So I've been working for the local direct aid anarchist group (fnb). They're great and I've met some good people through it. Thing is though is that it doesn't really satisfy me. I've been thinking about this more and more, but is there a direct aid group that is international? Kinda like the red cross but actually marxist/anarchist/leftist.
I'm sick of my day to day life and I'm quite willing to make that commitment.
How would one join such a group if it exists, how could I reach them. I'm very willing to do hard and dangerous work.

>I'm very willing to do hard and dangerous work.
Then don't start by looking for a revolutionary Doctors Without Borders. Direct aid is useful, but if what you're actually looking for is international communist organizing, the important question is what political work you can do where you are. Marxism isn't an adventure career where you fly somewhere dangerous and become useful. A lot of revolutionary work is painfully mundane: organizing workers, building political organizations, distributing literature, doing logistics, mutual aid, agitation, education, etc. There have historically been international communist organizations, and there are still various international networks, but there isn't really a single universally recognized "Red Cross but communist." Organizations that actually do serious international work tend to be tied to particular parties, movements, unions, or national liberation struggles.

If you already have an FNB group, I'd honestly keep doing it. Feeding homeless people isn't going to overthrow capitalism, obviously, but it can teach you organization, logistics, discipline, and how to work with people who aren't already ideologically committed. Then find an actual communist organization in your country and see whether they're doing concrete work. Don't go hunting for the most dangerous assignment you can find. Revolutionary politics needs reliable organizers a hell of a lot more than it needs people trying to get themselves killed. And for the love of God and everything nice on this planet, be wary of anyone who advertises themselves as an international revolutionary organization specifically because they promise "hard and dangerous work." That's a fantastic way to end up as somebody else's disposable cannon fodder.

Well first of all, what is your end goal? A stateless, moneyless, classless society? No amount of directionless "organizing", mutual aid, strikes, electioneering or culture hacking will achieve that.

What do you actually want to achieve as your final goal?

PPW and insurrection are not feasible

thx for that response
I guess Im a bit of an escapist
I'm also apart of the frso
but its quite frustrating as they seem to do nothing and get hampered by bureaucratic bullshit

>but if what you're actually looking for is international communist organizing
I am indeed looking for that
I guess the issue is that im kinda lacking in the economic resources to relocate
Im young and still dependent on my parents
theres no communist group where I am, not even a nominal one

I guess tho im being pessimistic
there are still opportunities to organize
its not like i live in the middle of nowhere

Say it again for the deaf mother fuckers in the back

PPW and insurrection are not feasible

If you're not defining 'insurrection' here you are just spamming qualitatively empty posts.

>is there a direct aid group that is international? Kinda like the red cross but actually marxist/anarchist/leftist

Become a trot

Go be an actual prole and get a blue collar job and just organize workers into associations and strike to descend the political culture of whatever country you live in towards civil war via disruptions and class friction because thats how the original german communists racked up their support base

Couldn't have put it better myself
