It's about showing what life would look like through the eyes of an everyday American worker under an early-stage socialist economic system and state. But to summarize and condense it: nationalization of the commanding heights of industry, the placing of all means of production in the hands of democratically run trade unions, the decommodification of housing, utility, healthcare, basic foods and clothing, essential miscellaneous goods, the start of massive public works projects in large part to mitigate climate disasters, heavy economic planning of energy production and industry to shift towards renewables and fighting The Climate tm, the abolition of the Electoral College and Senate, the banning of non-socialist parties, etc.

That's just what I think would be the ideal plan for transitioning through the DOTP and into early socialism should be. In reality? Who knows? It could be my dream, but more likely it will either never happen, only come about after balkanization, result in a failing social democracy unable to deal with climate change, and/or be unable to do anything to stop the collapse of the USA and the modern geopolitical world as we know it over the next century. We could get something totally new.

I just hope that somehow, somewhere, we will have the chance to attain power and make the world a better place through the end of capitalism and the construction of a socialist society *in our lifetimes* (no 100 years of DOTP foreverwars and unfulfilled promises).

High speed rail and public transport cause cars to become a more hobbyist/recreational thing with multiple highway systems converted to race tracks for takeovers, sideshows and dragracing or fall into disrepair.
