I'm not russian though, but a national formerly colonized by social imperialism, so I can say it.
It's the rules of wokeness

>>2886302
Gay is westoid concept

>>2886540
I actually never heard an example of what putin did that was bad, concretely

why even care about russian politics, putin is dear leader for life. im sure whoever comes after he dies will be just as much as a mad lad

>>2886572

>>2886536
Which is why you’re not allowed romantic and sexual feelings between men, it’s imperialist

>>2886572
Aren't you literally British? You have no place to talk.

I'm not Russian either so I'm going to be dipping out, but reading this thread it's rather funny that the majority of posts in Russian are those that are critical of UR/Putin, whereas the ones that uncritically glaze them are almost universally in English. Curious!

>>2886405
i mean he's literally yeltsin's number 1 guy and more or less continued the line of the yeltsin administration

I've been reading Crime and Punishment and I have no idea why "Dunia" is a nickname for "Avdotya". Also is it really that hot in Saint Petersburg? I thought all of Russia was cold and snowy.

>>2886614
Cucktin never tried to kill himself through drinking vodka in a sauna, that’s why NATO hates him completely irrationally

>>2886668
RUSSIA GOOD = POLITICALLY CORRECT OPINION IN RUSSIA.
>bipartisan PC
<Bipartisanship is a political situation, sometimes referred to as nonpartisanship and usually in the context of a two-party system (especially those of the United States and some other Western countries)

>you’ll be back in my swamp

>>2886673
>RUSSIA GOOD = POLITICALLY CORRECT OPINION IN RUSSIA.
Shocker. So really you’re here to preach in Russian to the English-language choir? Brave.

>>2886684
This thread started after I saw at least five Russian-speaking people in >>2885388. This place is not for you. Like a true Brit, however, you will insist upon meddling in places you're not invited to

>>2886693
It is. Does that mean that the basic courtesy of "don't jump into a thread that's in a language you can't speak about a country that you don't live in" does not apply?

>>2886668
>it’s leftist politically incorrect
kek I wish tankiddies that piss and shit and vomit themselves and go crying to the mods everytime someone shits on their favorite capitalist shithole of the month remembered that

>>2886699
Motherfucker it was mentioned in this thread

>>2886704
Do you truly have that much of an ego that someone else mentioning your nationality, especially considering that it's someone that doesn't even participate in the thread, isn't Russian, and left immediately afterwards, must equate to the entirety of the thread existing only so that people can avoid you, specifically?

>>2886707
I really would prefer it if most people who aren't actually from around here would lurk instead, yes. Code switching gets annoying. Especially if those people are participating in bad faith, like (You).

>>2886655
avdotya - dotya - dunya

>>2886572
OP made a shitty start to the thread before it even began and ended up shitting it up instead of letting the discussion go along smoothly. It seems more like grievance than anything else

The fact that mods allow this thread which clearly violates Rule 8, just because it's anti-SMO, says it all.

>>2886567
>Medvedev
But is that really true?

Sorry! The liberation of Novorussia from Nazi yoke will CONTINUE.

>>2886725
To be fair it only violates Rule 8 because they break Rule 11 constantly in /ukr/ with accusations that everyone who is anti-NATO in that thread is actually just gay for Cucktin.

>>2886725
>all of Russian political life revolves around the war in Ukraine

By that logic we should ban USApol because we already have a thread about the war in Iran

>>2886722
>It’s Windows+Space, hope that helps.
It's Ctrl+Alt, by the way.
>Bad faith, in a thread where the OP says FUCK OFF?
Yep.

>>2886725
Do all Russian politics start and end on the war? The original topic of the thread was elections, you know.

>>2886738
Pretty easy, actually. Also, I'm retarded, it's Alt+Shift, lmao. I think that's the default on Windows? It's also the one I use, my brain just stopped working for a second there.

>>2886710
I imagine the pronunciation it's similar in Russian but in the Latin alphabet it looks like it comes out of nowhere. I think it's also interesting how everyone calls each other "little brother" and "little father"(batiushka). It's that a real thing in Russian or is it just something the translator made up?

>>2886479
By that reasoning neither Marx nor Lenin nor Stalin were communists.

>>2886798
>I imagine the pronunciation it's similar in Russian
It isn't really, but weird shortenings for names is a thing that happens often enough in Russian that that I personally didn't question it.
>I think it's also interesting how everyone calls each other "little brother" and "little father"(batiushka). It's that a real thing in Russian or is it just something the translator made up?
It was a thing in pre-revolutionary Russia, but wasn't used as often in the USSR, as far as I'm aware. Батюшка/batiuhska is still used in religious Orthodox contexts to refer to the priest.
"Little brother" is a mistranslation, it's just "brother", I think.

>>2886736
But the Iran War is still talked about in the USPOL thread. This thread made it clear that the war can't be discussed at all

>>2886737
>Do all Russian politics start and end on the war? The original topic of the thread was elections, you know
<KEEP THE PRO-WAR CIRCLEJERK TO /ukr/ AND FUCK OFF
It would be different if you say the war discussion goes in /ukr/. Its another thing to make an entire position and calling it a circlejerk. It makes it clear how you want the discussion

>Russophobic ethnic slur “vatnik”

>>2886093

I know things are very hard and have been for a long time.

Hell it looks like even the СВО supporters weren't spared prison sentences if they seemed too uppidity (I am thinking of Udaltsov)

I don't know how long the KPRF thinks they will last cucking out to UR & to Chinese style state capitalism.

Either way I am pretty useless living in the west and just tuning in to Roman Osin lectures. Its about the limit of my interaction with Ru Commiesphere.

>>2886381
>the issue with the current Russian oligarchical method of organisation is "not enough free markets"

>>2886405
That's already happened

>>2886938
Guys who implant themselves on Putin's dick and then spin around like a helicopter and live in the West don't know enough about actual Eastern European ethnic slurs and think it's other stuff they hear on the internet

>>2886546
Have ever you tried watching something besides RT

>>2886442

Isn't the typical Russian liberal feeling on LGBTetc something like "I like the fact that the LGBTetc are a western cultural export that my fellow countrymen hate, that it tends to be associated with anti-traditional & anti-soviet values, but personally am pretty grossed out by them and don't really like them as people"?

That's the limited impression I got though. Basically "Its actually good that the damned transvestites are destroying Russia." (Borrowing from a joke I have seen Syomin repeat about how the current Rus Gov. tried to legitimize itself; As if the liberals believe state propaganda in reverse.)

>>2886822
Thanks anon. Honestly there's so much good Russian literature out there (both pre and post revolution) that I'm seriously considering learning the language just to read the originals. Do you think it's a difficult language to learn for someone who only knows English and Spanish?

>>2886940

>>2886946
Right. That's where we disagree with them. Hence the word "actual" before "queer rights".

>>2886967
It is. Very hard.

>>2886917
Some things that I believe should be allowed to be discussed fall under the "war discussion" umbrella despite being about actual day-to-day stuff. The thing I had in mind most was mobilisation. I believe the Russians of this board should be allowed to talk about that without we$$toids interjecting about how dying for le anti-imperialist cause is le based.

I find that Russian speaker furries typically have the cutest fursonas, what is the materialist explanation for this

>>2886993

>>2886549
>>2886945
See? Never a concrete example.
Non-western liberals just blame their "dicttators" and "autocracies" on not having been born in the west

Every manifestation of being a peripheral nation in the world system gets blamed on "lack of democracy"

I said something putin did, not nato
