It's a pluralist organisation with internal democracy and many currents, yes there are rightists and liberals in it but there are also leftists and communists and they've been on the ascendancy within the organisation in recent years. The hope of socialism lies in the working class having a party, the DSA is not that yet but it's the closest thing America has to it and if communists work diligently to develop their ideas and organise in the DSA, there's a much greater chance it becomes the mass communist party we need than there is of any pseudo-revolutionary sect ever achieving anything.
Join DSA, participate in your chapter, read and write in the party press, oppose the AOC-shilling slopulist right, join the marxist unity group and struggle for a communist party.
