I've personally approached marx from a more economic perspective and I was surprised to see that some authors treat Marx as primarily a philosopher rather than a social critique.

From the few bits and pieces I've read on it, their work seems completely irrelevant and stuck in philosophical qualms with no relation to the real world. The hegelian interpretation of Marx reads as a bunch of messianic and idealist garbage that Marx would've condemned.
But what's /leftypol/'s opinion on the matter ?

They're chucklef*cks

I see Marx as the central key essential figure which accurately represents the issue of class warfare.
Hegel thinking that unrestrained businesses causing poverty is entirely accurate.

A pre-established business is also an immense problem. They will always sit on top of resources and deprive everyone of everything in every circumstance.

I find Cai Qi Communism to be a better and more stronger implementation of communism than Hegel's.

the work of who? give us examples of what you've read, pls

I don't fucks with Hegelians of any font, and neither should you. Prussian brainrot.

*chucklefucks
What are you a god damn child?

I can’t read or understand hegel so I’m biased against him

I've read lukacs, Kojève's "sophia", and a few french authors. I don't know if they're available in English but Jean Yves Caldez comes to mind

I cannot understand what you're saying. Are you trying to say that Marx was just a transitive figure from Hegel's "communism" ?

Lenin said in his personal notes that it's impossible to understand the first chapter of Capital Volume 1 without reading Hegel's Science of Logic. I disagree, but also I acknowledge he was writing in a pre-internet time with much more limited translations.

Explain how internet memes makes Capital easier to understand, such that Science of Logic would otherwise be necessary, but not be anymore.

it is a bit of a strange thread here. it's like asking vegans what they think of vegans who eat pork or perhaps jews what they think of jews who say they worship jesus.

hegelian marxist is definitionally a contradiction in terms. marxism flips the hegelian dialectic. so a hegelian marxist has flipped it back into hegelianism? why not just call it hegelianism?

like all leftypol threads, it is appropriate to take this one with a grain of salt. discussing historical materialism and dialectics with randos on social media is one thing, another thing entirely to do so with anonymous users on a thai thimble collecting bulletin board servce

>>2899129
Are there non-Hegelian Marxists?

>>2899914
althusser

>>2899834
Who mentioned memes? Education is much more widespread nowadays, partly because of the internet. No one has to read Hegel as a primary source in contemporary times unless his body of work is your main object of study; not even philosophy majors engage with more than a few chapters throughout the curriculum. You can get educated enough to read Das (and you should, if your main object of study is Marx) without reading Hegel through primary sources.

>>2899914
Althusserians and Analytic Marxists like Gerald Cohen

it should tell you something that the eurocentric white supremacist views of hegel are so compatible with marx

>>2899834
I just said there are better translations and you don't have to ride horse and buggy to a library or smuggle illegal books into the country like Lenin did. I said nothing about memes. God damn you anons are frustrating sometimes.

>you know who also thought 2+2=4…? that's right. adolf hitler. not a big fan of addition now, are you?
