>>2931751Look, bro, there's a solid 50 years of twins and adoption study showing that certain mental disorder have a strong generic component, I know that genetics explanation around here is somewhat controversial, but still, I there's literally a meta analysis from 2013 with all twins studies showing beyond the shadow of doubt that genetics play a role on behavior. Still, I know it's a controversial topic around here because irks of biological essentialism and less knowledgeable people can interpret those studies in a wrong way. Anyways, my point is: mental illness are real and they have a biological root, at least part of the illness, there are of course environmental causes too, both genes and environments interact to give rise to a psychopath or a narcissist.
