We as internationalists were about 60, we know that youth from outside of the area (the village and those commuting from Salfit) was at least our number, village itself has about 2,000 people but far from everyone was involved. Pulling a figure out of my ass, maybe 500?

Yeah the fuckers kept on flying a drone (quadcopter) over our heads especially when there were large gatherings. They were deffo trying to ID us as internationalists, luckily all the times they were watching us I had a keffiyeh on lol.

Not at the festival no. Went through several checkpoints and at one point a teenager with a gun came on board, ignored us and only questioned the arab kid (driver's son) at the back of the bus.

Lots. Political education was very important and seeing the occupation directly helps articulate around it. The work was also rewarding and I have made some connections with activists and journalists. I hope to be able to

Personally? Yes. In the West Bank? Going to be real its bleak. One of the elders say its as bad if not worse than when the comprador Village Leagues were ascendant prior to the first intifada. One of the comrades put it well "we have tried everything and it has all failed" while another just said me "we don't really do anything anymore". These weren't old men saying that they were in their 30s and 20s respectively.

<I went to a Communist Festival organised by the Palestinian People's Party in the village of Farkha, Salfit Governate, West Bank this August. I can't really prove it in a way that wouldn't dox myself but picrel shouldn't be findable elsewhere on the internet so that should be proof enough.

I don't think merely meeting with communists in the global south automatically makes one the next fred hampton or edward snowden but I'm no fed expert.

I only know my Inshallahs from my Alhamdulillahs. I learnt some very basic phrases ("No", "Thank you", "Thank you [for giving me this]", "Where?") while there. Most things were bilingual partially because it is meant to be an *international* festival after all.

Only yanks there were Palestinian joint-citizens (surprising number of them honestly). One of them is 100p on a list. Also this >>2910362 besides most of the people there were krauts I think they are more at risk than burgers.

When we were in one of the major cities of the west bank there was a raid where Israeli Army trucks drove by and one of the guys said "they don't even throw stones at them anymore" the brutalisation of Gaza has demoralised Palestinians to a drastic extent.

I crossed from Jordan, was very easy but it was my first time in the country and my outfit was christianmaxing. Like 5 internationalists were stopped though. The secret is to have a good cover story that you look like (if you are flying through David Ben Gurion and say you are doing gay stuff, look gay) and lock down your public social media. Apparently someone got denied because the border guard put their name into chatgpt and found articles where they had endorsed Palestine. It is luck of the draw though: I am a white male the arabs in our number got hell. Also do not have telegram and if you have telegram clear it of political channels. It's apparently what Palestinians use so the israelis are paranoid about it.

On a serious note the Internationalists were predominately German so represented a bunch of german organisations, especially from the Munich area. They were predominately antimiliartist organisations with some ecological, internationalist, and anti-racist ones mixed in. We actually had members from Die Linke and a guy from La France Insourmise (although he said he was only a member strategically and had no position in it). We had a Swiss and a Slovene delegation which were both part of respective localist Marxist organisations, and the two brits were unaffiliated. Worth saying that a few of the germans were previously in the DKP but the lack of party members from the IMCWP was noticeable. There is a obscure Italian communist party (Fronte Comunista) which apparently has sent people previously but they weren't there.
