We as internationalists were about 60, we know that youth from outside of the area (the village and those commuting from Salfit) was at least our number, village itself has about 2,000 people but far from everyone was involved. Pulling a figure out of my ass, maybe 500?

Yeah the fuckers kept on flying a drone (quadcopter) over our heads especially when there were large gatherings. They were deffo trying to ID us as internationalists, luckily all the times they were watching us I had a keffiyeh on lol.

Not at the festival no. Went through several checkpoints and at one point a teenager with a gun came on board, ignored us and only questioned the arab kid (driver's son) at the back of the bus.

Lots. Political education was very important and seeing the occupation directly helps articulate around it. The work was also rewarding and I have made some connections with activists and journalists. I hope to be able to

Personally? Yes. In the West Bank? Going to be real its bleak. One of the elders say its as bad if not worse than when the comprador Village Leagues were ascendant prior to the first intifada. One of the comrades put it well "we have tried everything and it has all failed" while another just said me "we don't really do anything anymore". These weren't old men saying that they were in their 30s and 20s respectively.

<I went to a Communist Festival organised by the Palestinian People's Party in the village of Farkha, Salfit Governate, West Bank this August. I can't really prove it in a way that wouldn't dox myself but picrel shouldn't be findable elsewhere on the internet so that should be proof enough.

I don't think merely meeting with communists in the global south automatically makes one the next fred hampton or edward snowden but I'm no fed expert.
