a necessary national security measure, he isn't being dishonest; he is being completely sincere and he genuinely believes these things.
people tend to have this conception of politicians as being these crafty scheming pathological liars, but the truth is actually a lot worse than that. the real painful truth is that they aren't lying and that they are completely and utterly brainwashed, indoctrinated to the point where they are genuinely insane and have no connection to reality at all. the school system, the military, big business, corporate journalism, the justice system, local politics, national politics, all of these hierarchical institutions are designed to groom and filter people from early childhood onward, indoctrinating them to think a certain way and weeding out the ones who cannot or will not get with the program, so by the time you get to the top you're not really dealing with human beings who are capable of critical thinking or perceiving reality anymore, you're dealing with manufactured products that come from a machine.
>>2881123I look like this
>>2881155>My fellow rightoids did this with Drumpf thinking both times thinking he was on their side, but as time moved along Drumpf revealed he was part of the same big club of elites just playing an actor's role, what makes you think your little DSA is going to be any different?Trump was always transparently an elite though, rightoids had to turbogaslight themselves into thinking otherwise with gematria and pepejak spam. Unlike rightoids, you have the tech literacy to research into the DSA and weigh the cost-benefits of an imperfect but momentarily optimal choice in a system purposely built to not give workers an obvious good choice.
Why not vote for actual communists?
>there arent any
Then run for election and/or start a communist party.
