There isn't a single industry in the West experiencing real growth except defense and AI and calling it "growth" is generous. It’s more of a last-resort attempt to pump life into a rotting cadaver. Meanwhile, China is consolidating global tech innovation, closing in on fusion energy and hardware built to outpace the West entirely. Mass layoffs across traditional SaaS, gaming, and social media confirm the truth: there’s simply no money left in the consumer economy worth extracting, leaving defense as the only viable play against a dead-end market. Which is why we're seeing companies like flock and palantir or anduril suddenly being overvalued.
Im in tech and I'm tired of the entire market. I wonder if at this pace a service economy really makes sense. It's simply unsustainable

Did the company give up on its dreams? Did it give up on its customers? Who Cares?
You know who it didn't give up on? Shareholders, who will be taking all your wages and retirement money, payroll taxes all of it.
