Anybody else voting republican in the midterms, heres why I am
>trump has revived socialism
>the contradictions of capitalism have accelerated
>proverty is up
>america is losing a war badly
>america has accelerated its debt crisis
>a recession is all but inevitable infact it might be worst
>political violence against the ruling class is normalized
>trump is retarded
Is Trump running for a third term?
>>2898287God I hope so that will really signal the death of america.
also I should've added trump supports devaluing the dollar for some reason
>>2898288America will never die, it'll just keep getting the same amount of shittier with no actual threshold for collapse. We'll keep starting wars, we'll directly invade South American countries soon, and Republicans will only make it happen faster.
you all exaggerate everything, both OP and this guy
>>2898301>>2898304If what I was trying to exaggerate in that direction, I'd say America will be fine and actually move along without a hitch, the masses in America wouldn't suffer mostly and even our standard of living might improve.
I took the middle ground here. If my statement was an exaggeration, what would you say is the actual measured take?
>>2898301The american working class never benefits from imperialist war retard, it only good because it leads to the death of the bourg state if it fails
>>2898314>Imperialist war never benefits massesI didn't say it did. What I'm arguing is that accelerationist bullshit like "lol what if we voted for Trump because he'll explode America and let us have a revolution" doesn't actually work and you just get the worst of both worlds every time.
>>2898321Evendoe thats based I want to suffer further
Trump hasn’t “revived socialism.” He’s a real-estate grifter and tariff nationalist running the same imperialist state the Democrats do, just with more openly chauvinist rhetoric and less concern for liberal optics. The contradictions of capitalism are always present; a Republican administration accelerating them through tax cuts for capital, union-busting, and chaotic trade policy does not equal progress toward socialism. It equals a more unstable, more repressive phase of the same system.
Poverty rising, debt climbing, recession risks, declining imperial position, etc. These are structural features of late capitalism, not unique gifts from Trump. They were already visible under Obama and Biden. Treating them as proof you should vote Republican is pure accelerationist cope. Marxism-Leninism is not “make the crisis worse and hope the working class spontaneously radicalizes.” Spontaneous radicalization under pure reaction usually produces fascism or despair, not soviets.
Political violence against the ruling class being “normalized” is also not a strategy. Isolated acts or online LARPing don’t replace organized class struggle, dual power, or a party capable of seizing and holding state power. Celebrating chaos while still marking the ballot for one bourgeois faction over the other is just liberalism with extra steps. If your analysis is that the system is rotting, the correct response is building proletarian organization that can exploit the crisis, not handing the executive branch to the more openly reactionary wing of capital because you think it will somehow midwife socialism.
>>2898286>political violence against the ruling class is normalizedIt's really not.
